An English team has once again won the Conference League. Crystal Palace were the tournament favorites and won their first-ever European trophy. Glasner has proven himself to be a top-tier manager.

Conference League has been held 5 times and 3 different English teams have won this trophy. It was indeed a well deserved victory and Crystal Palace deserved to win the Conference League Trophy, I’m just wondering what is it about English teams and winning the Conference League, this win qualified them for the Europa League next season, and I must say it’s a good achievement for Palace who will be in search of a new manager, Oliver Glasner have done a terrific job with the team and I’m quite impressed with the kind of job that he has done for them, he is leaving on a high after winning important trophies for them, the FA Cup, the Community Shield, Conference League, Crystal Palace will have to start over again next season with a new manager and some new projects.

All the English teams have really showed up this summer no doubt about that, winning all three European finals would truly be massive for the premier league and would probably rank among the greatest collective performance by the epl club in Europe but for Arsenal it's still a bit too difficult but if they play some good football this season but finals are different kinds of pressure entirely PSG have players who can definitely decide a game in a minute or second. If Arsenal stay composed and take their chances they can absolutely complete the English Historical moment.

I like how the conference league is structured. Imo, there are many teams that have the firepower to defeat Crystal Palace but may have been eliminated earlier.

Yeah this one was definitely something to behold, they did as well as hoped for, this team has done incredible since last year. They won 3 cups so far in the last 1 year if I am not mistaken and that alone is a huge achievement.

They won FA cup last season, then this season they won the community shield in a shocking turn of events, and now they also won the conference league, that is incredible for the size of the team, nobody expected them to win any of these and they won them all.

I think the management is doing a very good job at Crystal Palace, Oliver Glasner in particular, who is now the most successful manager in the club's history. To think that they lost quite a number of good players but then continued to collect some more silverware is just something spectacular. I won't be surprised if some of the top clubs decide to raid the management in the upcoming transfer periods.

The reason why English teams will continue to win this league is because strong clubs in EPL are the ones finishing the season on 8 position on the table. You cannot compare other leagues team strength that will finish on 8th position with that of EPL because for you to finish on 8th position shows that you really did pretty good that season because the competition is very high in EPL.

If I were in their place I'd never like to lose my trophy winner manager. He won 2 of them considering the Community Shield too. Or maybe it's just his decision to leave because of personal reasons. I hope he finds himself a good team later on.

The top leagues maintain their dominant position because the top teams from weaker leagues participate in the Champions League or Europa League, so weak teams from weaker leagues compete against weak teams from strong leagues in the Conference League, and the balance of power is clear. In fact, this is fair – why should weak teams compete for European titles instead of only local ones? It's illogical and unfair.

Arsenal must have to put up a good football play to be able to deny PSG from doubling their UCL championship in a row if they can make a 3/3 European cups win for England this season it's definitely gonna to place on a more high esteem the English league with such a record.  But this nothing like the conference league neither the Europa, the opponent Arsenal is to play against is one of the fast play making teams with good flanks to beat opponent defenders at wide pace, so Arsenal really need to be well composed to hold down this PSG side.

This is really the 2nd time an English team is winning a competition in UEFA this year. Who knows maybe even the 3rd one will be Arsenal but their job is much more difficult. 

Glasner was just about to leave the team and he left them a present just before that. I think the players would miss him. Maybe their PL rank wasn't great this year but they still lifted 2 trophies!

Before Oliver Glasner joined Crystal Palace in 2024, they were struggling and never won a trophy in the entire club's history but in the last 12 months, he's helped them win three trophies; 2025 English FA Cup, 2025 Community Shield and recently an European trophy which they secured against Rayo Vallecano in the final of this season's UEFA Europa Conference League final. I'm surprised that after achieving such milestones, he'll be leaving the club now. I don't know if his departure was a personal decision but I doubt he was forced put of the club by the club's management.

It's no surprise that the English won the Conference League, because now that transitions from the top to the lower tournament are closed, English teams are automatically considered favorites in the Conference League. This hasn't been a bad idea in the last few years either. This year, too, an English team won the tournament. It's likely to happen again next year. Well those two that they are currently dominating is based of the capacity they have, although Arsenal were actually the only English team this season to really shine and I think they should be really proud of themselves.
For me people can have problem with Arsenal style of football but for me that's wrong and I see Chelsea fans even saying Arsenal Is boring an defensive when during the era that they were strong they were based of their defensive capabilities.
