Do you think positive mindset keeps you winning?

Thinking positively is a good attitude, but it certainly isn't the attitude that makes you win. Those who believe in the law of attraction (I don't)
could argue that being positive attracts good luck into their lives.
I see gambling as a game, where the risk is well rewarded if you win.
I don't believe in abstractions, but in what happens at the gaming table.

Honestly I think law of attraction is very stupid, it makes people ungrateful because they expect they will get anything they thought in their mind, it's why some people choose the instant way or short cut to get what they want (prostitution, having a relationship with grandpa etc).

However in gambling there was no short cut, as much as money you have, you can't change the system.

So, using law of attraction by thinking you will be a gambler who make money from gambling might not work because not everyone can beat the system.

Have came across many people talked about positive mentality or mindset while gambling, and of course it's good to have positive mindset or mentality while gambling but, to what extent would you keep losing to understand that not all time you would keep counting on positive mentality or mindset than drawing a close check of your gambling statics to know that you don't need only positive mindset rather you need strategies to get winning instead of keep losing without adequate planning.

The principle remains luck, even though in betting on football we can make several approaches before betting, such as making an analysis of the team before placing a bet.
I also don't know whether a positive mindset can increase my chances of winning because I almost never experience it when gambling and usually I win more often when luck is on my side.
Gambling is not something that can be predicted accurately because there are times when we also lose momentum to achieve victory even though initially the potential to win could be quite large. Yeah, there are two aspects to this, really.

One is the mentality part of it, that basically means that how the gambler feels is probably the most important.

But there's also the aspect of the odds, the probabilities, etc, and for that, the feelings have nothing relevant to say.

It certainly helps to have a positive attitude, i am convinced that having a positive thought also influences reality in some way, i think we have this power and combined with karma we can give a turning point to our life, like in gambling i believe

I don’t think a positive mindset has ever helped me win in a casino. What helped was more of a detached attitude and being prepared for any outcome. If I know I can easily afford to lose, say, 10 dollars, the game feels lighter and I’m not fixated on winning. Everyone has what it takes to think positive regarding what they want as the potential outcome of a certain decision. if just because of the way you think about a thing it eventually affects the outcome, then people will certainly fail in doing the right thing all because there thought has a way of affecting the outcome of things a certain way.

As a gambler, the only thing that your mindset does to you is that it keeps you in check such that you are not too bothered about things and so you can just let things be the way they are while being ready to accept whatever outcome that presents  itself at the end of the day. positive mindset only helps you to respond to things a certain way and help reduce anxiety, it has no effect on the outcome of a game that is not mindset dependent.

Yes sir you are right. We should always keep a positive mindset. By doing this a person can get rid of many kinds of bad thoughts and the bad mentality that comes after losing.

Whatever mindset you mean, without balance it's easy to fall into dangerous addiction.
If you win often, you want to win more, if you lose you want to recover what you lost and in both cases without a balance you destroy your self-control.

To stay positive minded will help you a lot but sometimes it can also make you lose a lot of money because a positive mindset will make you to become very confident about the game you are betting. I’m not sure it’s even possible to remain a casino player if you’re constantly pessimistic. What’s the point of playing then? People play because they believe and hope that they can win. And not $10–20, but a large amount that, even if it doesn’t become life-changing, can at least solve their immediate important problems. This hope is what makes them play and come back to the casino again and again. A pessimistic mindset simply makes playing impossible.

That may not always be the case.... The truth is that maintaining a positive mindset is good as it makes gamblers not to give up or stop gambling entirely even though the profit may not be coming at that time..  Maintaining a positive mindset isn't what cause addiction amongst gambler, it is rather caused by irresponsible gambling.  And as such when gamblers begin gambling responsibly, while still maintaining a positive mindset, then such gambler may have the chance of being profitable in the long run..
