Splash administration, please help. I haven't received two exchanges yet. I created requests on your website for ETH and DAI, and where wallet's gas has run out. What should I do?

They have a contact form on their website, probably the best way for them to see it. Wink

Splash has an escrow  secured by @SFR10, right? So even if Splash couldn't solve the problem, surely the requester would receive instructions on how to receive the negotiated amounts (as long as it doesn't exceed the secured amount). In any case, I'm glad everything got resolved.

They do:

I'd like to inform everyone that @splashed has contacted me regarding my escrow services and I'll be holding a certain amount of money on their behalf.

Destroyed sounds too much. Their business could still be going well despite some competitors being ahead. Both sageswap and b1exch support more crypto and runs promotions in the forum, so I'm not surprised they have more traction.

On the other hand, I think it's possible some no-kyc exchange would not want to be the most popular one and want to keep the traction at bay, because we all know it will get the most heat from the watch dogs.

I wouldn't say they have been destroyed by competition. I think it's more to do with what is in the reserve pools. splash.tf has much lower reserves compared to the others, but it doesn't mean they are not doing any business
Sageswap and b1exch just happen to be a little more exposed and well known due to the ads.

I’d stick with destroyed when looking at the 24h volume on B1exch, which averages around $100k a day. You can assume that Sageswap has the same or more, while Splash only has $3k? Those are devastating numbers

Like I said, look at the reserves or pool information, the other two have way more reserves than splash.tf. You can't expect someone convert 1 BTC to 200 XMR yet what is in the reserve is just 3 XMR.
For example Sageswap has 400 XMR, b1exch has about 414 XMR, splash.tf has 3 XMR Do the math and see why that gap is there.

@splashed, you need an urgent reaction.
Someone reported the Metamask splash.tf domain as harmful. It is necessary to request a delisting from the blocklist
It appears on Chrome and Opera, while Firefox and Brave open the site normally.

Perhaps it would be best to remove MetaMask.   Wink

removing from that list is slow and the accuracy of MetaMask blocklist has become poor.

It is possible to open an issue on github about it

It is common to see people requesting unblocking websites.

I think it would be better for splashed to be more active on the forum, even though this ANN has been inactive for about ~1 Month without activity, things like this can happen and and also to let forum users know that everything is fine.

Since they don't have a CM representative, I think it would be better if they logged into BTT every 5 days. They haven't accessed the forum since April 5th.

I am using Firefox and I am getting the same message as you so I guess its not only restricted to Chrome and Opera.

I honestly don't care what stupid metamask wallet is doing, but it might be a good idea to ask them for removal.
There is no way anyone is going to be protected from phishing just because of metamask, and it's silly to have it enabled all the time because they have a bunch of false positives.
The idea was excellent as a prevention against phishing, but it came down to the fact that most often, the competition makes such reports. Almost every smaller exchanger or mixer goes through this.

Possibly, now I noticed that the Metamask extension on Firefox reports some kind of problem to me, it's obviously inactive.

The idea was excellent as a prevention against phishing, but it came down to the fact that most often, the competition makes such reports. Almost every smaller exchanger or mixer goes through this.

A few months ago there was a false report of a mixer with strong altcoinstalks  presence.

I opened an issue in github and was able to remove the "false positive " in metamask

A few weeks later, that same mixer made an exit scam.

I do t know if metamask was "lucky " but reporting it correctly or if they have some good algorithm that catch a high probability of scam

I'm afraid we'll have to leave it to the services' responsibility to erase such issues on their own.

Because if we keep playing representative and some of these services get an idea of exit scamming (Not you Splash, you're great! Most of the swap volume today is from me) then we are going to be the ones left holding the bag, to put it figuratively.

PS. Splash if you're reading this, I accidentally sent 2x 0.25 ETH instead of 0.25 ETH in my order - if you can exchange that too, that would be great! Handled by support, thanks

they would have probably removed it themselves if you hadn't done that.
and they would have exit scammed regardless of being flagged by metamask or not.

I do t know if metamask was "lucky " but reporting it correctly or if they have some good algorithm that catch a high probability of scam
isn't the blacklist built based on users reports? i don't think metamask goes around the internet scanning for scam sites, or do they?
