African teams have the skills and what it takes to win the World Cup, but the truth is that African teams lack the technical know-how to attain that height of achieving such a feat.

Lacking in technical know-how? How do you think this can be solved? Do you think the foreign coaches or foreign technical staff can help? Because if that is what you think, I want you to recall that many African teams have contracted the services of a foreign coach and staff to help, but it still has not helped.

Maybe there needs to be better investment in grass-roots football and into football in general in these African countries so that it is actually enticing for people to want to represent their country and put in their best, and also not want to play for other countries. If many African players are actually representing their countries and putting in their best, it will be possible for Africa to lift the World Cup.

 I am curious about this whole thing sincerely because I have been thinking about it for some time now, and this made me dive into the club side, and if you notice, African players are doing perfectly well at their club side compared to their national team. The majority of the African players have lifted club-side trophies and others as well, but when it comes to home or national level, they just try to play what they can, and yet the efforts do not equate to what they play at clubside.

If I was part of the Nigerian NFF today I will have recommended for the sack of Chelle simply because of this his infamous claims that voodoo was the reason why he was not able to take his team to the world cup. It was their poor management of the team by the NFF that significantly contributed to the team's downfall. If Nigeria actually wants to get it right, the best thing to do is to sack everyone at the NFF especially the names that's being in the federation for over 5 years now.

Sacking the manager wouldn't solve the problem of Nigeria national team football because even with a new experienced manager working under the current NFF, he's unlikely to do better that Eric Chelle as his efforts will be frustrated by the poor admiration.

You should have known that there many drama that has happened in this country, that reminds me of when the late Bubari was in power, someone claimed that smake swallowed money, didn't you hear of that, ik Nigeria don't be surprised to hear any shit, when someone fails, the next thing such person will look for excuses to cover up.
The NFF is also a problem to Nigerian football, so they can do anything, they are not better than they voodoo man, they are all comeduans, we should accept them like that, Nigeria is a country where anything is possible, they are not serious in anything, I never expected anything from them, I advise we let this matter rest, so that we won't keep getting upset.

Honestly speaking I’m totally feeling you. It’s wild how a lot of African stars dominate in Europe but then the national team results don’t match up.

Club football has better facilities, consistent coaching, and a tighter squad rhythm which some of our athletes in Nigeria really need to work on them self, because from their last game it was so much bad to see them play like newbie, and International breaks are shorter, travel is tougher, and sometimes the tactical systems clash.

He never wanted to play in your corrupt country if i was even a professional player as a Nigeria i won't play for Nigeria because of how bad the government and NFF are, this people are the problem we are having in Nigeria.
It's good Eze pulled up 3 goals against Tottenham, Arsenal team is ready to win the premier league with their consistency if they can keep on with this performance i don't think any club in the premier league this season will be able to win the title from them. I blame the coach and the players. Let’s not take that responsibility from them just because the NFF is trash. Hahaha, don't dive into that dude, I was quite excruciated to have used those words because there are so many things that are happening but the government seems to tender it in a way that looks like they are trying to brainwash a child with no knowledge about his surroundings.

Well said. Playing for your country which you are pretty sure that it cannot pass a stage or two in the FIFA World Cup is worthless. Good players in top clubs with a decent salary, don't see why they should play good and risk their career for injuries. Instead they play as good as possible without a lot of risks to return as soon as possible to their teams and try to win something locally.

I think this was what was happening in the Nigeria Football players in years back but I don't know if that is still happening and that happens when the players are not properly taking care of in tbe National Sports Commission. When players are well paid in the outside than their country, then the country club received the bad attitude because they can't play to get injury when they would not be taking care of and probably die in poverty with the injury. But when they go out to their clubside games they do well and give their best.

Then I aslo had such thinking of same idea about sacking most of the NFF administrators because In conclusion already I have said they are not doing there work properly, which on the other hand it sound unprofessional to do so which I have come to learn that in football there is always the possibility of a losing team and a winning team, and also this got me thinking maybe the having to sacks long-standing officials could really clear the road or part and give them a better chances of winning because them feel it bad administration that lead to all this, I think for some time now the federation has really faced a lot criticism for staffing decisions, and also having to deal with  funding delays and lack of clear long term strategy which this can affect players preparing to coach stability.

I don't understand, i thought it is the players who has dual citizenship are the ones that decides which country they will play for. It never occurred to me that they are invited by the country's football body and if that's the case then i blame the NFF for not inviting an important star like Eberechi Eze to the national team because imagine if he was in the Super Eagles squad with Victor Osimhen, it would have been a mad combo. It's not late if that's the case because we still have the nations cup to play so they can still invite him to the Super Eagles.
