Bridgoro Review

Introduction

Bridgoro is semi-decentralized exchange where users can exchange XMR, BTC, SOL, ETH, and Tron directly with other users, and during the exchange there's no third-party involved. The users create liquidity themselves as trade offers and it works as P2P, for smooth functioning of such operation, Bridgoro provides escrow buffer wallet so the funds of both parties are safe during trade.

Bridgoro allows secure and anonymous transactions between users, but users have to create an account on the platform in order to use it. So it doesn't work like other instant exchanges where users can exchange their coins without need of an account, but those instant exchanges either rely on third party liquidity providers or they've their own liquidity pools, where on Bridgoro, it's basically a trade offer from one user that's executed and completed by the other user, and the platform act as escrow to secure funds of both parties during trades.

Registering an Account at Bridgoro

I began testing of this platform by creating an account. Creating an account at Bridgoro is somewhat difficult for new users, when I was creating an account, I faced some issue. To register my account on Bridgoro I used Tor browser for high privacy, the site loaded without any issue using Tor but during account creation I faced some issues. The first issue is  CAPTCHA verification, you'll have to complete CAPTCHA verification multiple times. But that's not the biggest issue, the biggest issue users face during account creation is when someone pastes his/her e-mail address during account registration, the platforms doesn't detect such copy/paste e-mail address, and it doesn't allow sign up when someone paste their e-mail address.

I tried to create an account by copy/pasting my e-mail address that's what I do at most websites, but Bridgoro platform wasn't able to detect the pasted e-mail address and the sign up button was disabled. I refreshed the site multiple times, completed CAPTCHA multiple times, however during all those times I faced the same issue. After many tries, I decided to write my e-mail address to register the account instead of copy/pasting it, and then I was able to create an account on Bridgoro. I must say that Bridgoro team should fix this account creation issue because if this issue remains then many users won't be able to create accounts and they won't be able to use the platform.

Trading at Bridgoro

Once my account was registered, I decided to test the platform with a trade. For that I clicked on "Explore Offers" button, and selected BTC to Sol for this particular trade. I clicked on trade button and the offer loaded within a second, the service fee was 0 for the trade, I simply accepted the offer and proceeded to next step. I was transferred to deal page where I entered the amount for trading, and my receiving wallet, at first I selected $16.83 worth of Bitcoin, and then I found that minimum trading amount was around $30 in Bitcoin, so I selected $31.06 for this trade and pasted my Solana receiving wallet address,  after that I clicked on create deal button.

I was taken to "Deal Details" page where I got around 180 minutes to complete the deposit. I sent Bitcoin to that buffer address and once a confirmation was completed I clicked on "Confirm Deposit" button, and in next window, I again clicked "Yes, confirm it" button. Now on Deal Details page Deposit confirmed by user message appeared, and within a minute it changed to Partially confirmed. I waited for more confirmations, the trade was completed within 2 hours. To be honest, it was a good trading experience at Bridgoro.

Some Suggestions to Bridgoro owner

1. The CAPTCHA verification at the platform is very annoying, it should be limited, especially during account registration.
2. The platform should allow and detect copy/pasting of e-mail addresses for registration.
3. If possible, the minimum deposit amount should be reduced to $20 or lower.
4. More coins should be added for traders.

Conclusion

Overall, It was a good experience using this platform, during account creation/registration I faced some issues, and I had to complete CAPTCHA verification multiple times. But the platform was fully functional and operational, and users can use Bridgoro to convert Bitcoin to Solana or to other available coins with good level of security.  One can securely trade on this platform without any issues, and everything on the platform works well. My trade was completed successfully and I received my coins at my Solana wallet, it was a good experience trading on Bridgoro.

Bridgoro is not an instant exchange, but a p2p (peer-to-peer) trading platform. It's even clearly written in the first screenshot you posted. There are certain differences in the method of functioning.
Also, in the whole process, you have a third party that mediates as an escrow.

I've edited that part, by the way in title of this thread we can see Bridgoro as Instant Crypto Exchange. However, you're right it works as a P2P trading platform and as a semi-decentralized exchange, I've edited that part and removed instant exchange from it.

It is not your fault, brother, because it is meant to be a p2p exchange, where I can exchange my funds with someone else's funds, like fiat to crypto (in p2p), but here we can only exchange crypto to crypto. But I think after so many updates they have planned to convert it into an instant exchange, but I don't see this feature live yet, so it is still a P2P exchange.

Project Update

Hey guys, hope you are all doing well!
First of all, we are sorry for the long period without any updates.
We spent so much time developing Bridgoro that we underestimated our financial situation.
Right now we have to focus on our day jobs to cover expenses so it will take us a little time to get back on our feet before we can fully resume Bridgoro's development.
That said we are incredibly grateful for the continued support from the Bitcointalk community.
It's great to see that many of you are still following the project and taking the time to share your reviews and feedback.

However supporting privacy-focused users is definitely part of our long-term plans and we are considering launching an onion version of Bridgoro in the future.
Regarding CAPTCHA: this is unfortunately a common issue for Tor users.
Anyone using Tor browser will encounter similar problems on the vast majority of websites not just Bridgoro.

During the beta phase we experimented with different minimum exchange amounts and encountered numerous issues related to dust transactions.
Based on those tests we determined that $30 is currently the optimal minimum.
Depending on future network fees we may increase this limit to around $60.
Additionally once the fee-free period ends, Bridgoro will introduce a small trading fee of approximately 0.3% - 0.5% making very small transactions even more impractical.
We also researched similar exchange platforms and found that Bridgoro already offers one of the lowest minimum exchange amounts available.

More coins should be added for traders.

Yes! We absolutely plan to add more cryptocurrencies.
Development will continue as soon as we finish our current work project.
Like any small independent team, we have to balance development with paying the bills but Bridgoro remains an active project and we look forward to continuing its growth.

The team behind Bridgoro has  put great effort in building something very useful for crypto community. Those who're looking for P2P exchanges should definitely try Bridgoro.

Yes, that could be the case because I've tested the platform on Tor browser and that might be the reason why I faced those issues. I hope in future updates Bridgoro will get optimized for Tor users. It's true that Tor users face that CAPTCHA issue on many websites but there are some exchanges where users of Tor browser don't face any such issues, those platforms are well optimized for Tor browser.

I personally think that a platform like Bridgoro should definitely get optimizations for Tor browser because many users prefer to use such services via Tor. However I must say that even using Tor browser I was able to create an account and use the platform, I know I faced some issues that I mentioned in the review but overall it was still a good experience.

In that case the minimum exchange amount set on Bridgoro is fully justified. However, it's better to not increase it a lot in early stages but when the platform gains a good number of active users probably in 1000's  or more then the minimum should be increased as those users won't mind having higher minimum amount.

Yes, that makes sense because for a small independent team it's going to take sometime to balance out things but I must say you people are doing a great job, just keep it up and overtime Bridgoro will see good growth. Of course once most of the features are added then the platform might need some marketing to gain more exposure and new users. For that Icopress is there and Bridgoro team already worked with him and know how good he's at marketing.
