I already had it at the back of my mind that Arsenal wouldn't win PSG because I see PSG more superior than them but I was wrong because they both had equal strength and PSG won through penalty shoot out. Luck was really on PSG side couple with their outstanding performance.

Arsenal was "dying in the beauty of football" in previous seasons but remained without trophies.
This season they decided to change their approach and start playing pragmatically and for the result and it paid off, finally after more than 20 years they became champions of England again.
They were also close to winning the Champions League, they defended perfectly for 65 minutes but one moment of lack of concentration was fatal.

It's no pulling down if that's how you read it. With the level of works the team put in this season in all competition l don't think it would be fair for anybody to criticise this Arsenal side, they were only unlucky to have lost through penalties, prior to the begining of this game everybody thought Arsenal wouldn't be able to match PSG but Mikel Arteta devices a means through which his team were able to repel PSG forwards and stop the French side from destroying them within 90 mins, that in itself was a clear show of technical ability from the Arteta unlike what befell Inter Milan last season.

In my opinion, arguing between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain in the Conference League is pointless. We see how successful English teams are there. Crystal Palace won the championship as expected, and we'll probably see another English team win it next year. Perhaps UEFA should reopen the transfer window from the top leagues to the lower leagues. Because as long as this isn't the case, English teams don't face many competition. I would say Brighton will not be the favourites for me, Ajax is. I get the reason why people think they are not as good as they used to be, after all a team that played semi finals at UCL, being at conference league, is proof enough that they are not as good as they used to be.
