Even when I lose money in gambling, I dont feel like gambling is affecting my life negatively. Maybe I havent gambled enough, maybe I have good self control or I am good at sticking to budget, maybe my budget isnt enough to feel negative consequences, maybe I havent had that bet that will really make me feel deeply disappointed, but for gambling to affect life, a gambler must put a lot of effort to achieve that. I have a set of character that wont allow me to use all the money I have on something (not exactly for gambling), and surrounded myself with people, that will prevent me from doing a risky or stupid move that causes enormous financial usage.

This crossed my mind as I was reading another bad news in our country about the bad effects of gambling. So I'm asking fellow gamblers here,

It's just a self-reflection on my end, again, I felt sad that there are young gamblers taking someone's life because of their addiction. And then they disposed of the body just like that, but they surrendered to the authorities after a couple of days that lead to the discovery of the body of the driver. As for my experience, probably the worst for me, is maxing out my credit cards or borrowing money that it takes me sometime to pay. So it's hard to understand what's going in the mind of this 3 persons when they unalive a hapless man and get his money and then gamble.

I've never felt this way myself, because I try not to get carried away. Perhaps some of my losses in the past have prevented me from becoming addicted to gambling. But I knew a friend who literally lost his share of the business after several years of gambling addiction. His family broke up because of his losses. Maybe this man's example also served as a warning to me to gamble responsibly.

I've been self-evaluating my gambling behavior multiple times. Well, sometimes it negatively affects my productivity, but sometimes I feel it's just one of my unproductive pastimes. For sure, if I could turn my gambling time into reading or working out, my life could be better... But you know it's humane to do stupid stuff

I think the negative feeling arises when you spend your time and money more than you can afford. Thus, the key is still "balanced lifestyle" and the good old "self-control" so you can stay mostly positive.

Actually gambling has never affected my life negatively. I am always self confident and don't allow my emotion take a bigger part of me. I gamble with what I can afford to lose not betting aggressively or allow greed to affect me. And I will urge everyone to follow thesame route. Many people keep complaining about being addicted but I don't see that as anything because I don't take gambling seriously. Although at a point i nearly fell for it but I took  a break and check myself and realized that I was gambling above my budget then I retract my step till now I never felt the urge to gamble aggressively or out of greed.

Gambling actually affected my life negatively. Maybe, it will be better to say that I was addicted to gambling due to the fact that my activities in gambling was exactly the activities of an addicted gambler. I would skip meals simply because I want to use the money for gambling. I will not buy clothes because I was hoping to win from gambling and then buy more clothes. I was not spending on anything reasonable except gambling since I felt that after spending I will be left with nothing but with gambling I will have more to spend and some for reserve. This was deep to the point that my tuition fee and money for textbooks were used for gambling. The only thing I didn't do was selling my properties for the purpose of gambling. It was after much losses that I came to realize that I would do better without gambling and instead of thinking that gambling is an investment there are better things I could do to generate money other then gambling for the purpose of making more money. Today, I am doing better without gambling. Although, I still gamble but this is for fun and not to solve demands or make money.

If we think deeper, when we win, it affects our finances positively, therefore it makes life more positive and vice versa. A loss affects our finances badly and makes life more negative at that moment. At that moment or much longer it depends on the loss... who gambles only with money that they can afford to lose, these are moments, everyone else faces different (very possibly more severe) consequences.

So relax & have some fun with money you can afford to lose... if you can't afford to lose, simply move away from gambling & focus on important stuff. If you do everything right, you will have money for gambling in the future...

Every time I lose, yeah, it sucks,  but I always find myself wanting to gamble again. That urge is always there. The good thing now is I’ve learned how to control myself.

Gambling’s really just fun for me. Some people spend on movies or expensive stuff , for me, it’s gambling.
Even when I lose, I just treat it like an expense for something I enjoy doing. And when I win? That’s just a bonus, man.

Gambling doesn't really affect my life; it used to affect my mood, but now it's just a game.
If we let it affect us, we're ruined. If you think gambling is the best thing that could happen to you, you need to change course immediately!

Yes, it does when I am on a losing streak. I mean, I always expect an RTP to happen, which is why I hate it when I am losing something like 3000 while I am only betting 1 per roll. Somehow, in the middle of that or before it ends, there should be a giving back, and I hate it when I am expecting, which I should not do.

When those things happen, I get stressed out and hate myself for why I kept to deposit money when I know that it is not my day. Regrets will soon come, and that's when I get unproductive in my work.

I have never heard of stories where people are killed because of the desire to gamble, I often come across stories where people with drug addictions resort to robbery for drugs, but I have never heard of such a thing about gambling. I think that crimes will be committed, and the reasons that push people to do this are different, but it seems to me that gambling addiction can be controlled more easily, because you do not have an unbearable craving for using some substances and it can be dealt with much easier. Those who have lost a lot of money will regret it, but you can stop and you can pay off your debts.

Talking about the negative affect to my life, that was make my life worst and feel bad to my family. I can not face them directly for some months but I am not run away from the problem and try to search for the way to solved. I am lucky that my family helped me and pull me to my real life and besides me to solve the problem. Not taking too long, I can live without gambling problem and although I now back to gambling, I can control myself. I always remember what happened to me in the past and that is my precious lesson not to repeat it again.

The only negative affect was that i was very-very tired.
The common gambler has no problems with the game, i know lots of people, who bet time to time, who bet on big matches, who play slots a bit. No one of them has no problems - they are clever enough to spend small sums  for fun, and few gamblers who are getting stable profit from gambling - have problems with the time and, possible, they looks strange for other people, who don`t know that they are gamblers.

Well lately I have been thinking about it and I have taken measures to stop such happening again. Anytime we gamble with or without objective we have a really high chance of losing money and this is something most of us overlook. It is a big error to overlook the amounts spent in gambling as a few calculations in the end can show us what we have lost or missed. In a very simplistic way of controlling what we are doing just check your wallet before a gambling session and then after the gambling session ends, you will come to conclusion, most times you will be disappointed and wish you didn't. This is not advice to stop gambling but to be very careful about it.

Sometimes yes especially if play a little longer above my allowed screen time due to my eye condition.

Too much gambling makes my eye irritated and teary due to the dry eyes symptoms of my eyes. Those gambling excitement sometimes makes me forget on when to stop because I’m enjoying it.

It was in my early years of gambling that I had such feelings.  It that stage I had the mentality that gambling was an alternative source of income. At one time I gambled with all I had in my account because I believed that a win will make me rich. The game turned out wrong and i had to struggle to survive.

Many responsible gamblers in the world are enjoying their gaming activities. Stories of gambling addicts going to the extra mile to fund their unhealthy habits are reminders that overdoing things can be harmful. For someone to go to the extent of killing someone because of gambling, it's the highest form of wickedness.  My assumption is that such a person is a drug addict or has other mental or psychological problems.
