Malware, virus, keylogger, bad firewall, bad antivirus - common options in that case.

That is sad. Next time use Malware Bytes https://www.malwarebytes.org/ and one other Anti Virus software like McAfee. Use them simultaneously!

In the future use a stronger longer password. You should also not use the same password.

bitdefender - none better
used to use pfsense hardware firewall but now just use zone alarm.
IMHO:
Best - Bitdefender and PFSense
Good - Bitdefender and software firewall e.g. zonealarm
Free and OK - Avast Free and Zonealarm Free

Transfer your coins in a wallet which is not connected to the internet. Make wallet backup in a pen drive and only keep very low amount for general use

i do not really know what a firewall is In that case you were probably using the inbuilt windows firewall which is one of the worst. A firewall decides what software on your computer can access the internet and blocks any other software's attempts to connect to the internet. Some firewalls like zone alarm have default settings which automatically only give internet access to software the devs consider safe. Other firewalls are more secure but ask you to decide what programs can access the internet. These firewalls require more work from you but provide better security.

The real question is what programs did you install, and what websites did you browse before before it all happened.
The biggest defense is to be smart about what you install on your computer and how you browse the internet.
