How can it be true, the giant of Africa don't have official fans in this Africa cup of nations ahahaha it can't be true mate, may be the government is looking for way to give excuse why they don't give some financial benefits to Nigerian super eagle because the majority of super eagle players are not playing for only super eagle alone and they have fans all over the world, and even though the news is true I don't think is for Nigerian super eagle because no Nigerian news television or radio station that will allow their workers to use their channels to spread such fake news, our team will not suffer but that news can't be true because our players are everywhere in the world.

The Egyptians are really making me proud, despite that they're playing with 10 men they still managed to defend the one goal that was scored by Salah before their player got booked. During round two, I see some highly interesting games between good teams in the upcoming days.
Tomorrow Egypt will face South Africa in one of the most tough matches so far. Obviously Egypt look the favourite here but we should not underestimate South Africa too. The odds are 1.9 - 4.9. I don't understand why the odds of South Africa looks like that.

I personally also surprised why South Africa does not seem to be superior to Egypt. Both national teams have actually performed equally well, where they have both collected 3 points. Perhaps Egypt's position as the host team makes them the favorites. But I personally predict that this match will be very tough. And there is a possibility that these two teams will end in a draw. So I personally prefer to bet on Double Chance by choosing Draw or South Africa for this upcoming match. And I think the odds are also quite attractive to bet on. The match is about to begin. I just confirmed the news. It appears to be true, the NSC/NFF claims that there is no money available in their purse to sponsor fans to support the Super Eagles. They claim to have spent all their resources on the players because they don’t want any issues like we saw in the World Cup qualifiers where the players boycotted training.

Is it that the government didn't give them enough money to take care of all these expenses or it was due to poor management of funds given to the NFF because I don't understand why a team will be going to a big competition like this without their fans to motivate and cheer them up.

Your post was barely coherent. It is true that the NFF/NSC have decided not to sponsor official fans for Nigeria in the AFCON due to financial reasons. However, they have fulfilled the pledge they made to the Super Eagles in the World Cup qualifiers. AFCON is not a small tournament that only salah can win by himself, even in Liverpool he needs his teammates help to create chances for him to score goals, Salah is doing well and I like the way he is playing currently even after he was bench for not performing well for his club, he should keep his performance up and prove to a person that said Salah doesn’t turn up when it comes to AFCON, his recent performance shows that he still has a lot to offer for Liverpool.

I did not have time to watch the match between Egypt and South Africa because I was busy but why are people complaining about the game today, some people said that South Africa has been robbed by not giving them the penalty, after watching the highlight of the game I think South Africa deserves the penalty but if the referee says it is not a penalty then that is all because no one is above mistake and the referee will have a reason why he did not give the penalty, and Var is the one that say it was not a penalty.

I just made a research and I saw the news. It is everywhere in the social media. This is mut a good omen, and it is bad one in that matter. Well probably they ( government) know that Super Eagles will not go far in the tournament so there is no need to spend massive on them. But I believe if the Super Eagles reach the semifinal of the tournament, government and the NFF will send fans to them to encourage them, that is too late because the Super Eagles has already reach there without supporters on the stadium.

On this particular case, I'm hundred percent in support of the Nigerian sport authority (NSO), is not entirely the duty of the federation to sponsor fans for events, if you go to Europe many of the European countries fans find their way to the locations of any football events, they spend their own personal money in buying tickets, paying for flight and booking hotels for any of the football match they want to watch and not the federation catering for everybody. So if the federation have come out to say they don't have money for such kind of expenditure, then we shouldn't castigate them, at least they've come clean on this one.

It doesn't surprise me anymore, well I'm not blaming this on the government even though they have their own share of it but then I'll blame the NFF cause they had all the time to plan and allocate funds for things to be done properly but they failed to, this is not the first time they've been disorganised, imagine the tournament has started but the band boys are yet to be found, what a shame, sounds funny but then it's nothing to laugh about.

Congratulations on your new rank. What Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman have done at club level and what they are still doing for their clubs is better than what Bryan Mbeumo and Wan Bissaka havd done at club level, and what they are still doing for their clubs. For Robert Song not to see Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman as world class players, he is just jealous of what Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman have achieved in their career and he just made that comment to make Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman look like people that did nothing for their country and club.

Everybody is subjected to their opinion, and they have their own point of view, so we can’t stop them from saying it, but is he also a world class player before he retire from football?

This is a question for himself, if he can answer that, then he can decide who is a world class player and who is not because the World Cup he is trying to use to judge is not a criteria because none of these players have good World Cup games already, so we can’t accept this as fact because the whole world knows Osimhen and Lukuman, so everybody is subjected to their opinion.

Let’s see how this AFCON will end, we will rate the respective players and decide who is a world class and who is not.

Well it would be nice to watch him take his team to the finals and win it Eygpt is a strong African football nation and they're capable of winning the Afcon but they have tougher contenders like Ivory coast, Algeria, Senegal and Morocco these are the countries I believe would go very far in the tournament. On the other hand, asides helping the Egyptians, I feel he might be trying to impress Slot so he won't be benched again when he goes back to Liverpool.

I like Rigobert Song, but I disagree with his opinion. It's true that the Nigerian national team won't go to the World Cup, and from what I've seen of their games, they have world-class players. The high quality of the Nigerian national team is undeniable. Unfortunately, there has been a lack of coordination among the players on the field; it seems like each player wants all the attention for themselves. If the Nigerian federation could hire a coach who cared, who would make the players respect and fear him, I'm sure the players would play collectively on the field and Nigeria would beat many strong teams.

This is another season of an unusual things on the AFCON, Mohammed Salah is someone must people do not think of having influenced on this AFCON but we can imagine how he has already scored two goals in two matches, I have not done a round calculations of goals scored by each AFCON players but we can see Mohammed Salah at the higher scorer already, he has become nationally strong for his country, they have won two countries already and definitely they're going to win all because Angola is a substandard team for them so actually they will get 9 point on the group.

Egypt has won against two countries. Their win against South Africa would have been nearly equalized if the penalty had been given to the South African team in the closing minutes of the second half. South Africa was dominant in the second half because of the red card given to an Egyptian player at the end of the first half, which forced Egypt to play a defensive game, prompting the Egyptian coach to remove Salah and bring in a defensive player in the second half of the match. This is bad sincerely, because Nigeria supporters club use to be the best among their counters paths with the way they chear their players on the pitch, but lately none of that support moral and motivation through songs have been none existent, corruption have eaten off a lot of vital organs of our national team and the reason for their under performance.

Many countries actually sponsor supporters clubs to their away games. They add to the fans who come on their own and add to the atmosphere of the games.
Nigerian fans do go to games. The number will be less due to difficulty traveling within Africa and quite frankly the economic situation of the country. Only a very few percentage of people can afford to travel to Morocco and experience the tournament.

So if the federation have come out to say they don't have money for such kind of expenditure, then we shouldn't castigate them, at least they've come clean on this one.

They sponsored the entire board to one of the recent world cup qualifying games and even had a representative at the draws we were not involved in. This is about (wrong) priorities and not lack of resources.
