With all of the hype surrounding AI, I wonder what impact will it have on the gambling industry? Perhaps, gamblers will experience more fairness and randomness when betting online. I mean, provably-fair casinos already exist. But AI can help improve them in the long run.

I think that artificial intelligence cannot really help to make a nice bet in gambling or it will not make you to profit that money the reason being that, so how many persons has used artificial intelligence to do different kind of things but it it was not working perfectly so even though you are using it to predict gambling or to do anything that has to do with gambling I think about it to have a disadvantages and the disadvantages will be higher than the advantages indecencies that it will be requiring for weekly subscription or monthly subscription and it will not give a perfect result

Artificial intelligence has already had a huge impact on many areas of life, for example: I am talking to a programmer friend. He said that they now constantly use artificial intelligence to write code.
I also notice the influence of artificial intelligence in betting, and because many of my friends who previously relied solely on their experience of sports outcomes and events have now begun to compare their thoughts with the thoughts of AI.

See? This means AI will eventually replace developers/programmers, and even software engineers. It might replace casino staff as well. All in an effort to help reduce costs and increase efficiency. Since AI is regulated, it will only do what it's permitted to do. So if it's integrated in gambling sites, it will only serve as a companion for gamblers and the house itself. Not a "tool" to help anyone cheat and game the system.

We're already seeing some gambling sites with an AI-powered chatbot, so the future is already here. For complete automation, decentralization, and provably-fairness, using a combination of AI and smart contracts would be best. Just my two sats.

for me I've not seen any impact AI will contribute in gambling because AI will not help for prediction in gambling and the AI will not also give you or make you know the club that is going to win so this things are the most things that we are not supposed to include AI in anything that has to do with the gambling, but I don't know the confidence other people have in AI and the what they think that AI can do in gambling, for me gambling is something of risk and it is being controlled by human being not by machine which it will be very difficult for any electronic device to detect the person or the group of people that is going to win in gambling so I can't never depend on AI as a tools to predict gambling perfectly

Well, I don't see how provably fairness could have something to do with artificial intelligence. It does not matter how advanced artificial intelligence gets in the future, most providers (specially those specialized on slots) will continue to keep their games without an option to verify how fair the session is, that is for now reserved to a handful of games developed by casinos, like Stake.

Also, it would be very negative if Artificial intelligence was used to replace software engineers and the staff on casinos, to me people are more reliable than a thinking machine.

I have changed my view on this a little bit. I know that coders have been using AI for a while now. Even before public chatGPT. But that doesn't mean AI is replacing those coders. It can replace some of the coders if they are doing more menial and repetitive code, but it can't handle bigger concepts, or understand specific nuances of something specific. It's using only stuff it has feed to, and sometimes it can't even make sense of that.

When you trust AI to code bigger concepts, you are going to have bugs, and there's no way that a company or their third party code provider can just forward their responsibility to faulty AI. So they won't give too much responsibility to it. And there's least one study that says that exponential growth of AI capabilities has already stopped, and limits of it are near.

If you owned a casino with millions of dollars at stake will you allowed AI? I think it's easier for someone looking for a way to win and make money as a player because they don't manage one. No casino with right memo is going to allow customers use an AI. Maybe for chatting but it will not be allow to risk the company from going bankruptcy, that's one quick way to experience one of you allow an AI to be allowed in the casino except if it's design to be dull.

I see gambling like someone that went to write an examination, only people that read and prepare for it makes it but you can still be prepare for it and not pass the exam. Everything about technological advancement is not just limited to one side. It will make zero sense to ask an to give predictions about performance of a team. If you do, it will likely give you information based on stats and the conditions of the team but what AI doesn't know is what the coach going to do, what to play and some other things. AI has limitations to information they can check, they don't know what's in people's mind and they don't know what human mind is capable of doing next, they can only be used for online casino games and that wouldn't work.

Have we ask ourselves that none of this AI has made an attempt to create a casino prediction AI and make it premium so people can buy it or make it illegal for people to purchase. This is a smart comment but as you know, hardly anybody will understand it. Probably the same guys who bought those magical trading bots that were offered here. I always wondered if the buyers never asked themselves why someone would sell a trading bot if the trading bot was actually profitable. The generated alpha would just be shared until it is approximating a zero margin. Now one thing that is different about AI is that it is not a magic formula being under control of one specific group, in this case the bookmakers. But if AI were to predict results far more reliably than an individual ever could on average, I guess bookmakers would just expand the house edge to a point where margins become profitable for them again. However, predictions in sports markets can't benefit from complex data analysis to a point where predictions could come close to 100% accuracy.

In stock markets it might be slightly different as the wisdom of the crowd could be at work and people agree on shelling points based on whatever a globally acknowledged AI software tells them to do. It would still never be 100% accurate, but I can imagine it could have a relatively stronger effect in stocks than it could in sports. In a football game, nobody can predict whether the goalkeeper of one team gets a red card after 2 minutes. That's nothing the crowd could agree on. Sports come with unexpected disadvantages that can turn the odds upside down. In stock markets that is not the case on the same level.

How do you imagine AI improving fairness and randomness? AI has nothing to do with game outcomes and randomness.
Do you really think that the casino owners really want improved fairness and randomness? Maybe some of them really want this, but most of them would be totally fine, if their casino games aren't totally fair and random.
Maybe AI could help in two things. 1. Handling customer support(so that the casino owners won't have to hire actual people, to do such type of work). 2.Help in creating and programming in-house games(so that the casino owners don't have to rely on third-party game providers).
I can't think of any other ways AI could help the gambling industry. Maybe the AI could also help in the creation of marketing campaigns and advertising, but I don't know how this is going to look.

My thoughts are as you stated: while we can use AI to assist, this doesn't significantly increase our chances of winning. Our chances as players still won't exceed the casino's, even if the casino itself uses AI to operate. I've never used AI as a gambling aid, nor do I know what role AI plays in gambling. But what's clear is that there's no way to win other than relying on luck.
