while what you are saying is entirely true, we also need to consider the fact that there are people who have more endurance whenn it comes to alcohol intake and influence. some are able to maintain a max level of control of themselves even after taking consuming alcohol. and you cannot compare these set of people to individuals with light brains and are easily influenced by alcohol. the latter even after alcohol intake can still make informed decisions, sometimes they can even end up making even more informed decisions at that state.
