I'm starting to doubt Aston Villa's ability to win the UEFA Europa League title due to their recent decline in form. In the Premier League, Aston Villa have only won one of their last five matches. In the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie, Aston Villa will be visiting Lille, whose form has begun to improve. So, I'm starting to doubt Aston Villa's ability to win this tournament.

Lille performance isn’t that good as you think, they are also struggling to win their games even in their respective league. I’m not doubting Aston Villa ability to beat Lille away from home, even though their current performance isn’t promising enough against any team. Lille might have the home advantage winning this game but remember that Aston villa have a good squad to beat them as well, I believe that they will give their best to go far in this tournament.

Considering the europa league platform, Roma can be considered as the favorite. They are very serious about winning the Europa League title. Roma vs Bologna is the hardest game to predict. You're right about Roma defeat Bologna in the last game, but don't you see the previous h2h? Bologna beaten Roma at the end of last year, and they were also getting a tie against Roma before last game. So, i think it's obvious Bologna has same chance to win this game.
The bad news is that Roma misses so many players due to suspension and injury. Recently, they're also losing Kone, which obviously weakening their midfield.

This is why i think it's dumb to pick a single sided bet caused it's not gonna work. I'd rather take a safe bet double chance Bologna or Roma. Whoever wins the game, i take my money back with some profit.
Hopefully, one of them will win the game. Playing two legs seem much safer for this game.

Two teams from same league facing each other will only result in a draw since they are Italian teams, they know themselves better and we can't tell if Bologna will allow Roma beat them again and even knock them out of the Europa League. Roma's energy and how they play these days is very fast and I like how the attacking department is taking the fight to the opposition defenders especially the man called Donyell Malen, he has been on another level and I haven't seen him play the way he's doing currently, so for that I'd stand with Roma on this one.
Lille doesn't look like a stronger side but still they can change the outcome of this game to be in their favor, a stubborn side that doesn't have much to say they are the favorite against Aston Villa but holding the bal and frustrating the visitors can give them a chance and if they can get a goal Aston Villa becomes desperate, I'd go for a draw on this encounter.

Betting on this is so hard, like few ones such as Forrest and Lyon may look like bets to make but in general these are not really that much of a huge gap teams to me. I get that odds are saying something else of course, Like Stuttgart is seen as favourites, and Lyon seen as not so much etc etc, but at the same time most of the games are pretty close to each other.

Betting on these will not be easy and I think it's going to be very difficult to handle on the long run and not be that great. I get that it is not that understandably focused at the moment we should just focus on how to get a better return one way or another. I think the match between Bologna and Roma could be quite boring. Roma have a lot of injured attacking players, so their attack may be weaker, although in the last matches this absence has not been so noticeable. Bologna have also gone through a difficult period, and despite the fact that they managed to win their recent games, firstly those victories were against weaker teams, and secondly almost all of those wins ended with a 1–0 score, which means their attack is also rather weak. Considering that Roma have a fairly solid defense, I think this match could be boring and there may be few goals. I feel Roma has the quality to win the game than Bologna. Four games are underway right now at different stadiums, with just Porto able to score a goal against Stuttgart, while Bologna vs Roma and Lille vs Aston Villa are balanced with no action. Real Betis is also doing a good job and has better control of the ball, but no goal has been scored by any team.
 
First-leg games are going to have a good impact on teams race for a spot in the quarterfinals. Lille and Bologna are facing the biggest favourite for the title, while Real Betis also has a good chance, but to go through, they need to have a good performance in these games. Betis is the one that I am expecting more than what they are showing. Not many people are talking about them but they did alright last season and they are looking alright this season so far and I have a sneaky feeling that we are going to see them do a fine job.

UEFA competitions always have different levels of entertainment. Yesterday, most home teams were dominating, and they did an impressive job, but today, right now, 8 games are on the cards, with 4 games dominated by away teams and 3 in a draw. 1. AZ Alkmaar has a 1-goal lead.

Both Italian sides are playing with a defensive strategy and have no action, but in another big game, Lille vs Aston Villa, at the end of the first half, no goal was scored by any team. This is also going to be a good game, but as the first half ended, now expectations are high for a draw. Porto is only with good performance and leading against Stuttgart by 1 - 2.

Rayo Vallecano and Strasbourg are also leading and have a good chance of winning their games on road this could be a big boost for them.

This is the kind of performance you should expect when two teams are trying so hard to avoid making any mistake that could cost them goals, the game has not been as interesting as it should be because both teams haven't created any good chances of scoring goals but don't be surprised to see them scoring each other during the second half because the team coaches will make changes in the second half and goals are expected to come in. Aston Villa is looking more dangerous in the game but before the end of first half Lille made an attempt so more is expected to happen in the second half.
