I saw the story too and my though is that the said prophet should be put behind bars so other fake prophets would learn, I learnt that's this particular prophet has had series of fake prophecy in the past before now, from prophesying that Buharii would lose his election to Peter Obi emerging as President instead of Tinubu and now another fake prophecy that Lookman would be the doom of the Super Eagles, same Lookman that gave the Super Eagles their winning goal against Tanzania. These are not prophesies, they are predictions and unfortunately majority of the predictions do not happen. If you are a coach and you are prophesied for not to include Lookman in your squad, will you agree to that?
Also we shouldn't celebrate the failed prophecy now, coincidence could happen and Lookman misses a penalty shootout in the finals or semi finals, the prophet will just claim authentic.

On a side note, any prophet for said Peter Obi would win wasn't wrong. Everyone saw it and Peter Obi won but he was eventually rigged out.

Tomorrow Egypt will face South Africa in one of the most tough matches so far. Obviously Egypt look the favourite here but we should not underestimate South Africa too. The odds are 1.9 - 4.9. I don't understand why the odds of South Africa looks like that.

I've been spamming odds like these and better for teams like S Africa (and Australia or NZ too, while we're at it, I know that's Oceania but hey). But they have been disappointing me more often lately, so now the value bet here is a handicap (aiming for draw results).

I think the real value lies in the new entrants -- the islanders, especially. Only problem is bookies are smarter now and you're getting more juice squeezed out.

Have we noticed that since the beginning of this ongoing AFCON is the bigger boys that have been getting all 3pt, winning their games even if is 1nil, the highest is a draw but the big sides are yet to drop point in the first leg of the group stage, I wonder when are we to see one or two strong countries lose their game. Who's going to be the first to lose to a smaller side? I hope not Nigeria because they did well in their game so they should top the group.

I’m not very optimistic about Nigeria’s chances in the AFCON this year, they have disappointed me too many times. I can’t be disappointed by club football and face worse things in national team. But still I think the AFCON is a very predictable tournament. Even with Nigeria’s poor performance you can bet on them to reach quarter finals of the competition.

That is not true

The Super Eagles have their own official fans, I am very sure about that. I think, since the spread of much false information, I want to believe this is another false piece of information that has been spreading online these past few days. Without official fans, there wont be full-time supporters on the field. How will they win the AFCON, if there are no official fans?

I agree with you on this point. The second matches are also low-scoring. Those who want to bet might prefer a draw in matches between evenly matched teams in the second matches. I will wait for the third matches.

I am a Nigerian, and I can tell you for free that nothing about this country is a surprise to me again because corruption has been like a normal thing among those politicians in charge of our footballing bodies, so till that menace is put to an end, nothing will be a surprise to me again.

You have said it all, the Nigeria super eagles really needs to change their style of play, they lose or play draw in a match they already know thats important but struggle to win when it is too late or in a match that's not that much important, I don't if it is the way they are been but I doubt if it is, because a team that knows how to do it better will continue to do it irrespective of their illed treatment although I won't totally dispute the fact that if players are not treated well they can do and undo that's the politics that exist in football, having said that, you are right where you said Nigeria is one of the major contender of the AFCON but my friend with them has always been consistency which you have mentioned but let's see how it goes this time but I will also advise that we shouldn't take to heart much, as we usually say in our (e get why) .

I personally also surprised why South Africa does not seem to be superior to Egypt. Both national teams have actually performed equally well, where they have both collected 3 points. Perhaps Egypt's position as the host team makes them the favorites. But I personally predict that this match will be very tough. And there is a possibility that these two teams will end in a draw. So I personally prefer to bet on Double Chance by choosing Draw or South Africa for this upcoming match. And I think the odds are also quite attractive to bet on. The match is about to begin.
