When it comes to business matters there is no need to be sentimental about deals that didn't go well initially, a team that rejected you and are later coming for you means that they have realized your worth and if you feel that being with them is a better option for then you have to let bygone be bygone. In business and politics what is constant is interest and you will go to where is more favorable to you even if you were rejected there before or if you rejected them because tomorrow you can still decide to move on after expiration of your contract. I know that Osimhen, is very comfortable in Galatasaray but he has to move on if he gets a better offer because that is the nature of their work and if Arsenal, is his best choice he should go and prove himself there.
I think emotions should not dominate professional life. When Arsenal rejected him, it was because of Arsenal's professionalism, because it is very difficult to get a chance in a quality team like Arsenal without a proven player. Now that Arsenal has expressed interest in him and I think the opportunities here will be better than in Galatasaray, I think Victor Osimhen should take that chance. If Victor Osimhen decides to stay in Galatasaray with his emotions, then maybe the road to the big stage will be a little harder for him. Because we know that Arsenal is a top team in the top league, if he can do well at Arsenal, his market value will increase very quickly. It is important to fight in the top teams to get into the list of top players. It is normal for big teams to reject you if you do not show your ability, when that team considers you worthy, it should be an honor for you.

Arsenal didn't reject Victor Osimhen because of the professionalism of the club, it was literally because there was many controversy that surrounded his transfer at that time. I don't know why you are sounding as if Victor Osimhen just came to limelight recently, he has been in the limelight since 2023 when he won the Serie A at Napoli. The reason why Arsenal is interested in him is because he is calm now and has improved more since he joined Galatasaray.

I see things differently from other people and i can tell you that Victor Osimhen doesn't fit in well for Arsenal because his pattern of play and that of the Arsenal team is very different. Osimhen is a player that loves energy in the team while Arsenal takes it easy in their matches so it will become a problem if Victor Osimhen doesn't see that energy because he might begin to have a problem with some of the players and even the head coach. A team that will be suitable for Osimhen is teams like Liverpool and Manchester City.

If I'm victor osimhem I will go to Arsenal because Arsenal is a bigger club than Galatasaray and Arsenal will give him the opportunity to get close to the champions League I may even win it with Arsenal but in Galatasaray I don't think they can come close to winning the champions League title, I know right now a lot of things will be going through his head because you cannot leave a place where they love you so much to a place you don't even know how it is going to be he may go to Arsenal and not play well so I believe he will be scared but he should forget about fear and go to Arsenal he will do more well there and he will become a bigger star in Arsenal and where he is right now, I know it's a very big decision because Galatasaray has showed him so much love the fans over their love him so much and going out from a place like that will be disturbing let's see how it will go if he will make the move or not anything he's decision is I will respect it and continue to love him and be his fan.

Arsenal made a mistake by rejecting him, if you want to argue about professionalism, then you should remember that Osimhen was already an African best player as at then, he was one of the highest goal scorers in the Italian league, for me I believe Arsenal really didn't have any excuse not sign him then. The good thing is that, if they have to sign him now, they would have to pay double of the amount he was worth then.

I've always said that if Arsenal or even Chelsea had wanted to sign Osimhen when Napoli was asking for a lot of money, those two clubs would easily have paid the amount Galatasaray was asking. The reason those two clubs didn't pay is probably because they analyzed Osimhen well and saw that having a player with his characteristics wasn't a high priority for them.

That's why they spent much more money than Galatasaray was asking on other players. But it's all good, because at Arsenal Osimhen wouldn't be the only center of attention; he might be constantly on the bench, and at Chelsea he'd be watching him miss the Champions League next season. In the end, Osimhen comes out on top. Now, leaving Galatasaray for a big club will be an extremely difficult mission.

This situation is totally and wholly depends on Victor Osimhen to decide, he's the man that knows what he wants, his ambitions and what he thinks will be better for him, And for the case of, if he goes to Arsenal and flop or not get recognised, yes, but you can't sit at home and know what is selling in the market, life is all about risk from the day one, if his mind moves him let him go to Arsenal and explore if they seek of his service, at least he did try than staying back while he still has interest and opportunity being presented.

I believe that emotions should not govern professional life. Arsenal rejected him because of their professionalism, as it is extremely tough to obtain a shot in a top team like Arsenal without a proven player. Now that Arsenal has indicated interest in him, and I believe the prospects here will be better than at Galatasaray, Victor Osimhen should take that opportunity. If Victor Osimhen chooses to stay in Galatasaray with his emotions, the journey to the big stage may be more difficult for him. We know Arsenal is a good side in the top league, so if he performs well there, his market worth will skyrocket. Fighting in top teams is essential for making the list of elite players. It is common for large teams to reject you if you do not demonstrate your abilities; yet, when that team believes you are worthy, it should be an honour for you.

Did Arsenal really reject him? They couldn’t sign him because of many reasons and not that they could but decided not to. His wages was too high for them, his release clause was also Massive at the time and because of financial fair play they just signed Declan Rice previously.

Let’s not forget Victor Osimhen once upon a time rejected Arsenal under Arsene Wenger to go to Wolfsburg for proper first team playing time.

If Arsenal are serious to sign him now there’s no bad blood why he shouldn’t go unless he still doesn’t want to play for Arsenal.

Maybe, Osimhen would be more suited to Liverpool or Man City because of his high intensity style, I agree. But I think Arsenal could be a great place for him if Arteta tweak the system a bit. Osimhen has immense physicality, aerial ability and pressing ability. Arsenal currently lack that in any centre forward.

Whether he fit in tactically or not is not an issue. What I am wondering is whether he can adapt to Arteta's slow, possession based game? Because you know he is used to playing very direct, high energy football that shake the pitch.

I believe that emotions should not govern professional life. Arsenal will need Osimhen more because of their inability to ever win the championship league. Very soon there will be more clubs that will be sourcing for him because of his great playing style and skill when playing. I just don't want him to enter a club where he would not be able to showcase his talent on the pitch while playing with the opposite team.

Arsenal has made a first mov to sign Victor Osimhen. If successful, it will help them in next season. And this will make him to come to Premier League. I first saw the news on social media and when I checked on Google, I saw it again.
Check here

In the last transfer window, Victor Osimhen was linked to plenty of big teams in different leagues but no big team could meet Victor Osimhen personal term or Napoli clause on Victor Osimhen, it was Galatasaray that finally got hold of Victor Osimhen. This one we are seeing news of Victor Osimhen being linked to Arsenal when the transfer window is not yet opened, i hope Victor Osimhen securing a big move will not be like the one we saw in the last transfer window. Arsenal is big team, but a striker as good as Victor Osimhen is what they are missing. If Arsenal will be able to sign Victor Osimhen there problem will be solved for good and they could win the league title next season.

For now let's keep watching and see how it goes until the transfer window opens up and we see if truly Victor Osimhen will go for Arsenal or any other team than me meet up with his conditions that you may also stated, but I doubt if Arsenal will be able to afford taking or meeting up with his conditions, do we can't fully predict until he also show his interest on the team he wish to go for when the time comes, well for now everything is still based on speculations and there is a probability that things may not go the way we are hearing them for now.
You are right, let's just wait until the transfer window opens up for us to see if Arsenal really mean business in signing Victor Osimhen or if it is only speculations, Victor Osimhen is a striker that could help any top team win trophies, and since Arsenal striker issues is still unsolved even after they signed Gyokeres, Arsenal will not play games in search of another striker this time when the transfer window opens up, if they believes Victor Osimhen is the striker that could lead them to title glory next season they will meet Victor Osimhen personal terms the same way they met Gyokeres personal terms.

If I were Victor Osimhen, I will never accept to play for Arsenal, I will rather stay at Galatasaray than playing for Arsenal and if I want to leave Galatasaray to another club I will sign for any Saudi club where I can earn a lot of money.
LoLz. But that is truth. Mikel Obi was also working seriously for Victor Osimhen to enter Chelsea but what he was asking for was on the high side if not Obi was eager for Victor Osimhen to join Chelsea. I don't think Obi will make such move this season again. And as you said I will prefer Victor Osimhen to join another team than Arsenal.
Well, I think Mikel Obi would pass for a weak football agent if he couldn't convince the Chelsea board members to meet the asking price of Victor Osimhen, we are talking about one of the best strikers in Europe and you think he was asking for some outrageous amount, well good things don't always come cheap so Osimhen was right to have chosen Galatasaray in place of the English side who couldn't meet his asking price at that moment. Galatasaray may not be able to offer the befitting platform to Osimhen but they were able to pay the price to have him and for me that's very important, it shows how much they value him.
Can’t blame Mikel Obi for using his platform to promote Osimhen as the best striker for Chelsea, too bad Todd Boehly and the sporting directors didn’t think it was worth the fee. IMO Oshimhen only have a couple of years to be at his peak, and it’s a waste of talent to spend those years in a club that’s not going to win champions league.

The season is about to end, i pray the deal between him and Arsenal go through. Chelsea will watch him play for Arsenal and only imagine the wonders he would have done if they had taken his signing a priority.

A striker at his prime, Chelsea didn't see the need to meet up with the demand, instead they preferred to run business, and now the team is struggling to stay top 6, with Osimhen, it would have been different, Chelsea ended up signing Delap, can't wait to see Osimhen move from Galatasaray and perform in a big stage that meets his standard.

Chelsea is not a serious club, they haven’t been since Todd Boehly’s takeover. Everyone could see Osimhen’s quality and work ethic right from Napoli days but they still fumbled the deal. I doubt if Osimhen playing for Arsenal will even bother them, the club’s ethos has changed from winning trophies to making profit. As for Arsenal, I’d be very disappointed if they miss out on signing Osimhen again.

let's just wait until the transfer window opens up for us to see if Arsenal really mean business in signing Victor Osimhen or if it is only speculations, Victor Osimhen is a striker that could help any top team win trophies, and since Arsenal striker issues is still unsolved even after they signed Gyokeres, Arsenal will not play games in search of another striker this time when the transfer window opens up, if they believes Victor Osimhen is the striker that could lead them to title glory next season they will meet Victor Osimhen personal terms the same way they met Gyokeres personal terms.
The statement or the news is too casual for now and there is no seriousness in it from Arsenal Director and as you said, let see how it will be. The last time when the matter was too complicated, Victor Osimhen made a statement that "he likes Galatasaray". And if Arsenal will like to move him out from Galatasaray, the price might be higher than last season. How the Agent will handle the case will determine everything too.

Sincerely speaking, that Osimhen and Chelsea deal that didn't go through was one of a disaster for Chelsea. Mikel Obi made consistent effort in making that deal see the light of the day, but it all went black. However i doubt if Arsenal would be ready to cough of such huge amount for Osimhen's release clause, they would rather play to the gallery, repeating exactly the same thing Chelsea did. They wouldn't want to pay such huge weekly wages for Osimhen, I believe they've been one club that have been trying to cut cost.

Arsenal is like a hunter that kills two birds with one stone. They do not want to spend much money on players, but they want good players in their team, and they the players are not complete till they approach them, and they believe their training could also keep players up and doing so, they could sell such a player for double what they bought or paid for the player.

Speaking of Osimhen, he is a good striker, and if Arsenal is serious about it, they should pay to get him; otherwise, they should just keep off and stop raising fans' hopes of getting the striker.

Honestly, Arsenal really made a mistake; this reason is not enough for me why they rejected Osimhen. Osimhen is one of the best players in all of Africa; everyone knows that some of the teams are jealous to have him as their player, but Arsenal is there, rejecting him, which is unfair. I don't see anything bad with Osimhen. Let's forget that currently he is playing for a small team; that doesn't mean a strong team will not sign him. Because even the majority of Arsenal players were also playing for small teams before they signed them into Arsenal, not everything is about professionalism.

At the risk of turning this thread into a premier league club debate, I have to say I strongly disagree with what you posted. Before you make such claims, look at the stats, how much did Arsenal spend on Gyokeres? If you said this during Arsene Wenger’s time, I’d agree that was the club’s business model but times have changed since then.

Arsenal have changed so much and that's something I can agree with, I know very well for sure that if the club was still under arsenal wenger they would definitely not make such huge money move for gyokeres rather maybe they will result to finding a young lad in their academy and use him for the position and also possibly sell him to higher profits when he is well grounded and have developed into something no one can turn a blind eye on.
