I hate that they do the draw in advance. It was so much better before - you pass the round and then your next opponent is drawn.

Really don't understand why they changed it - it was a really exciting moment for all fans. You hoped a weaker team might progress and then hoped you get lucky - and that feeling's totally gone now.

CL's top part of the draw is also significantly stronger than the bottom part.

I think we need to switch to a different model altogether. Some kind of manual assignment of pairs with mandatory rotation from year to year. It is clear that the reality of the Europa League is completely different, but in the Champions League there is an imbalance and the pairings we see year after year are boring for everyone.

I feel like @KTChampions and @Saint-loup are impossible to catch now, as long as all the results from here on are mainly favorites. Only major upsets in the next stage continuously can jeopardize their positions. After QF onwards, the points are too few to make any difference.

And probably none of results, maybe except Forest - Mitjylland is big upset. And we have no pairs where everything is descided after 1st leg. Most of games today ended with wins of favorites. Maybe only is Lyon -Celta is exception, but not sure that's big upset. And in both games red cards was decisive factor. In first game Celta haven't won mainly because of red card, while today early red card killed Lyon.
Best game today without any doubts is Roma - Bologna, not often you can see so many goals in knockout game, especially when two Italian teams is playing

It is clear that the randomness is high, but this is not the issue, it is too late to assess the risk after the event has occurred.

Here's the thing: yesterday I bet on Betis, but the position size was small. It was a big mistake, as it was effectively Real Madrid vs. Porto. 45% for a home win, where only a win is needed, was literally free money.

In the end they deserved to go in next stages, penalties are a mental game and Midtyjlland was very poor with that.

Oh, sorry, I guess I missed your post. I believe you without screenshots, it seems that most of the pool participants have skin in the game, so it is logical to assume that we are betting on what we think, at least from time to time.
Yesterday I took the "reliable" Betis and Freiburg, overall I'm happy, except that Betis' victory was much more obvious and had value, so it was possible to make a bigger bet.
I have high expectations for the weekend - the teams' moods are clear and cash betting will be good.
