Can someone confirm this?

I saw a news report that Nigeria is the only country in the afcon without official fans. I hope the news isn't true. Apparently the report said that government admitted to no money being available to make provisions for that as the main reason why there are no official fans. If it js indeed true, it means that our sport teams will likely suffer in the coming years. I remember what happened to some of our athletes during the Olympics.

Don't know of this but I'm damn sure a lot of our sports journalist like football fans tribe and other media outlet travelled to Morocco even before the opening ceremony and have sense been a great support in terms of standing in as the fans of the super eagles at Morocco. There use to be our national team band that always follows the national team to wherever they are going to, for a country as ours, I don't think sponsoring them is something to assume we don't have the resource to sorting out. We might have our issue with our sports bodies but I don't think it's gotten to this level.

Tomorrow Egypt will face South Africa in one of the most tough matches so far. Obviously Egypt look the favourite here but we should not underestimate South Africa too. The odds are 1.9 - 4.9. I don't understand why the odds of South Africa looks like that.

I personally also surprised why South Africa does not seem to be superior to Egypt. Both national teams have actually performed equally well, where they have both collected 3 points. Perhaps Egypt's position as the host team makes them the favorites. But I personally predict that this match will be very tough. And there is a possibility that these two teams will end in a draw. So I personally prefer to bet on Double Chance by choosing Draw or South Africa for this upcoming match. And I think the odds are also quite attractive to bet on. The match is about to begin. Let's see how it will unfold.

I am expecting a tough game in this match, but I think that the south Africans will have more in their sleeves to offer this Egyptian team since they are more of a club side, because almost all their first eleven team players plays for melodi sundown, so the team work and the togetherness is what the Egyptian team will fail to match, the game has already started and the south Africans are possessing more of the ball as expected, but I believe that the Egyptian team will also give them a good fight since they have more quality in their team than this south African team.
But if I will be gambling on this game, I will be betting on south Africa to win since they have a more better head to head record in their few meetings between them, but it's not going to be an easy game.

Your analysis are correct, but I would go for a straight win in favor of South Africa, it might sound risky but I'm optimistic about the strength of the BAFANA BAFANA players have when it comes to aggressive attack, although Egyptians too are also good tactically and that is what makes the match very unique, even if I would double chance, I will go for a South Africa win or draw.

It's an advantage for the but do not underestimate Egypt cause several of their players to are playing for teams overseas and have the experience in winning matches like these. For most of them, it's not the first time of playing the AFCON tournament compared to South Africans players, well I understand your point cause a team with better understanding amongst themselves,  on and off the pitch would likely thrive mostly.

I know that South Africa would not underestimate Egypt because they know that Egypt is not a weak team in the continent. The problem which South Africa is facing in the game is bad strikers and someone who can score goal. If not they are not doing bad in the game. They are possessing ball well and even more than Egypt yet Egypt has conceded one goal and that is to tell us that it is not all about possessing ball more but good strikers and good goal scorers. M. Salah used the penalty well for Egypt and they will maintain that goal to the end of the game. I don't think South Africa will score in their game.

As it stands now, the Egyptian team are leading by a goal to nil from a penalty goal from mo salah, but this second half is not going to be easy for them now that Hany M. has gotten a red card at the dieing minute of the field half.
The Egyptian might be winning this game right now, but with what I have seen from the south Africans so far, the Egyptian team will be lucky to claim a point in this game even though they are a goal up already, because that red card that hany took is really going to tell on them if the south Africans are very clinical in front of goal.

Very embarrassing for a country like Nigeria, what kind of excuse or reason is that. I don't know why we keep allowing the wrong people into power, how they coneout to make such excuse. This is why we some foreign based players don't want to choose Nigeria first unless there's no option than to. We can't take care of our own and now to show support is a problem and we want the boys to do well.

I'm not seeing anything special that the bafana bafana players are doing. They have attacked several times without any shot on target. Egypt is looking better than them in the attack because they're still finding a way to double their goal despite playing with ten men. Soufh Africa isn't creayive enough to create a good chance.

I just wonder if South Africa can take advantage of the red card situation of Egypt because of I'm being honest, they need to sit up cause this game is looking like a one-sided affair with Egypt still managing to press despite being a man down and I'm beginning to wonder whether Hugo Broos would need to bring in more players who can make an impact in the game because most of his key players are already shown the yellow card. One misstep and they might get sent off which could mean level pegging for Egypt and yet another chance for them to win the game.

I just made a research and I saw the news. It is everywhere in the social media. This is mut a good omen, and it is bad one in that matter. Well probably they ( government) know that Super Eagles will not go far in the tournament so there is no need to spend massive on them. But I believe if the Super Eagles reach the semifinal of the tournament, government and the NFF will send fans to them to encourage them, that is too late because the Super Eagles has already reach there without supporters on the stadium.

The Egyptians are really making me proud, despite that they're playing with 10 men they still managed to defend the one goal that was scored by Salah before their player got booked. Although Bafana boys tried but their attack wasn't just good enough for them to take advantage of Egyptians misfortune, it was an interesting match after all.

South Africa thought that they would equalize the goal with that handball by Egypt defender but the penalty wasn't given to them because the sliding wasn't intentional since he was already going down and needs his hands to balance himself.

The problem South Africa had was the fact that they didn't come with the intention to win, from there first half line up, the squad was made up of 4 defenders and 3 CDM's, that spells big trouble for the attacking side of there squad, no playmaker to enable Foster make those dangerous runs against the Egyptian defenders. I thought the turning point was going to be after the Egyptians got the red card but to my dismay the match just turned upside down.

A player that really got my attention was Mudau, I didn't know how good Mudau is from the South Africa team, I should be watching more of him, I like the way he makes decision and his positional awareness, what a good right back.

This is another season of an unusual things on the AFCON, Mohammed Salah is someone must people do not think of having influenced on this AFCON but we can imagine how he has already scored two goals in two matches, I have not done a round calculations of goals scored by each AFCON players but we can see Mohammed Salah at the higher scorer already, he has become nationally strong for his country, they have won two countries already and definitely they're going to win all because Angola is a substandard team for them so actually they will get 9 point on the group.
