I don't like the way we blame Nigeria team over their loss in Dr Congo match, we should know that gambling is something that may change at any time and the Dr Congo defeated Cameroon and there is every possibility for them to defeat Cameroon to have the opportunity to defeat any country in Africa by come across them that is why whenever we are discussing about gambling I do let people know that they should not underestimate any team because the thing that I did not believe that we win in match at the end there are the one that defeat so let us consider the game as normal thing that happened in matches

It's 90 minutes already and an extra 3 minutes have just been added, and to be frankly speaking, I'm totally disappointed with the way our Nigerian Super Eagles are playing right now, considering the fact how early our Super Eagles were able to score the first goal of the match at 3 minutes into the game, which obviously gave us high hopes thinking they could actually deliver us today to enable us qualify for the forthcoming 2026 World Cup. For the fact that DR congo  team defeated Cameroon never guarantee winning against the super eagles of Nigeria because the super eagles are know march for Cameroon ranging from players quality, ranking and team performance in the tournament. If not for the fact that one can not identify the root cause of the super eagles unpredictable weakness and poor performance, i don't think any team in Africa can stand the quality of the Nigerian team in all ramifications. I was thinking something like this as well, if DR Congo can eliminate Cameroon that most of us thought were going to play the finals with either Gabon or Nigeria. I was even afraid that if Nigeria manages to eliminate Gabon they will play Cameroon and it was good that Nigeria overcame Gabon with ease and when DR Congo eliminated Cameroon most of us thought it was going to be another easier ride since Nigeria has more quality players than DR Congo. On Facebook, while they were analysing the Nigeria Vs DR Congo match and lots of Nigerians wrote them off, I was like for DR Congo to eliminate Cameroon means that the Nigerian team should be very careful of them because sometimes a pinch can be very painful. Nigeria should just go home and rest biko, if they were serious from the very beginning of the world cup qualifying games, they wouldn't have played this play off games, but instead they would have qualified as the Senegalese team and the rest of other top African side did, not relying on qualifying from the back door.

I blame NFF because of poor planning and we know how they do invite players who are not suppose to get the national call up and they avoid calling players who are doing well in their respective club side. How can we as a nation say Osimhen is the only striker we have who's equally doing well? That's not suppose to be because we have strikers who are too good but because of man know man how can we go far?

If Eric knows this formation isn't going to work well like he intended, trust me he is not going to play some of the players that started the match but you know what gave him full confidence, scoring goal under 4 minute of the game is anything that will make the coach very happy about. The manager wasn't in any way playing the formation just to fix in all the players, for me the guys who started the game are his first 11 and they are the same guys who started against Gabon and sme other games, of he's to change it will be just 2 or 3 players but still he has his first 11. Selection of players from our local league is not the problem and like you said they do things base on man know man that's why we find some of our brothers playing for another country national team (after the have nationalized) which I think is also good. Kelward I think you speak my mind, human has way of trying to defend their error or failure, listening to the Coach claim look as if he doesn't know while he was hired, if I hired or employ person as professional to do my work it's his responsibility to get the work done with which ever means that it deem it necessary, given excuse at the end without getting the job done makes it unprofessional, if he know the voodoo works in football and that will assist him while not involved on it and you waited and watch your opponent give you sounding defeat that is when you claim on their techniques, football anything can happen I can't completely said that his wrong but my argument is what stop him, if that will usher him wining, besides as experience and professional he might have carry out some survey to know the extent to which his opponent can go and savage or wage war against it. You won't have a hope for the World Cup if not for Erich Chelle, Victor Osimhen, and Benjamin Federick. They are three people under the Super Eagle that has given us much hope during the qualification stage. Like I have said before, the people we should blame are the players who played during the start of the group stage. Now is not the time to blame anyone. It has been a long time since the Super Eagle's mate qualified, so it is a thing of the past. I already gave up hope long before now. Only the three people I mentioned were trying to ignite the fire of hope again, but yet again, some crazy players still decided to mess up in the end.

He missed the point Honestly, It was never about gambling. Everything is not gambling, sometimes failure hurts beyond the money lost but the opportunity missed out of carelessness and the bad image that comes with it. Nigeria had lots of chances to qualify normally but was very careless and relaxed in the qualification matches, yet they managed to get another chance to attempt qualifying but missed it entirely repeating the same poor performance at a match as crucial as the one with DR Congo. We were having a discussion in one of our groups that day and somebody mentioned this point "As long as you're a Nigerian, you failed today". That comment really got to me how that single failure is shared by everyone that is a Nigerian citizen.

So the dude think we are being bitter here simply because we placed a bet on Super Eagle and we lost our tickets? That's ridiculous and petty reason to be angry with the super eagle. This is not the first time we are losing a game and not the first time our tickets are been destroyed but we are talking about the giant of Africa missing a chance to play at the World Cup for two consecutive occasions. Nigeria missed their chance to participate in the last World Cup hosted by Qatar and every patriotic citizen is anticipating to see the Super Eagles playing in the upcoming World Cup but every dream was shattered just like that because of their unseriousness right from group stage and now we have to wait until another four years. I don't believe Voodoo works. If it did Congo would've used it to qualify since not until they play this play-off, Look how they struggled with penalty kicks before making it to the World Cup. I've noticed one thing about the Super Eagles we often have a bad manager, and players lack of seriousness used to contributes to their failure. We have talented players performing well in their clubs which If they played with seriousness, I don't see any African team challenging them. But they always fail to take it seriously, leading to disappointing performances, like what happened in the last AFCON.

Years back, Nigerian football has died, and no way to resurrect them. We have big players playing and performing too well in Europe top league, yet, when they come home, many a times, there is nothing special to show or watch. When I think about it, I wonder who to blame, either the players, the coach, or the NFF. Out performance is just to poor that many Nigerians have lost hope on our super Eagles and watching them. Sincerely, I welcomed them back home yesterday with a clear mind, no sadness, Na pian, courses. Let's all stay at home and watch the world cup together on the screen come 2026. Hallelujah!

I used to tell people that this is not the real Super Eagles, because our real Super Eagles don't use to disappoint us like this, we always enjoy ourselves when watching them and it was only few of them that was playing in the Europe but they were giving Nigerians what they want without any problem. But right now almost the whole team are playing in the Europe, yet they couldn't make it to the 2026 World Cup, what a big shame to them. Of course, it's better to welcome them with clear mind and move on than giving yourself a sleepless night.
