I’m Nigerian so ofcourse I’m rooting for the Super Eagles to win tomorrow. I’m too sentimental to bet on a game like this but I predict a 2-1 victory for Nigeria. How easy or difficult the game will be is dependent on the formation and lineup the manager chooses to play.

The Gabonese in terms of action on the field can't be compared to Cameroon and Dr Congo's, I have seen these respective teams play and among them all Dr Congo is who I fear and wasn't praying to meet against Nigeria but unfortunately, Cameron couldn't kick them out. There is no great players that hasn't missed chances to score goals before so Osimhen should not be too blamed for missing the ones he did, that how football works especially since he's was still able to score later on in the match even if that was in extra time, he is one of Nigeria's best players and shouldn't be underrated especially with how bad the NFF has been treating their players of late, at least with this win against Gabon we are set for playoffs, as far as I am concerned that's a win too so all that needs to be done is for them to work harder and make sure that their chances are not missed unnecessarily, our world cup performance over the years haven't been the best we need to be doing better.

Being a Tough team does not matter at this point, what matters is going into the game and getting the result and that's all that matters most. The country is eager to see the super eagles qualify for the world cup and even though it would have been better to do it through a rather smooth means, we've got this rout to deal with and the boys have to go through it and get the result at the end.

Osimehn though awful at some point still managed to assist in the previous game we had but we can't continue to rely only on him.
