Will Crystal Palace be able to win this game in the second half and being home the trophy because from my observations in the first half Rayo is playing pretty good and created more chances of scoring than Palace. The problem with Rayo is that no clinical finish to put them ahead of Palace. The second half will start in no time, I hope that Palace will make substitutes that will make the game be in their favour because I bet on them to win.

Palace is leading by 1 goal, though it is not enough but it can get the job done if Rayo do not score till full time. I was expecting Palace to win conference league with at least a two goal margin. Who would have thought that the first half will end goalless. I'm guessing that many football fans bet this game to end with 3 goals and above. To our greatest disappointment we can only expect a goal.

I expected honesty that the two teams will score at least a goal before the end of the game but Rayo Vallecano failed to do so although they dominated the match since the beginning. Obviously their dominance is relative because they didn't create many opportunities and their attack line failed to score.
We are ten minutes away from the final whistle and aside from the many yellow cards given, I don't see any chance for Vallecano and Crystal Palace is getting closer from the title.

Well the same style of play you dislike just won them their first European trophy, Congratulations to Crystal Palace. I won't fail to acknowledge Jean Mateta cause it was his goal that made it possible for Crystal Palace to win the trophy. Vallencano tried but they couldn't attack enough to equalize.

 All the English teams that participated in a final of an European competition this season has won it, remaining Arsenal, it makes me wonder if it's a sign that Arsenal would also win there's when they meet PSG during the weekend. The second English club secured a UEFA trophy this season with a match that was not very interesting, but Crystal Palace still did a good job and had a winner in the second half. Rayo Vallecano also did a good job, but their attack was not effective, which is needed at this level.
Now all eyes are on Arsenal. Can they take the third trophy of this season for the Premier League and have a historic achievement because this could be the first time any league will enjoy three trophies today? The game was mostly boring, but the end was good enough once I was sure they were going to have extra time, but Crystal Palace's goal gave them the win now.

The Crystal Palace coach is doing what he feel is right for him, he wanted to win the trophy for the team and that was why he asked them to sit back and protect the only goal they scored, and they stick to their plan which had make their dream comes true because they won the game 1-0 after 90 minutes.

Super boring game though, but in this case it was kind of what I expected. Crystal Palace is not quite the explosive team and Rayo Vallecano would play it safe, but I like to see defensive teams getting crushed. They wait and wait, never seriously push, then concede a goal and are done.

I see something similar coming for the Champions League game. Arsenal will try to defend for as long as they can and once they concede a goal, it is game over. I don't think there chances would be very big once they fall behind.

Rayo still had quite a bit of time but they are so busy with their defensive game plan but the clock just runs out. Freiburg in the European League same thing, what a horror game for a Europa League final. So much defense that there was no action at all last week. Hopefully, hopefully the Champions League final will be of higher quality.

I think this their new current coach is the cause of the recent achievements in Crystal Palace he deserves all the praise and accolades. Man has won three titles in less than two years and they’re playing better now.

Firstly, Congratulations to Crystal palace on this milestone again they crossed tonight. The arrival of Glasnar has proven to be the best thing that has ever happened to crystal palace. I can only say that one good decisive signing can change a Mediocre team to a world class. The evolution of Crystal palace is worth studying and other premier League teams should learn from them. I'm still wondering how Glasnar never made it into the list of best managers of the season. Taking crystal palace from no where, handing them the FA cup and Community shield last season and now giving them their first European trophy. He remains the most successful manager in the history of the club.

This game against Rayo Valecano is one of a kind, the fight, the struggle and the pressing. Crystal palace controlled the first half and had the opportunity to lead the game earlier especially from Mitchell's miss which was supposed to give the first lead before Mateta's goal. After Mateta's goal, Rayo Valecano stole the game and played very well but nothing to show. The crystal palace defenders did a good job and defended the single goal. This game is a true definition of how a cup final should be, for me it was interesting and action packed.

England are really dominating the tournament because last season it was Chelsea that won it and this season Crystal Palace won, the Europa league was also won by an England team last season and this season too.
