OPEN BETA / Brief Status UpdateThe OPEN BETA end date will be extended approximately until December 5-7 due to the preparation of new backend and frontend patches that include fixes for all bug reports submitted since Day 1. It is essential to thoroughly test the updated version before progressing with the release of Bridgoro. We apologize for extending the testing period, but this additional time is necessary to refine the critical components of the exchange. Additionally, this week we will announce our plans for expanding beyond our current scope and how we intend to evolve beyond being only a semi-decentralized P2P exchange. For those who couldn't join the OPEN BETA earlier or believe that all bugs have already been identified, the upcoming patch provides a fresh opportunity to test Bridgoro without reviewing previous reports. Since the new patch will address all earlier issues, it would also be very helpful if some of you could retest previously reported bugs. Furthermore, we want to highlight one more update. Due to the low number of testers in the Telegram Beta Chat, we will expand the bug-reporting environment to Bitcointalk as well. Users will be able to submit their reports either in Telegram or in the Bitcointalk new thread. As stated in the OPEN BETA rules, in case of duplicate reports, only the first submission will be counted according to the posted timestamp. For now, we kindly ask all testers to take a short break for a few days, so we can update Bridgoro with the implemented fixes. NOTE: All previously submitted bug reports in the Telegram channel are already counted and will remain valid until the end of the OPEN BETA. Thank you for your kind support! Also OPEN BETA Bitcointalk thread will be published here once we finish preparing the patch.

OPEN BETA / Brief Status Update [Day 14]We can finally share the exact details for the further stage of the OPEN BETA. The new patch which includes fixes for all previously reported bugs will be deployed tomorrow during the day. We will notify everyone once Bridgoro ( https://bridgoro.com/) is available for testing again. What's new?- The new patch will fix all bugs found earlier (at least we hope so). - The database will be wiped, so all participants will need to register again. This reset is necessary to avoid conflicts with the new patch. - New exchange offers will be created by us across most trading pairs (your own offers will also be helpful). - Due to the low number of participants, we are adding Bitcointalk as a second platform for submitting bug reports. - The new OPEN BETA end date is December 7. - After testing ends, we will need some time to fix any newly discovered bugs, and then we will move forward with the official release of Bridgoro. OPEN BETA / Updated Details1/ Participants can submit bug reports either in the dedicated Telegram chat or in the Bitcointalk thread. 2/ OPEN BETA end date: December 7. 3/ Rewards for the TOP 10 most active testers will be distributed no later than December 10. 3/ All previously reported bugs can be tested again after the patch. 4/ The first submitted bug report will be counted based on its timestamp to avoid duplicates across both platforms (Telegram / Bitcointalk). 5/ As usual, participants may submit suggestions to improve the project. If the suggestions are valuable, they will also be counted. 6/ Bug reports must be clear, reproducible, and include screenshots when possible. 7/ Rewards distribution remains the same: Rank Reward 1st Place $400 2nd Place $300 3rd Place $250 4th Place $200 5th Place $100 6th–10th Places $50 each
Total Pool $1,500 Join OPEN BETA in Telegram or Bitcointalk

OPEN BETA is LIVE againThe new patch has been deployed, and all Beta participants can resume testing. Unfortunately, during our internal tests we encountered several bugs that will be fixed over the next few days in the upcoming patch update. Known bugs:- Session Expiration BugIf you see an [ Invalid Auth Token] popup, please refresh the page and then you should be logged out automatically. If not, log out manually and log back in. - Unexpected Error PopupIf this message appears, simply ignore it. It occurs when your internet connection becomes unstable, even for a brief moment. But if you encounter it constantly and your connection is stable, then please report the bug with a brief description. - Content Security Policy (CSP)We experienced unstable behavior and several issues while using CSP, so it is not enabled in this patch. We will take additional time to test and update the relevant code to ensure stable performance in future releases. We've created a large number of Exchange Offers with different trading pairs, and we would like to ask you to test the exchange feature. Please submit reports even for successful trades. FYI: Testing the exchange feature grants more points to the participant. Join the OPEN BETA on Telegram or on Bitcointalk

That's a relief as an old participant of the beta test campaign I really enjoyed using this platform and I can't wait to use it again and be a part of it to make it better again and I just checked the telegram reports and the reports made on BTT and a very reputable member whom I really respect is even participating haha which means many are interested really great work and again I did'nt congratulate you before on your signature campaign and the changing of the theme of ANN it all looks very great now. Best of luck.

Thanks for your support, buddy. We are glad that many participants from the first Beta are still interested in the project.

We are reviewing all duplicated reports and will count only the first submission based on its timestamp. I'm sure you remember that there are only two developers behind this project, so it's difficult for us to repost every bug report here on Bitcointalk. We are already in a crunch by reviewing reports on two platforms, fixing them at the same time, and communicating with the community. We are doing our best, but our capabilities are limited.

My suggestion was to make it easy for people here on Bitcointalk to follow through and know what to report on and what to leave out to avoid duplicate work, but all good if this will be filtered out.

I opened an account on Bridgoro.com. What does it mean to say Claim Task Daily (Test 2) in the Earnings page? Is this for testing purposes? I didn't complete any task, I just claimed it and got 12 BRGX. 12 BRGX means 12 dollars, that's awesome. I will complete the remaining 2 tasks very soon, withdraw 50 BRGX, and see if the withdrawal goes smoothly or not. The maximum offers on the Explore Offers page are for large amounts, but I was looking for some smaller offers of 5-10 dollars. However, if I don't get any, I will create my own offer.

Glad to see you've joined the OPEN BETA.First, please send all your questions, bug reports, and any other Beta-related messages to the Beta Test thread. As you know, Bridgoro is in the OPEN BETA stage, so everything you see ( tasks, exchange offers, etc) is created strictly for testing purposes. Claim Tasks are a type of task that can be claimed without doing anything. For example, a Claim Task might be for logging in each day. Every time you log in, you can claim it for free. Another task type is the Proof-Required Task, where you must complete the task and then submit your proof of completion in the task comments. BRGX cannot be withdrawn during the OPEN BETA and has no value at this stage. The minimum exchange amount must be higher than $10 USD equivalent. We don't see an issue with this since all testing is done in a testnet environment, meaning no real funds are used. Before participating in the OPEN BETA, I strongly recommend reading our GitBook page dedicated to OPEN BETA. In the guidelines, you’ll find everything you need: How to install testnet wallets and How to obtain free testnet tokens for each blockchain.

I just wanted to ask if your service has any safeguards in place that will assure that users don't receive "tainted" coins.
By receiving such coins your users could face issues with CEX-es down the line if they decide to send funds there later on.

Buffer wallets accept only the native coins of the specific blockchains selected for the exchange. Moreover, all transactions must be confirmed by the blockchain, so there is absolutely no chance that a user will receive anything other than real crypto.

I red the post you included and I agree that flagging some coins as tainted could lead to users view BTC as less fungible. Seizing coins because they were stolen 5 years ago and exchanged 20 owners in meantime should not be option, and sadly I also believe some exchanges see it as a way to get some more funds. Also what happens to coins that were used in crimes and seized by government and later used as BTC reserve? They were "dirty" to the moment they got in hands of government, and from that moment on they are "clean"? That being said, using "tainted" coins can still carry the risk of losing them (for example I may exchange BTC for USDC) and most users would like to avoid that uncomfortable situation.

Sorry, buddy, my fault. I skimmed your message and replied too quickly, so I misunderstood it. At this stage, we can't guarantee whether a user might send "tainted" or "stolen" coins. However, after the release, we are considering implementing a coin-checking mechanism on buffer wallets. In cases where "dirty" coins are detected, the Exchange Offer would simply roll back those funds. We will include this important information in the T&C and also display it in a popup screen when the user opens Bridgoro.
Ovcijisir is referring to the notion of taint, which is not only an attack on Bitcoin's fungibility, it's also fundamentally flawed as taint is in the eye of the beholder. Yeah, I got it! Thanks for pointing it out. I just didn't read that message carefully

We are glad that you are taking the time to double-check your previously reported bugs. This effort really helps us.

Totally agree with you. We had a discussion about this exact situation with LoyceV during the first Beta. Of course, we will do our best to improve Bridgoro and add new features, including additional security measures. But since our team consists of only two developers with a very limited budget, we can't cover everything or implement all ideas and suggestions before the release.

Technically it's not, because it's not like there is bulk feedback coming from telegram/Bitcointalk to fill up a whole page.. and seeing how they respond to all input from their testers.. it's actually not alien as they are already providing answers to queries and feedback about the Bridgoro platform. Or if you think doc file is not what you want to do, you can just copy everything and give it to chatgpt haha and then after finding a bug you can ask chatgpt if anyone has already reported it. That's right, tainted coins do carry risk and these centralized exchanges, with every day, are trying to find such cases so they ask for more documents and maybe they can let you go but in the process, they try to get to the root of it. But no one wants trouble and I am glad the the bridgoro team is open to implementing aml check system for both parties so they get clean coins, otherwise, if I have tainted coins, I could easily sell them to anyone here. That can become a major problem for the other party and that party is not going to come again. Therefore, the efforts to make it great by the team are appreciated.

Do not accept such things as final. Different AML check tools can give quite different results. Recently, a large number of users did an AML check of the coins obtained from a well-known mixer, and the results used to be quite different depending on which AML checker was used. It should not be expected that only "clean" coins will be obtained with Bridgoro, because there are other factors that will influence that.
