The Moroccan national football team is indeed the African champion we all know, despite the fact that they were robbed of their supposed African Cup of Nations trophy. Now the evidence has become very clear as to who the real champion is. Among other African countries, Morocco's style and level of football are quite different and aren't comparable to how other Africans play their games. They've eliminated one of the host nations, Canada, and it was a clear thrashing.

Morocco is a very strong team. I considered Morocco as  the favorite in the match against the host Canada. And they  performed brilliantly.

Canada attacked more in the match. They made a total of 10 shots. On the other hand, Morocco attacked relatively less, but each of their attacks was well-planned. The most interesting thing is that in this match, moroccan players managed to make  only 5 shots. 4 of them were on  target. And Morocco managed to score  3 goals. I know how hard the match against Argentina will be for Egypt but to be fair, Argentina cannot be called on fire in this competition. Their performance in the qualifiers was way better than the one here. Teams in their group stage were among the weakest comparing to the other groups, yet they didn't score as many goals as some European nations like Germany, Norway or Netherlands. Against Cape Verde, the situation was even worse. They were at stake of being kicked if they went through penalties. Nevertheless, Egypt is not a top team after all. They can beat them but they have to progress a bit in their style.

I agree with you, Morocco has one of the most formidable set of players in this World cup, some of them might not be too much of superstars but trust me they are so coordinated to a point, They have very solid defense, they cut in between defenders and easily create passes for themselves in the midfield, They are offensive with their attack and they put pressure on their opponent consistently, That's how deadly the Moroccan team can be. However they are up against in France team that has the Mbappe and lots of experience European players that are also formidable, so for me it is the clash of the titans, regardless of the fact that the odds are in favor of France, I will still have to give Morocco their flower, so on this particular game, I'll be sitting on the fence.

Although Morocco have qualified for  the quarter finals,  but the funny part is that both Morocco and Egypt will face the last world cup finalists which is France and Argentina. This is a tougher match for the remaining African teams, especially Egypt that haven't reach the quarter finals because I don't have confidence that they can stand a chance of defeating Argentina. As for Morocco I'm praying for victory for them against France because it's going to be a difficult game for the both teams and I will be very if Morocco  beat France and qualify to the semi final.

I also feel it’s going to be a difficult match for Morocco, I really want them to win France in their next match, but if we compare the sqaud that the two countries are having, then France is just having higher chances to win their next match, but am sure Morocco are also going to struggle in the match, they will want to get a win, I don’t think any country will get to the quarter final, and won’t fight to processed to the next round.

I just hope Morocco will be able to make Africans proud in the match, it’s really going to be so nice if they can get a win against France. I know football is full of surprises, so maybe Morocco can decide to surprise us in the match.

I'm glad to read the positivity surrounding Morocco, and it's no wonder; it's a thread about African teams. But seriously, I like Morocco, especially after watching France play against Paraguay. They can contain France's goal-scoring prowess and offensive potential. Wouldn't it be wonderful for football to see a Morocco-Argentina final? And what can I say? Maybe even Egypt? I mean, we have to take it one game at a time. Argentina hasn't won their match against Egypt yet. A famous commentator from my country back in the 90s predicted that an African team would become champion before 2030. His prediction always earned my respect and curiosity, because they made fun of him on that program. Thinking about it, this World Cup might give us an unprecedented final with no former world champions: Morocco-Colombia. (!?)

This is actually a difficult game for both countries and sadly they are the only African sides left after a poor run at the round of 32. For me Egypt needs to look at other teams that have beaten tough opponents been the underdog and take their braveness into this games, a good example is the Cabo Verde team against Argentina in the round of 32, I think if the North African side can actually test Argentina to that length they will get to the extra 30 minutes out of the regular time they will be bowing out at this tournament in an excellent way and would even be applauded. Cabo Verde has actually open up the game to everyone that no nation is actually untouchable in game of football most especially this World Cup that has actually been full of surprises.

As for Morocco they simply need not to fear, the Paraguay team actually held this France until late minutes even if fans called it brutal football. Morocco simply just have to look at France like a team they were at the last editions with and played against each other in the semifinals this will tell them how great they have been too.

Unfortunately Morocco will not be able to beat France come Thursday. Unlike their outing with Germany, France is far too tight knitted for them. I have watched the past matches of both sides in the on going tournament and I can tell you that France is the better side.
I have said it before and u will say it again, the finals of the World Cup will be between France and Argentina.

It’s an impossibility until someone does it. Morocco were able to make it to three semi finals last time, and have made it to the quarter finals this year. If by some miracle, they are able to cause an upset against France, then the title is as good as theirs. After watching Cabo Verde hold Argentina hostage, I was kinda grateful that Nigeria didn’t make it to the World Cup because they would have caused me much sorrow in the World Cup. 

There is no such thing as impossible when it comes to football, everything is possible, It only takes one moment. It is true that France is the most dangerous teams throughout this world cup final, but if Morocco can get a win over France, then we might see an African team in the finals for the first time.

Being grateful that your country didn't qualify is not a good mindset for a true sports fan. The World cup is not African football or friendlies, the World cup has it one spirit. I don't think any african would have dreamt that Cabo Verde could make it out of the group stages, but they did it. If it was AFCON, they wouldn't make it through the group stage for sure. Remember they is no star player or world class player in Cabo Verde that carried them, but they still created history. This is why the World cup is different. Oshimen and Iwobi are the only player we can look up to in the Nigerians national team, they should have qualified for the World cup first, then we can now judge them by their performance.
