Africa nations has really impressed me a lot in this world cup, especially teams like Cape Verde (drawing Uruguay and Spain), south Africa(Finally qualifying against all odds), and lastly Morocco. I think Morocco is only team I feel will really go far in this world cup after the performance they displayed in their group stage. Especially against Brazil, it was a fantastic match.
Morocco has been doing so well in recent football that we ignore the achievements recently in trying to qualify for the next stage of the World Cup and everyone looks like it is a normal thing because of how much quality they have in their team.
The Moroccan side are best representative of Africa currently because the ability might think that I have the capability of getting even to the semi finals of the World Cup with how well they play in attacking and how well they defend. Ghana has been disappointing to me, maybe it is due to the injuries that they suffered to some players who could make a difference before the world cup started.
Morocco is not a mediocre team, they are equal to any team they meet in this world cup. For me I see it as a normal game for them and I won't be surprised watching them entire the final of this tournament. Their ball control is not at the African level and in all fairness, Morocco for me remains the most complete team in Africa with the confidence and fearlessness to face any team as long as Football concerned. Senegal is playing a struggling game and fighting to win and even about going into the next round as best loosers unlike Morocco.
Ghana is not much of a disappointment because they don't match the strength of Croatia in all fairness and securing a draw against England is not something easy so let's give them their flowers. If any team has disgraced the continent, it should be Tunisia who was conceding goals carelessly.
