I saw many of these fake ups during the time of Telegram airdrops that added games to be downloaded from Playstore and other places. Most of those games forces you to allow ads and 80% of these adds are casinos most of which are fake. I don't know what will be the solution for this but it is a big threat that need urgent attention.

The moment they used a fake advertisement with a popular personality, they became untrustworthy right from the start. That’s automatically sketchy. People who resort to tactics like this shouldn’t be trusted at all. Those who easily fall for this trick are usually people who aren’t tech-savvy, don’t use social media much, or aren’t aware of what AI can do these days. But if one knows how to spot what’s real and what’s fake, then why take the risk, especially when there are plenty of other well known and trusted options out there?

Getting to buy people with this advertisement is what this impersonators are good at. They know what their victims want and they use that to lure them into using their services and hit them rugged during the process. AI is really becoming more and more powerful in this technological era, so you have to know how this AI works and be able to detect any picture or video that is AI modelled. Plenty of options to use are available for all, but not having the mindset to take on the process the right way, and access real time service free of sketchy behaviour is what many lacks and they end up falling to using this fake services. Hopefully a lasting solution to this is found soon.

Strange that there are already mobile applications in the Play Store. I am curious how they will scam or hack? Like, does this app have some malware, or will it fake some deposits, and you can't withdraw anymore? Or some kind of phishing?

The possible way that people will get hacked through this application is if they input their bank details when going through the verification process...This is not that first scam application, there are others that people fell for in the past and people are still falling victims to such till now..my problem with this is that they are on play store before any app gets there for download aren't they supposed to scrutinize it?

But in most cases it's far easier, you put your money in that casino and theya re all gone, the RTPs are ussulay crap below 50% so you instatly lose eveythign and if you win they will ban your account, and go dark in a few weeks anyhow.

There are some people that will not registered but not play on the gambling site. The malware can be helpful for the scammers there and also those that downloaded the gambling app and gambled can also lose in either way or both.

Simply burglary gets you 1-2 years in jail, the risks of injuring and maybe killing the homeowner ina fight can end with a lifetime sentence.

So why risk an extra charge, being hunted by one more department once their malware catches the eye when they could simply declare bankruptcy and close the business, taking the money and only care about the ones with real money that could open a lawsuit against them, which they could settle anyhow?

I have encountered few of them, worst one was a doctor in a white coat explaining nonsensical "scientific" evidence how those games boosted your brains and helped to get sleep.

Funny thing was that even they were otherwise speaking my native language fluently, they made some hilarious grammatical errors that no native ever would do.

My native language is one of the hardest to learn, and one word can mean 9 totally different things depending on the context and sometimes translators use alternatives for those words to sound less generic. This naturally changes the meaning for that word and suddenly that white coated man starts to babble nonsense.

I have a rule of thumb that if an app uses advertisements inside the app, it's least likely to do anything harmful. But if the free app seems too clean, i am probably the product and being scammed somehow. Like with miners and spyware, as those apps need to fund themselves somehow.

Deep fake videos are now used by a lot of scammers, it's easy for me to know if this is true or false, all I have to do is go to Mr beasts page on this social media pages and check if he's really advertising a casino. Once a casino starts with a decisive promotion, it's already a known red flag that they will probably end up scamming people. I have come across most of such similar apps which are for my country people, where the deposits are done using our fiat currency, and they use some sort of get-rich promotions offer to promote these casinos, which I immediately don't even give attention to.

I just checked the store and it is not on play store. I have some experiences with Google Play store and I must tell you how disappointed I am with them. I used to think they were detailed before approving an app to be on their store but only to find out that they aren't. They are scam and fraudulent apps there. As for the AI videos even though they have become advanced, one can still pick out a real actual video from one made with AI.

Doing your own research is actually the best way to avoiding scam in this new era of A.I video generation, most especially this VEO 3  that is currently mind-blowing. Because actually if this casino was own by Mr. Beast, I'm pretty sure he probably could have promoted it on his official social media handles, that is, be it either YouTube, Instagram or Facebook. But judging by the fact that it's not been advertised there, despite his large audience, just conclude the fact that this is likely to be a potential scam, of which people just needs to be careful about. Because these are the type of casino who offers seamless deposit, but if you eventually win a game, they won't want to process your withdrawal. Hence the need to be extremely careful.

Exactly, there are many types like this and there are many online gambling promotions that are indeed shared on various social media with the tagline rewards and the possibility of jackpots that can be easily obtained. With narratives, dramas, and also various types of promotions that are easy to attract the attention of social media users, many people end up jumping into the world of online betting due to online advertising on social media.

Even worse, there are several online sites that share information on social media, by editing interviews with famous artists from a country with voice dubbing or voice editing for online gambling promotions, this has been eradicated. This is something unable to remove, there will be always another fake casino apps. The best way to deal with this threat is being more careful and don't easily trust any casino apps. We should avoid to download unknown casino apps. It is better to access casino games through casino sites that we are familiar enough. Advertisement using popular people are always suspicious because they probably won't do it. Even more, it is an advertisement for unfamiliar casino sites. I’ve noticed the same thing lately especially those dodgy ads clearly edited and revoiced to fit different regions. I had a family member nearly fall for one of those casino apps promising huge payouts. A quick reverse image search and some digging showed it had no real company behind it just a bunch of cloned apps with different names. Just because it looks pro, doesn’t mean it’s safe. Always worth doing a bit of research before downloading or connecting a wallet to anything unfamiliar.

This type of promoting strategy is pretty common on Facebook. They are using those high influencers and editing them with AI to look like they are talking about the casino, but the fact is they are just editing the mouth and voice to talk.

I saw many of these, usually on social media like Facebook, but if you tried to click and copy the link of that ads and use link destination to find the last URL destination, you would see most of them are affiliate links and referral links.
If you fall for this and gamble, don't expect to win; it's a clear scam, and I'm sure the guy who promotes it is using the free credits to promote the ref and affiliate links. They can earn from people they invited 50% or even 20% of the wagered amount as their earnings. I'm sure if they invited an addicted player, the casino and this guy who promotes links would make money every day if the addicted player continued to gamble.

That is true, but this scammers are smarting the system, it's like they are one step ahead of the game. When Google strengthen their algo to catch this criminals, they will adjust everything so that they will be under the radar until they are caught. And that is why the best weapon for us is to be really self-awareness. We should understand before hand that it's a wild wild west out there. And that we should be very careful on the links or the games that we should be downloading on our mobile phone or desktop. Otherwise, if we don't exercise our logic thinking, we might download those apps and then we get infected. And it's going to be late once this cyber criminals have taken everything from us including our crypto.

Yes, cases like this do happen a lot on social media, especially Facebook, which is very disturbing because there are so many online gambling scams that take advantage of famous influencers by using AI as if the influencer is speaking, and also with attractive bonuses. However, I saw comments from smart people who already knew that it was a scam because the influencer's lip movements still looked unconvincing or knew that it was edited, and it was not easy to believe it right away, but still if it happens often and continues to happen on their platform then there is the potential for someone to be tempted, especially beginners who are still unfamiliar with technology or do not follow technological developments and that is really detrimental and even tarnishes the good name of gambling, especially casinos that already have a good reputation because it is certain that people who are laymen or who do not know gambling at all will judge it the same and that is really very detrimental to many parties.
