I wanted to laugh about this but there won't be need for that because this is a serious thing, there shouldn't be any excuse from super eagles this time, looking at the group they are expected to win all their matches because there's no team in this particular group that should pose a threat to them, but as we know this people, just expect excuses as usual, i have not seen any different thing, so we shouldn't expect anything unless there will be changes from now till then, we have jokers and politicians in the helm of affairs of NFF,  the teams itself is not that organized for now, although we hope to see changes.

On failing to qualify for the World Cup, some people claimed it wasn't entirely the fault of the coach( Eric Chelle )because his predecessor (Finidi George) had already lost some vital points before he came into the scene, now we have another phase of qualifiers and Eric chelle is in charge fully and now has the responsibility of ensuring that the Super Eagles qualify for the next AFCON.
It's a clean slate for the Coach and no excuses would be tolerated this time around, besides that, Nigerians are expecting much from him especially after losing out the last AFCON against host nation Morocco.

They did not do well during the AFCON because they did not even put any energy into it, as they only seemed to just participate without winning anything, and I don't think its is suppose to be so, after all the trust we had for them. It was too obvious that cafe wanted Morocco to win at all cost and that is the reason why they, want ahead to awarding the Afcon Trophy to them through the back door. One thing is certain CAF has set a very wrong precedence which is likely to be continued because CAF will always dance to the tune of anyone who hosts the Afcon tournament. The level of corruption in football in recent years is becoming so alarming that football now appears to be scripted. During that Tournament at Morocco, if was so obvious that CAF prepared the title for them. So many favouritism and unnecessary awarding of free kicks and fouls. Senegal knew all this and and came in clean to the game. The whole drama on the final day was very unnecessary from the origin, but Senegal seem to be ready to play the game until they won on the pitch. The next thing was declaring Morocco winners off field.

It is right to assume that the caf leadership is not to be trusted and of course, before you make your decision, first consider who is hosting the game and knowing if the team is a bit strong they will be preferentially treated. However, next year's own may not be like others because it will be hosted by 3 countries joined today, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. So it would be more transparent than the previous one.

How can players be playing for their country and they are not paying them well or treating them well what kind of a country is that how will this players play with their all, and the funny thing is that if this players get injured the Nigeria government won’t even give them proper treatment or care, when the Nigeria players were playing the World Cup qualifiers they were having issues with the Nigeria government because they refused to pay them their wages now tell me how will this kind of players give their best for their country, the corruption in Nigeria is just too much and if something is not done it will continue this way.

However, I only suspect how they were favoured in some matches, but other teams were favoured as well. Those are teams will play with Nigeria again and for the current Super Eagles squad if only this is what will display in the qualifiers matches, Super Eagles will definitely do well this time. I have not supported Super Eagles in the qualifiers stage or group stage in the past but for now they are not in bad shape. But their first and second matches in the qualifiers stage will tell us their next matches.

African nations that have the resources to build standard or world class stadium should walk towards that so they can be hosting African tournaments, and it will also relieve Morocco the boarding of always hosting African tournaments.

Expectations have been our biggest problem, we expect so much from people who do so little. I’m not sure Nigerian Super Eagles have ever been drawn in a tough group for qualifiers, we have always had the easy teams but we end up messing it up.

Though if it’s African Cup of Nations Qualifiers they have a better chance of qualifying where they have the most issues is with the World Cup qualifiers.
