This is no longer a current news, like this was already made known to people even before the league is half played, it was certain that it's Five English premier League teams that will make it to the UEFA Champions League next season, that was the more reason Chelsea was trying to win the FA Cup against Manchester City, had it been they won it, then end 6 or 7 in the English premier League table, then Aston Villa win the Europa League final they would stand a chance of playing in the UEFA Champions League comes next season, but instead they messed it all up.

I think they will win too, the PL is at a higher level than the Bundesliga and I think 4th in the PL should beat 7th in the Bundesliga.

With Aston Villa current performance in the Premier League and Europa League this season they are the favourite to win the trophy tonight, since the beginning of the season i believe that they are the favourite because they are the team with a consistent performance in the competition, Nottingham Forest is also one of the favourites but they got knocked out by Aston Villa and that makes Aston the favourite to win this trophy, I did not underestimate Freiburg but Aston Villa had more qualities players than them.

Aston Villa are clearly the favorites and had it been it's not a final then it would have been lot easier for them. But being a final makes it unpredictable and the fact that they are playing it in a neutral ground makes it an open game.
German teams like this are kinda good at playing games like this so even if Aston Villa is the favorites I won't be surprised if Freiburg surprises us.

Aston Villa can't underestimate Freiburg if they really want to win this trophy. Emery has got a good record in competitions like this so that's a reason why I trust them to win and also having a better squad is another advantage for them.
