I have not bet on red card before in a match because it's hard to say if a player will get a red card or not, but I have bet on how many yellow card that will be in a match i.e the total. I did not win that bet and after I tried three different times, it didn't worked out for me, I stopped choosing that betting option. This is one of the advantages of sport bet especially, soccer because you have various options to bet on.

I don't think that the referee has anything to do with giving a player a red card if he doesn't commit an offense that deserves it, because if he does, VAR will call him to order.

Sometimes, the referee is the reason why i bet on yellow/red cards even though the possibility of a yellow/red card is as a result of the two teams that are playing a match that makes me to bet on that option, if they are two aggressive teams then there will be more yellow cards in that game or probably a red card but it's not easy to predict a match that will produce a red card since it's very rare to see a red card in most of the matches played in a season. There was a time that referee Michael Oliver gives yellow cards unnecessarily and i followed matches that he officiates and won some bet i placed on yellow cards but after some time i saw that he no longer gives many yellow cards again so i stopped following him up but i mostly predict yellow cards in matches that the both teams are likely of equal strength, those are the matches that produces a lot of yellow cards.

Maybe you do not know the referees well, I'm not professional either, but I've a friend that knows referees well and bets on strict referees for cards count and gets it right most of the time.

Personally I know players better and bet on aggressive players to be booked. In Chelsea, I always bet on Enzo Fernandez to get a card in the match because he's aggressive. When PEPE was at Real Madrid, we always bet high on him to secure a red card or at least a yellow on every tough match and he rarely disappoints us.

I think people bet mostly based on the nature of the match and players involved as against the referees officiating the match.

I've been on the sport bets for long and haven't come across such a betting option. Or maybe I've only been interested in betting on winning.
However, if the card option is part of the betting option, that'd be cool but I don't even know how to take the decision betting on it.
But if I've to, the referee should be the most prior on target because some of them are psycho and fond of flying card. I'll also look out to teams especially when they've been signing in inexperienced players that's not qualified on a specific league.

My answer is No on this but instead what should make me bet on yellow card is the kind of club that would play because there are players in a clubs who are very fund of getting a yellow card on almost all the matches they would play, although some persons might prefer yes on the referee because there are some referees that doesn't joke with issuing card to players on every minor interceptions but to me clubs are the major reason, for example when Manchester City is playing with Chelsea or Aston Villa regardless of the referee there is no how you will not see a yellow card.

I don't consider the referees when betting on cards, matter of fact I don't even keep tabs on them, I know that there are gamblers that know the names of referees and how they operate but I don't really care about all that information. When playing cards I just check the teams that are playing against each other and how many cards they played in their previous matches before I make my selection

If you have never seen it before it means you don’t bet on player props, and probably just bet on who’s going to win and under/over and don’t go for prop betting - and that’s actually a very boring way to bet if you ask me.

I don’t know what bookie you’re using but I just had to take a screenshot or bcgame so you’d see how it looks like - you can even bet on what player you think would get a card.

To be frankly speaking, I can literally also say that ever since I started gambling on sport games, most especially football, I have never actually thought of this very option you just provided above (i.e gambling on red/yellow card simply because of the referee to officiate the match). Because what I have always done is either gambling of the total red or yellow card a match is likely to have at the end of the 90 minutes. Because this very option, I actually don't think it's common on sport betting platforms, or unless it's a new gambling feature that just got implemented amongst the several betting options.  And please if you know a casino that has this betting options, I will be glad to give it a try.

Anytime I bet on cards I always go for the under 1.5 market in first half, I just pick about three to five games only... whenever I plat cards I don't bother about the referees but thinking about it critically It's something that should be considered... understanding that some referees can alter the outcome of a game makes you a wise bettor..in sports betting there's a lot of things that you should consider

I have staked on a bet on red or yellow cards before but basically I didn't predict the game myself I copied from a well known speculator and the games came out right but the fact is I couldn't figure out how exactly he knew how many cards will be on the match or who will get the yellow or red cards, it was one time experience that I couldn't wrap my head around.

Maybe one can study the pattern of a particular referee and know how often he or she realises the red or yellow and on what kind of occasion does it require the card hence one could predict or speculate on cards, it's nice for the fact that it's just a yes or no option.

To be honest, I don't really care about the referee, even if there is cheating, it might only be seen once that the referee is trying to cheat, if it continues, the match could be stopped, I bet on the card if I have watched the match for at least 20 minutes

To keep it simple Charles. The referee and the players have a big role in why most bettors bet on cards. Most referees are too aggressive, they use cards to calm the game when there is tension especially in big matches.

The first time I bet on red card was because of the referee, and the team he was officiating on that day. After he gave the player yellow card, I hard a feeling he might get a red from the referee before the game end, that was when I bet on it and he did give the player a red..Arsenal game, the ref against Myles Lewis Skelly. The quick answer is yes, I do put bets for a yellow and/ or a red card based on who the referee is. Still, it depends on which championship we are talking about and between which teams. However, I don't commonly do this. I bet on cards mostly because the game looks like one that will be tough and crucial, like derbies in most countries.

I am a frequent sports bettor but Ive never betted on a card before, whether it be red or yellow, it has never actually occured to me to be more honest, like I know it's possible to bet on cards, atleast, a friend of mine had once betted on a team getting a yellow card but unfortunately, by the end of the match, no card was handed out on both teams that played so he lost his money...

So it has never really occurred to me to try betting on card myself ever since then since it's not a type of sports betting property that is popular amongst bettor like 1x2 and others.

Betting on cards have nothing to do with the referee because I have not heard about a case where a referee was brutal with issuance of cards. The general way of predicting cards is the importance of the match and how serious the match will be based on the players that will be featured in the match. There are also teams whose meetings always produce many cards because the players give their best to avoid being beaten by certain teams. So cards are predicted based on the teams and how important the matches are for the teams.

The option to bet on the cards the referee shows during the match may appeal to some gamblers, but I personally don't like it. It's okay if you want to bet on something like that, sometimes it's profitable because of the odds offered or you just get lucky. Sports betting especially football matches are quite complex, I mean gamblers are given many betting options according to their wishes instead of just win, lose and draw.

If someone tries their luck in several options, then there is nothing wrong if they try it. But as it should be, the more options you choose, the more budget you will drain even though you actually have the opportunity to get more wins.

Often times have thought about this and it seems too complex to think one can bet on cards either red or yellow used during a match amd come to think of it one can actually achieve  that having studied the both teams that are on to play , it'll be a privilege to predict the outcome knowing fully well that one of those teams will fall victim of either a yellow/red card by the referee.
