It’s hard to say which team is currently in better form, possibly Nottingham even looks better based on their recent performances. But I think in this particular match the home stadium will play a significant role, because Aston Villa performs much better at home than away. Of course, for Nottingham this is not only about the title but also about the fight for a place in the Champions League. Still I consider Aston Villa a very strong home team that is capable of beating Nottingham. I checked the odds and saw that Aston Villa to qualify for the final odds 2.06, I think it could be worth taking a small bet.

But Aston Villa have lost their last three matches, it could be a loss of form, or maybe just a coincidence. Nottingham on the other hand, are doing the exact opposite, they’ve been winning all of their recent games. Aston Villa really need a win today, even a draw would not be enough for them. I think they are capable of beating Nottingham at home at Villa Park, the only thing that worries me is that they’ve started losing too often lately.

Tonight I believe Emery need to change whichever plans he had last week to a new plan because if not they'll concede more than they did last week. Freiburg has scored and conceded relatively few goals in the Bundesliga. They will go into the Braga match aiming to score a lot, as they have no other option. A one-goal difference would take them to extra time, but they are determined to finish the job in 90 minutes. This year in the Bundesliga, they are competing for promotion to the Conference League. Winning this cup would take them to the Champions League.

Nottingham Forest's performance has been great recently, although the start of the season was not good, they have made a great comeback in the last matches. 1-0 is not a significant advantage let us be honest. Nottingham Forest managed to scrap a narrow win at their home. It will be different this time around. For now, I wont talk about home advantage because if the match was to be held at Nottingham Forest home, ill firmly go for Aston Villa to qualify. It will be a tactical battle between the managers. Nottingham have had a spectacular comeback under Vitor Pereira and are doing very well. They won their first Europa League match and if they can eliminate Aston Villa today, they can win the final as well. If Forest win the final, they will be in the Champions League next year.
