This finals reminds me of the final between Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen in the last Europa League finals, Bayer Leverkusen was in good form right firm the beginning of the competition till they got to the finals and all eyes were on them to win but that very day Atalanta destroyed them and Ademola Lookman scored a hat trick to help his side lift the trophy. All eyes are on Aston Villa to win but I won't be surprised if they get defeated in the finals.

Oh man! You just struck a chord by mentioning that game. That match cost a lot of punters money. Many persons were deceived by Leverkusen's fine form and went for a Leverkusen win. But I hope this one won't go the same way. I really do want Aston Villa to win. English teams have been finalists in a row, but they haven't won it back-to-back. Both teams have already prepared well for that final match as we have seen Freiburg enjoy a big win against RB Leipzig in their German league yesterday. On the other hand, Aston Villa, who are in fourth place in the Premier League, defeated the very experienced Liverpool to secure fourth place, so we can understand that through so much hard work of these two teams, they are preparing themselves so much for that upcoming UEFA Europa League final match. Even so, I personally believe that according to the team performance and experience, the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League trophy will ultimately go to Aston Villa.

TBH, I’d rather just bet on live games to reduce the risk.

There’s no doubt Aston Villa have been pretty consistent and solid. But in a final, any team that gets there will try everything not to lose, they’ll park the bus, use every trick tactically, and just try to make it as hard as possible for Villa to score or find rhythm.

So for this final, I still think there’s a decent chance it could end in a draw in normal time, and Aston Villa might take it through penalties.

Freiburg isn't an easy team like you said, because if they're easy they wouldn't be in the finals. Any team in the finals shouldn't be underestimated. Freiburg isn't an easy team like you said, because if they're easy they wouldn't be in the finals. Any team in the finals shouldn't be underestimated. However, there's no doubt that Aston Villa will win the finals because they're looking strong and ready to win the league couple with the experience of their coach.

Nothing but the truth, because any team makes it through the group stage are absolutely not to be underestimated. Sometimes football can change. I was checking the table on Livescore and it looks like 5 English teams are going to qualify for next year's Champions League so, yes, Aston Villa are already qualified, no matter what happens in the next (and last) match. And Liverpool qualified too because they have 59 points while Bournemouth, which is behind them, has 55.

OK, we all agree that Aston Villa is the favorite in the final, but it is wrong to write off Freiburg just because they are a little worse in the German league.
After all, while Aston Villa is currently fourth in the national championship, Freiburg is seventh in the German league, which is not such a big difference.
Freiburg have played some very good and efficient games in this competition, such as high wins against Brago, Celta or Genk and will not be an easy opponent for Aston Villa.
