When I recall the game between Nigeria and Congo DR, its ovous that there are many better teams than the Super Eagles. Congo played us as if they were playing a division three club. The Nigerian team was begging for the match to end in penalties. My sincere prediction is that with our current class, we might not get to the semi finals.

It is not about having faith in the super eagles, it's about doing the right process and contributing one's quota starting from the NFF to fans. Recently, there was news about the non payment of the coach's salary and entitlements and this goes a long way to influence the outcome of the game. Morocco is coming for their possible title since 1976 as the highest ranked team in Africa. The tournament would be filled with magic moments as they will be so focused on lifting the title. I am going to focus on Moroccan games, Egypt and Nigerian games. I will be expecting Nigeria to finish first in the group C
While Morocco also tops the group A. I hope Nigeria wins their 4th title this year even though the team doesn't appear to be ready for such success.

What's faith when we don't have what it takes to win one. I have complained many times that over reliance on Osimhen is our biggest set back in the super eagle. You can't win all the match when you are too dependent on Osimhen to lead you to anything. The last two Afcon when Lookman made a good impact we all saw how everything changes in the system of Super eagles, even though we didn't win the final there was a big difference.

This past international games, we didn't made it to world cup because of same reason. Go and check the matches we had in the world cup qualifiers, check the matches Osimhen played center forward and when he was placed in the wing position and the times he was substituted, big errors everywhere.

I hope so because NFF should not be allowed to be treating players as if they're nothing, is this going to be the future of Nigeria in sports?, the problem is that what if court get compromised to favour NFF over the player that is going to sue them because we also have an unstable justice system in this country but however if if that happens the NFF might get there pay back from every players retiring from the national team also so that they would leave everything about the football for them to manipulate as they are doing, besides they have all gotten clubs they play for international.

The super eagles players should not even waste their time and money in suing the NFF in court because they will not get the justice they are looking for since the NFF has the backing of the federal government of Nigeria. Since the NFF do not want to treat the super eagles players fairly, if it were possible for me to talk to the super eagles players, i would have advised them to retire from international football so that the NFF will learn the hard way, and when there are no quality players to play for the super eagles of Nigeria, the NFF i will beg them to come back from retirement and play for the super eagles, and they can use the opportunity and make the NFF sign an agreement to pay them their wages at the right time.

It cannot work because when a players announced that they have retired, there is nothing will make them come back again after maybe years and say they will not retired again and start playing with the team, since we have not seen a player who retired from there national team and come back to them, we have to say that no player is permitted to do that, so actually if super eagles players are doing that it should be something they really mean to do and no going back, perhaps threatening them for possible retirement is the best so that compliances from NFF will be done on time.

I don't see them as favorites, but i know we have the right players for the job, although i cannot extend my say to what i am sure we will achieve at the end of the AFCON, it is a long journey and this is just the beginning, after a few games we can really observe the possibility of us winning the AFCON. 

About the coach Eric Chelle, he's been given the role as the head coach, while we have had some good games with him, he may not be perfect but i consider him to be a better coach than our local, Finidi George, at least we made an upgrade.

As a patriotic citizen of Nigeria, I would support the Super Eagles to come out victorious in the AFCON. We need to win this competition to cover up for the disappointment of not going to the World Cup.  However, I will have to be sincere to myself, I don't see the Super Eagles reaching the semi-finals. Anyone who has high hopes should reduce them to avoid heartbreak. A team that was disgraced by Congo wouldn't withstand top African teams like Morocco, Ghana, Egypt and others.

Firstly, we all need to understand that the FIFA World Cup is the most coveted and prestigious trophy in the history of football. Many professional footballers will trade not playing football for a whole season but featuring in just one World Cup game, that's how important it is. Now to your question, if the Super Eagles of Nigeria can win the World Cup, it'll be a huge consolation to the football fans in the country for their failure to qualify for next year's edition of the World Cup. Even if Nigeria had qualified to play it's almost impossible that they'll reach the Semis talk more if winning it and that's why I personally think that winning the African Championship will be a good consolation than going to the World Cup and get eliminated in the group stages

The super eagles not qualifying for the world cup is not even the reason people should not see them as the favorite to win the AFCON, but since the AFCON has not started and people have not seen how the super eagles will perform in the AFCON, they should not see the super eagles as favorite to win the AFCON next year. The only player that have been saving the super eagles from disappointed was Osimhen and few of the matches he couldn't play was a big disaster to them which clearly shows that Osimhen is the man of the match that has being helping the super eagles to defeat other countries without mercy. If Osimhen decide not to participate in yhe AFCON, that means, Nigeria will not go anywhere.

I will put all the blames on NFF for the Super Eagle poor performance over a long period of time till date. Look at what they are doing to a coach that did his best for the team. They withheld his salary for no reason. This has shown that they're all incompetent people in the NFF.

There's nothing wrong with players retiring and still coming back to play after announcing their retirement, in different clubs in Europe and different countries I have seen that happen over and over again, even with the super Eagles in 2018 or there about Victor Moses announced his retirement when Nigeria was preparing for the AFCON the next year his name was included for him to come and join the team, he just decided stay retired, at that point if he still wanted to play the opportunity was there for him to play.

Yeah, when they start playing like people that are serious for the country, well I wouldn't entirely blame only the players in all of these. The NFF has been a major problem that has hindered the progress of the team in certain ways. It's not that the NFF isn't fully funded, but for some reasons they still choose to owe the players and coaching crews their salaries. They work but don't get paid, of cause there won't be motivation to keep on playing at the highest level.
