I’m not surprised that the Palace win the trophy, they might look bad in the Premier League games, but they wouldn’t take it easy on their opponents winning the trophy. This is the only opportunity for Crystal Palace to lift a trophy this season, and great job for Glasner and the club.

Vallecano scores the equalizer, Vallecano can win the cup. When the cameras showed the Vallecano fans, I was hoping Vallecano would win the cup.

Crystal Palace attack was far better than Rayo Vallecano throughout the match. That’s football emotion, Crystal Palace fans would also be sad if the team they support lose the final. It was their opportunity to lift a trophy after many years. The best team won in the end, and congratulations to Crystal Palace for winning the title after lifting the FA Cup last season.

Well the same style of play you dislike just won them their first European trophy, Congratulations to Crystal Palace. I won't fail to acknowledge Jean Mateta cause it was his goal that made it possible for Crystal Palace to win the trophy. Vallencano tried but they couldn't attack enough to equalize.

 All the English teams that participated in a final of an European competition this season has won it, remaining Arsenal, it makes me wonder if it's a sign that Arsenal would also win there's when they meet PSG during the weekend. Well, we'll know soon, the English teams have really tried this season in the three European competitions.

Exactly, whatever the style is so long as they won it at the end it’s the better style. I congratulate them for this great achievement, I previously made a post post on this thread about how Oliver Glasner have transformed this team and winning them trophies and they’re also going to win this.

No matter how the game turned out Crystal Palace were the better team and I don’t think there’s anywhere Rayo Vallencano did better. I’m glad I put my money where my mouth is and it was a successful venture.

I thought there would be a lot of goals, but I was wrong. Crystal Palace scored just one goal to win the match and lift the trophy. So both English teams won trophies, and Crystal Palace secured their place in the Europa League next year. The English are collecting trophies this year. Only the Champions League remains. If they win that too, they will have won all the major tournaments.

This is a commendable feet that has been achieved by crystal palace because, it's a good development but from what am seeing all three trophies is likely going to English which will be helpful to England. A well deserved glory for the English side for sure. Now they have an automatic ticket to the Europa League next season and am just optimistic that they may replicate similar strengths in that stage. It's almost looking like an all English European cup winning season just as everyone is saying. Now all eyes would be on Arsenal if they could really replicate what their colleagues has done with the Europa League and conference league tonight.

A decisive goal from Jean-Philippe Mateta was enough to crown Crystal Palace the Champions of the conference league. England are really dominating the tournament because last season it was Chelsea that won it and this season Crystal Palace won, the Europa league was also won by an England team last season and this season too. Congratulations to Crystal Palace, they made the Premier League proud by winning Rayo Vallecano and returning the trophy back to England. I think that since Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have won European their finals, it will give Arsenal the morale to put up a strong fight against PSG and win the Champions League because i believe they wouldn't want to be left out.

Oh my god! I didn't even think of all of that information you drop up there, it's absolutely amazing seeing how these English league teams are rotating the European trophies among themselves, especially the just concluded two finals and it gets me wondering how just like in immediate previous season these teams that are winning these trophies are usually teams with a poor season in the domestic league. For Tottenham last season they were just at the verge of a relegation zone, and Chelsea wasn't even any better either. Before this time it used to be the Germany and Spanish league dominating Europe league competitions but now the English teams seems to have taken the lead  Arsenal next in line, possibly.

Frankly, I kept hoping until the last minute that Rayo would equalize, because their attacks were persistent and they were actually holding the initiative. But unfortunately, luck just wasn’t on their side this time.

The three latest seasons are like a best ever period in Crystal Palace history when they won three titles, FA Cup, Super Cup in England and UEFA Conference League Cup in the Europe. They have actually been on fire recent years but their performances in Premier League this season are not too good because they finished the season with 44 points which are only 6 points more than West Ham, the relegated club.

Their rank and total points at the end of Premier League season are warnings for them in order to prepare carefully in the summer and perform better in Premier League next season. If they're not carefully, they might have a next season very difficult, even harder than what they faced with in this season.

It's about the summer and a next season, now I congratulate them for the Conference League title which will bring them to Europa League next season.

It was indeed a well deserved victory and Crystal Palace deserved to win the Conference League Trophy, I’m just wondering what is it about English teams and winning the Conference League, this win qualified them for the Europa League next season, and I must say it’s a good achievement for Palace who will be in search of a new manager, Oliver Glasner have done a terrific job with the team and I’m quite impressed with the kind of job that he has done for them, he is leaving on a high after winning important trophies for them, the FA Cup, the Community Shield, Conference League, Crystal Palace will have to start over again next season with a new manager and some new projects.

Crystal Palace is doing what many people do not expect from them and i am very happy for them fit winning Europa conference league because if they did not win it it will be a very difficult season for them because they lost many matches in Premier League this season, Crystal Palace have a coach that knows how to win a trophy and we can see what they have do last season and this season that is why before the final i believe that Crystal Palace will beat Rayo Vallecano.

The game is not as easy as many people think but anyone who is watching La Liga game will know that Rayo Vallecano is one of the big and strong teams in La Liga, Rayo Vallecano can make a team like Barcelona and Real Madrid drop a points, they also played well but they can not convert the chances they have against Crystal Palace and that is the problem of some La Liga teams.

I enjoyed watching the conference league final between crystal palace and rayo vallecano more than I did with watching the europa finals of Aston villa and Freiburg. It was not a one side dominated play but a strong competition by the both finalist which made the match very captivating to see.

Is amazing how crystal palace has managed to lift their first european trophy in after over a century since the club was formed.

Oliver Glasner will forever remain a legend in the history of this club winning them their first three trophies in the club, the FA cup, Community Shield and now the Uefa Conference cup.

The English side was already favoured for the win and the result didn't surprise most people.    However I can't say that they played incredible...

Aston Villa played much better than them in the EL finale. I got quite bored last night. But I liked the way Vallecano fought back at least.

However the player quality difference was in action there. Crystal Palace have benefited from being a stronger team.

Well, Congratulations to Crystal Palace on winning their first ever European title in their history, this is really an incredible and impressive achievement by the club and kudos to Glasner for delivering such a fantastic result as the Manager of this formerly trophyless club to a club with three trophy’s in two years.

I’d expected them to win against Rayo Vallecano though and since they did, we now have nine English clubs in the European competitions next season after Crystal Palace automatically qualified for the Europa League after becoming champions in the conference league.

This is a huge success not only to Crystal Palace but to the entire English football because they’ve dominated European competition this season, winning two out of the three and Arsenal are in the Final of the Champions League, that’s really great.

Congratulation to Crystal Palace for winning the conference league trophy yesterday they performed very well and as expected they won, I already knew they will win and I said it in this forum, I bet on them to win and yesterday was one happy day for me because I won some money from gambling the reason why I was so confident and sure that Crystal Palace was going to win was because premier League teams are usually doing better this season.

Best compliment to Crystal Palace; they proved to be a very hard team, confident in their game, and I must say they have an excellent manager too. Obviously, whilst level on points with Rayo Vallecano, they have a wage budget four times that of the Spanish side and their transfer spending is on a completely different scale, but this is down to how the domestic league has evolved over time and how it redistributes wealth; in England, they clearly know what they’re doing. Another English representative became a champion in European competition after Aston Villa won the UEL, this is a good moment for Glasner before he leaves the club, at least he made memories with the Crystal Palace fans. Jean-Philippe Mateta became the hero in the final match with the only goal he scored. Well, we'll just have to wait for the biggest final in European competition, the UCL final. If Arsenal also wins, then the PL will reign supreme over Europe.
