That's why we need to be careful and always verify the legitimacy of the content. Because anything can be easily fake now with the help of AI. Moreover, it's not unusual anymore to see people doing this thing since it's a strategy for them to lure people on their site. The reason why we should not rely on social media if we're looking for casinos to play in. It's still best to have reliable source as reference or directly go to the official casino site to verify.

But downloading app is different since I never download an app that involved money except exchange or banking app since all of them are registered and licensed unlike random casino app which I believe not allowed on playstore.

It is not difficult to avoid the risk if you download the app with a little caution. It must be admitted that scammers are very clever in spreading links to their phishing sites. However, those who are aware can protect themselves from these issues. I am very careful when downloading any app in general. In particular, I refrain from clicking any link from any place other than an authentic source. If someone has to download an app, then if they try from the site where they play regularly, they can get that app or they can download it from App store or any other authentic platform, but if you download from an unknown source, there is a high chance of being a victim of fraud.

I do understand your point here since even I do this kind of lazy mistake if happened by the time when I’m already tired. I sometimes skip checking and rely on as is.

I thought I'm the only one that have this type of experience. I can come from tiredness or from the angle of over-confidence that everything is perfect only to find out very late. I lost about $100 last year to something a nob can even avoid and till date I have not forgiven myself for such a dump mistake which was to simply double check the address to see that it was the right one. I was so confident and ended up sending my crypto to the wrong address and I lost the money.

It is kind of baffling how those scammers are willing to do artificial intelligence and the image of someone like Mr Beast in order to attract as many victims as possible to their trap, it is kind of disturbing as well because the public and viewers of Mr Beast are mostly children and teens, who would not be gambling or at least, they are not supposed to do it.
For some reason the Play store of Google has always been full of garbage and scams which Google does not even take the time to review before publishing, unlike the IStore or Apple, where it seems less likely to encounter these kind of apps which are blatantly created to scam the money out of people.

I would not even use applications to gamble, being able to access their casino from a browser is enough, most of the time those browser are correctly optimized to work on smartphones anyways.

For us who are active in forums, it will be difficult to be interested in advertisements on social media. Especially if it is disguised as one of the websites on this forum, we would rather check the announcements than click on the advertisement directly. However, FB, X and Instagram users who are not tech-savvy will easily be interested in gambling advertisements on social media, especially if the advertisement is made like a mobile game and mostly contains deceptive offer words. such as "playing the game, depositing to get coins and spins". I am cautious with fake apps and I do check things before believing that they are real. And, I'm not usually in the playstore or even in the appstore. I just don't have my time for those apps in there because it's been a den for the scam apps as well. Don't believe with these people quickly when they have no idea of the casinos that they are being attached to. Look at their socials and it is easy to see if they have legit partnership with these or just message them to report it as well that there are scammers using their trademarks.
