The concept that there is no good side of gambling has a tendency of being associated by the people who have largely experienced losses. Gambling is highly contradictory as the quote implies. As a person continues to lose, it is not hard to imagine the bad aspect and deem gambling as evil. Nevertheless, as soon as one gains enough money even once, his or her attitude tends to shift and the attitude towards gambling becomes more positive. As a matter of fact, gambling is an entertaining experience as well as risky. The important thing is to know that it is more of probability and not certainty. Any person that wants to gamble should be prepared mentally in case of eventualities of loss and must not form an addiction that will ruin their life and finances.

Correct, those who often win in gambling they would say just the opposite, that " there is no bad side of gambling"  

Personally, I would not say that gambling is good or bad, it is actually both and that's why I am saying this, because it depends on the gambler how he plays and gambles and handles his money. If he is disciplined, the luck will favor him, and he will gain more wins than losses, and in this case, he wouldn't develop such a sort of negativity for gambling.

Most of the posts I have come across here in the gambling section has always centered on negativity about gambling. If it's not about gambling making someone go broke, it will be about one negativity or the other. Sometimes reading the comments in those posts scares me, because of how some people describe their horrifying gambling experiences. This made me to come up with this post to ask this important question; Is gambling really that bad? Are there no good effects of gambling on people? Gambling can't just be all bad all the time. Well if you think it's all bad, why are you still gambling?

Nothing is absolutely bad in this world, not even gambling. Gambling of course have a positive effect but unfortunately people abuse gambling to its high extent. The high rate of this abuse is the reason why the negative aspect of gambling overweight the positive and it's the same reason why most of the discussion here is center on the negative side of gambling. People now gamble for survival instead of having fun that it's designed for. Gambling keeps us entertained when we are bored but majority of us fail to see the fun side of gambling because we are gambling to become rich instead of playing for entertainment.

It all depends on how you look at gambling. To be frank gamble has helped Many from poverty just as it has turned millionaire to poverty too, gamble can make and mars you. To good side is that young people are using it to pass time as they wait for good jobs, gambling pays bills, on my occasion when I have no where to borrow gambling is my only option and it has delivered me many times. To be honest, when I play, I also think of it as a source of money and fortunately, I win a good amount of money most of the time. But I always try to follow one thing, that is, I have to be satisfied with the amount I win, if I am not satisfied with it, then I will not be able to keep that amount of win. So when I see that my deposit amount is in profit by 20-30% or more, I try to convince myself that I should stop gambling and withdraw the entire amount and later deposit again and enjoy gambling. And most of the time I do this, that is why on average my profit is more than my loss. There are both good and bad sides to gambling, it depends on the individual person which site they enjoy.

Rich people don't gamble to make a profit and that is why they seems gambling as entertainment, I believe that gambling is all about understanding and therefore, gambling for entertainment will make you to be free from depression, but if you gamble to make a profit from gambling, it's clear that if you gamble in such way you will be depressed if you, and it's what leads people to say there's no good side in gambling

I think you are just only stating the negative effect in gambling,. Gambling has it good side and bad side.  Definitely one will surely lose in gambling that is why one must be prepared to gamble with the amount that can be afford to lose. If I mention the beneficial and harmful aspects of gambling in the context of my country, then I would say that in the context of my country, gambling has no beneficial aspects, rather everything that gambling has is harmful. Most of the people in my country who participate in gambling mainly participate in gambling to become rich in a short time. They are a good sides of gambling but people will not say it and make emphasis about it because they have always been seeing it as a default right they must enjoy from it, but when they have some challenges while using the gambling platform, you begin to hear a lot of contradicting agitation about casino's and gambling, while not knowing that most of these are caused by their inability to understand what is expected of them from using a casino.

One of the positive aspects I think about gambling is that it provides opportunities for lucky people to get jobs and earn income by joining casino staff, while another is the profits earned by players.

For example, in a case that was once discussed, someone managed to win big at gambling and was able to save their parents, which I think is another positive aspect of gambling.

The reason why the negative aspects of gambling are more visible is because there are more cases of people who are addicted to gambling and end up ruined, but as you said, it is their inability to understand what is expected of them when using a casino.

Don’t limit the good side of gambling to entertainment alone. I know that the core objective of every gambler is to get entertained and have fun but there are other games I could have played without gambling to also get entertained and have fun but the reason why I chose gambling for example is that gambling can also bring money to my pocket.

Although that should not be my focus as a gambler but if we are to mention the good side of gambling we must also consider that gambling can bring some cash into our pockets which is also something you should see as a fun of its own. I call whatever money that is made through gambling a reward, a reward for the efforts you made staking and having fun gambling.
