Lech Poznan performance last night was surprising after they lost the first leg from home but they were ready to correct the mistake they made by coming out to score 2 goals in the first half but everything changed when Lech Poznan player helped Shakhtar Donetsk to score their own goal it changed whet was going to end in their favour to hurt them following the first leg victory of Shakhtar Donetsk away against Lech Poznan. Without the away victory there was no way Shakhtar Donetsk would have qualified for the quarter finals after their unexpected decline in performance but the own goal scored by the Lech Poznan's player gave Shakhtar Donetsk the easy qualification.

5 out of the 8 teams participating in the Quarter-final matches are in one of the 5 top leagues currently. That show how Conference League is turning to be as important as Europa League.
Samsunspor failed to continue playing and were kicked by Rayo Vallecano which will face AEK Athens. Maybe not the hardest team in the remaining ones but this should motivate them to advance further.

That ending was really surprising for me and it must be the same for most people.    Samsunspor really managed to win in Spain despite its being a much tougher match for them.

Really if only they were able to score another goal... Unlucky for them but it's not only related to luck of course. They should have been better at defending at home first. Then maybe who knows they might have been in the quarter finals!

Rayo Vallecano didn’t expect Samsunspor to be this serious in the game, because they thought it was a home game for them, so they would have the opportunity of winning, but the reverse was the case, as Samsunspor still got a red card in the game, but still worked hard. Even though they lost on aggregate, the main concern is that they tried their best to change the situation, but it was more than their strength. Congratulations to the shakhtar Donetsk for successfully making it to the next round of the Europa conference league and also avoiding extra time against Lech Poznan, it shows how strong the polish side was in both encounters. It's quite scary that the next candidate for shakhtar is a Dutch team, some Dutch teams are usually difficult to play against, I don't know if shakhtar are going to be knocked out into the next round but am sure they would actually struggle when they face AZ Alkmaar whom I think is far more better than shakhtar, I think it's going to be an interesting game anyway, let's see who will go through.

It's quite an interesting game if you ask me, seeing the Dutch side face one of the best teams from Eastern Europe, both teams were quite impressive in their previous games respectively before getting to this round and I can't really tell who might be favourites because both teams are seemingly at the same level at the moment, I don't believe AZ Alkmaar has any edge over the Ukrainian team, Az Alkmaar aren't what they used to be a couple of years ago so I can't really vouch for the Dutch team, all I can say is whichever team makes it through to the next round actually deserves it.

Truth be told I actually agree with you it a very balanced matchup and both teams have shown good form to get to this stage, so it is not easy to call. AZ Alkmaar do not really have that same dominance or sharp edge they had a few years back, so it is fair not to see them as clear favourites. At the same time, the Ukrainian side has also proven they can compete at this level, so it really comes down to who performs better on the day and it is one of those games where small details will decide it, and whoever goes through will definitely have earned it. I also think mentality and experience in these kinds of knockout games will play a big role but sometimes it is not just about quality, but how well a team handles pressure, takes their chances, and stays focus throughout the match. If either side loses focus even for a moment, it could be the difference between going through or getting knocked out.

The biggest factor for me was that this 3-0 lead completely changed the balance of the second leg. AEK's danger now won't end if they netted 3 goals at home. They will also have to fight to keep a clean sheet in 2nd leg. This mean they will have to fight to keep their heads up and Rayo will have the perfect opportunity to exploit the gap that will be created behind them with their counterattack

Is been long I saw Crystal Palace play a better football and still win with a clean sheet, it was a good game for the players tonight. Although playing against Fiorentina and getting a win shouldn't be something to celebrate that much because they have been weak the whole season both in and outside of their league, Fiorentina need to force more on one thing and that's to stay off the relegation zone but the celebration must go on after all is been long they won with this score line, lack of consistency have been their thing and getting this win can maybe motivate them in their next game in the EPL before visiting Fiorentina, let's see how the week would be like for Palace.

Fiorentina is indeed weak this season. They started to improve lately but they are far from their previous form. Their defeat today against Crystal Palace is not surprising indeed. Three goals will make it easy for Crystal Palace to conclude the second leg away.
In the other matches, the results were large too. With 2 and 3 goals difference by the hosting teams, their games in the away matches will be less stressing.
AZ Alkmaar and Strasbourg surprised me with their weak performances. It is not an unexpected thing to lose but with two goals difference and more that's a bad failure.
