Maybe for clubs like Sporting, Benfica and Porto it's not main trophy, but for club like Vitoria it's really big thing. When comparing the two team, almost everyone will pick Benfica as his/her favorite but this is a cup game and most time surprise like this happens. Recently, such still happens between Macclesfield and Crystal Palace. Imagine the difference between the two teams, Crystal Palace is far better than Macclesfield but Macclesfield won Crystal Palace  with 2 goals to 1.

After watching both semifinals, I already predicted about this final because I was sure that it's going to be having surprise with Vitoria Guimaraes which was doing impressive job, they beat Sporting CP in first semifinal, their comeback was amazing same happened in this final as they scored two later goals and clinched trophy, Braga lost penalty as well.

Braga was clearly bookies favourite because they were doing good and have enough space to beat Vitoria Guimaraes, but now they are already champions of this cup with now just few days left in start of games newly cup winners are going to be entertained league leaders Porto at home, this could be interesting game for them.

When comparing the two team, almost everyone will pick Benfica as his/her favorite but this is a cup game and most time surprise like this happens. Recently, such still happens between Macclesfield and Crystal Palace. Not everyone betting in favour of Benfica would consider the game to be a Cup game hence Benfica having to perform less of it's expectations against the opponent. But from how we have seen games unfold unexpectedly even in other Cup games like the FA cup where the defending champions lost to one of the least teams like Macclesfield, it makes me thinking of avoiding some of these Cup games in my bet.

It may be difficult for Porto to come back from behind and win as Santos Mourinho may want to harden his defense so as to go away with such early goal.

Can you compare league cup with champions or europa cup? So coach can use his less superior team to play a main league if the team has champions or europa to play in mid week. Not only did they beat Porto, but they also won the championship. And this coming from the current 7th place team in the top league. So, even with half the matches played, there's still a lot to see. It's good that the big teams take care and prepare better; this table can still change.

Well, I understood your point. They may be weak when comparing them with Porto and Sporting but looking at the own league they aren't weak sitting on the 3rd position.

Braga needed this cup as much as Guimaraes. Although they are sitting at 5th position on the table and this only enable them to play for Europa Conference League qualifier. This is why they are more eager to win as they beat Benfica to qualify for the final. But luck was against them as they miss out a penalty at 90+11th minutes. If they had score this penalty, it may have turn the game around in their favor.
