While bitcoin had a 400% gain from 2017 ATH (20k x 90 k now)
Ok, you had a great gain if you bought XMR in January 2025... If you were holding long term, lost a lot of money compared to other coins and assets.
I don't think these are the parameters on which to base such a judgment. For example, Ethereum is at #2, even though it never touched that level again after the ATH in 2021. Probably a pure loss for many holders. Here, holders even get a profit through staking, although I'm not sure how real the profit is, considering the low and on-hold value of ETH. But, we probably shouldn't derail the Splash.tf thread with such discussion. |

OP can you tell us what is going on with Bitcoin reserves on Splash exchange? I can see currently there is only 0.00327283 BTC available, and situation is not much better with ethereum. Even after manually testing myself I got the same low amounts of bitcoin available for exchanging.   |

We have reduced fees for swaps to XMR to incentivize swaps going the other way Good to know this, I can see current fees for exchanging BTC to XMR are now around 2%, and that is much better than rates I found on other exchanges. I can understand why some people sell monero for bitcoin if we know that monero reached ath, but I am expecting more growth later this year. |

Most likely not in the forseeable future. Dash isn't really a true privacy coin, the transactions are public and transactions are private only in the mixing sense (like Bitcoin + CoinJoin). XMR is the only one that is private by default and the one we like the most. |

Should be fixed, let us know if there are still issues I checked again, but "Withdraw" button and pressing enter still don't work when I copy/paste my Ethereum address from Coinbase Wallet. It's the version that uses uppercase and lowercase letters checksum, that shouldn't be an issue right? Or does it want it only in lowercase? There doesn't seem to be an event listener on the "Withdraw" button or any POST form for the address field, so nothing actually goes to the server when the button is clicked.  |

I compared September 24, 2025, January 4, 2026 and February 17, 2026, and don't really see much of a change. But it's hard to attribute exact values to fluctuating exchange rates. |

I compared September 24, 2025, January 4, 2026 and February 17, 2026, and don't really see much of a change. But it's hard to attribute exact values to fluctuating exchange rates. There has been a drastic decrease in XMR liquidity compared to LoyceV's snapshots, before there were almost 50 XMR, now there's less than a fraction... BTC, ETH and DAI reserves remain at the average of other days, only XMR has seen a drastic change. Perhaps to increase liquidity, more people should swap coins with splash or they should contract liquidity funds so that they can hold custody of the assets (I don't know how this works in detail). There must be some solution to the current low liquidity... |

We have not removed a single satoshi from the liquidity, it's only been increasing from the fees |
