Right or Wrong Way :How did you start your gambling journey and how is it going?

Guys who have not been gambling since and only started gambling when they got into crypto especially in this forum actually just learn gambling because they see more casinos in crypto. One that I remember a user started to learn to gamble because he joined a signature campaign.

And just to try how the casino works, he been betting then on.  This is likely what had happened to some of us here as they tried learning crypto. Not so very nice experience but only because he was curious.

I started playing out of curiosity. And my beginning comes from this forum; constantly reading the section on gambling, I could not resist trying everything to my taste. Moreover, I attracted my friends; now we sometimes play together, but it does not go beyond the boundaries of entertainment to any passion or gambling addiction. There were no big wins, but sometimes the games are very addictive; however, I do not think that I am destined to fall into the clutches of gambling. I have too many other needs to spend all the money exclusively on games.

I might have started on that wrong foot but I have been able to retrace my steps and try to make amends...the best thing you can do for yourself is doing a little self reflecting and identifying the things that doesnt work out for you...I had to list out what my triggers were to gambling addiction and I worked on improving myself...every gambler has their experience but the most important thing is learning from them

For me, started right, went wrong and there were many cris crosses. Now I'm on right path but I can't guarantee myself that I would stay on it.
Whether fun or desire to win or beat the system, the more important thing is to gamble responsibly. We are spending our money on several things many of them are non productive but gambling is a hobby that could easily get addictive and you might not always be in control specially when you are new in gambling or expecting too much from it. The right way is to set a budget and never go over it even if you know the next match is fixed. Well thought and responsible gambling would make your money last much longer while you keep having fun.

Still gambling until now. If not for crypto, I don’t think I’d be a regular gambler. Back in the day fiat casinos required too many documents, and I didn’t want to deal with that. Good thing I found this forum as it opened up a lot of gambling options for me, starting with dice in the past, then casinos, and later sports betting. It’s become like a one-stop shop, and all the casinos I play with are the ones that already built a good reputation here.

Of course, I made a lot of mistakes when I was still immature. I started  gambling when i was still young, so it was expected I’d mess up. but all of that became part of the learning experience, and I’m thankful for it because now I’ve grown into a more responsible gambler. I still aim for profit, but at least I know the limits of what I can risk.

I started gambling from physical shop, i never understood how to use the machine including some moves, so i had someone gamble on my behalf, but the funds was mine. There are things i didn't do even when i started my gambling journey, i was never obsessed that i spent more than i had, never been close to becoming an addict or spend whole day in the casino.

As of lately, my gambling journey is far more experienced and controlled than it was when i started. I had really bad emotions each time i lose my bankroll, right now i can calmly accept my losses without hard feelings.

I think it might be this for me. To hear winnings is always inspiring and tempting. As the saying by John F Kennedy, “Success has many fathers, but failure is an orphan.” So to hear people announce huge winnings and making merry, you want to also participate in what has brought them such joy, even when you are told how many tries and how difficult it was before such joy. That was the beginning of it and thinking you would do better was actually deceitful. It is an adventure that you get your experience while you are in and you decide by yourself how to go about it.

Normally most of us here started playing gambling with different target, which have lead most gamblers into more losses just because they have this feeling that they can easily make it in gambling. However, you made a very good decision because having self control in gambling is actually what makes you a good gambler because even till now there are gamblers that doesn't know when to stop which is causing them more losses, without realizing that gambling is not a place to make money overnight.

Right from time I have never thought of becoming rich quick through gambling because I know is not possible to get rich overnight in gambling so I normally do it in a responsible way.

My gambling journey started with my friends. We used to play different games like football or cricket. We used to bet. But back then we didn't know that it was gambling.

And then I gradually grew up. And I came to know about casinos. I came to know about it online. Casinos were not available in my city. And one day I found a gambling site and I bet. I won some money in the beginning. But I lost a lot. And that happened before I became an adult.

I have seen you posted exactly this before which means you are saying the truth. I think you started to gamble when you joined a gambling site signature campaign. If you have been on this forum many years before that time, I think you can not gamble for money but you just to know how it is, unlike me that have started gambling since many years ago before I joined this forum and the main reason was to make money but I lost money to have experience that gambling is not a way of making money.

I believe that majority of gamblers started gambling the wrong way which is to make profit. I was triggered by my friend's win way back which made me feel that I can also win big if I start gambling. That was how I started gambling seriously but after a while and learning more about gambling, I realized that I cannot win the casino rather, I am going to lose more to the casino if I continue gambling on for profit.

However, I started gambling from high school with my friends and siblings but we weren't taking it too serious because we were doing it for fun then. This is the same advice that I give to gamblers that feel they can win a fortune through gambling, that they'll end up losing more than they win and become addicted if they don't stop chasing their losses.

Many gamblers started gambling the wrong way but after many trials for them to win but couldn't thy have to change or stop entirely. The truth is that many didn't started gambling for fun, but to make money from it. Like me I stated gambling because among my friends I wasn't a gambler, I let them influence me but later discovered that it can not make me rich , so I reduce my stake and gamble for entertainment. Forum also helped me to realize that I can't make money through gamble.

There is no right way or wrong way to start gambling as an individual. I would say all way is the same, and honestly the end will justify the means. Most people casually, started gambling while others are thrilled the winnings around them, from colleagues, friends or family but what should matter the most is how you handle it over time not how you started. For me, I started gambling by just trying to experience what it feels like to bet on games, and now I've learned more to it. Its about balance, control and management.

I think what ops mistakes to be weong way or right way to gamble is based on his individual experience and not a generally accepted concept and for that we  eed to put in things that make generally accepted term and not sharing individuals own experiences as a lesson or a way to gamble.

If you gamble, it means there's a thing that you risk; it won't ever be called a gamble if you don't bet.
Those games Tongits and Pusoy are card games; if there's no money involved, then it's just a normal card game.

I think if I remember correctly, the first gamble that I played was Lucky 9 because that is the easiest one; it looks like baccarat. I think mine isn't the right way because I was a minor around 9 years old when I started to become addicted to Lucky 9 every time there's a burial near.

From your analysis I'll say that I started gambling the wrong way, didn't know how old I was but I was quite young and I was desperate to win a football in a scratch and win. I used all the money that I had on me that was meant for something else to gamble, after scratching with all of it I didn't win the football. I detested gambling after that experience but when I became an adult I decided to give it a try again and I've been responsible so far. I think that my early experience helped to shape my view about gambling that it's not a get rich quick scheme, just try your luck with small amounts that you can afford to loose.

I gambled the right way. Mostly to have fun and then started to get serious but I've realized the more I become serious with it, the more losses that I might get.
And those that have started it the wrong way, it's fine because we all make mistakes and introduced to things the wrong way.

It definitely started wrong way for me, and i don't know anyone who started it as level headed strategist, even though many people see themselves as such.
And these people either quit, lose everything or adjust their expectations.

All of the people i know got into gambling because they won big or semi big at some point and they are wishful to recreate that win. So they start to believe there's a science to it, like traders do. Even though it's a open secret that luck plays significant part of it, they blame bad luck for losing and their insights for winning.

I started with the right foot I would say by just betting on a Champions League game in 1999 or 2000 don't remember now just to have fun and I kept it that way for many years, just playing sport betting until 2007 when I was hooked heavily by gambling and started playing slots. That was a very bad decision as with the passing of time that lead me to addiction for a lot of years I would say and my mental health was not the best during these years. These were until I found crypto casinos which I enjoyed despite still losing a lot in cryptos I hit my max multipliers which kept me playing for other years until almost 1 year ago I left gambling completely in a way that I am not addicted anymore and life still has a meaning for me now.

i think i started the way you did. from your explanation of wrong and right way of starting gambling, i started gambling from the wrong way by being attracted to significant wins, and it increased my curiosity to win more. well as time goes on i have learnt to adopt the right way as it is the best way to gamble because it gives you the room to have fun and at the same time to make money plus having self control over addiction.
