Thanks for your question. There's a detailed explanation of the Insane Coin Posse in the first post of this thread. Please take a look, then if you have any more questions, just let me know. Thanks, Papa Nutt

JuggaloCoin (JUG) is different. JuggaloCoin is focused on a specific community of PEOPLE, and offers huge benefits for them. You may remember my pesky questions earlier in the thread. Believe it or not, they were a taste of the standard questions that are asked in a real IPO. The point they were getting across was, your coin will have a much greater chance of success if you yourself are well known and well trusted in the Juggalo community. Else, you come across as a stranger asking Juggalos to do something for him. [Yeah, I know, but I'm talking about perception. The trouble with strangers is you don't know them...] So ICP came from Detroit...the city now famous for its $1 houses. Their Wik entry reminded me of the day when I was living the champagne-and-caviar lifestyle of a part-time cash-register jockey. One day, I was hiking to work to "keep active" (save bus fare) and I realized I had forgotten to put on my tie. Salvation came in the form of a small rummage shop that was offering a selection of $1 ties. One buck, and I was equipped to run the cash register for the day. Clothes really don't matter than much. The shirt I'm wearing right now has a frayed collar; I don't know how old it is. A few years ago, I was wearing an "off-lease" pair of Cintas work pants I got as part of a set on the Bay: some clothes-horse guy sneered at me on the street for wearing them. I just smiled and kept walkin'. Oddly, it didn't bother me. I only remember the incident because it was easy to let it roll off my back.

Thanks for the props on the other thread about this coin. Appreciated.
You guys have the potential to be as big as Bitcoin. That's real talk, not "to the moon" bullshit. If you can put out a coin that anyone can mine, holds value and trends up over time there's no reason big investors, industrial cryptominers from China, etc. won't pile in. Just about everyone in American has heard of the Juggalos: way more than have the slightest idea what Bitcoin even is. I did a test of people at work just now: Juggalos 10, Bitcoin 2. Now to America, the Juggalaos = cryptocurrency. This is beyond huge. You will be able to slosh money into your charities, activities and put cash into the pockets of ordinary Juggalos.
I'm guessing you have a huge ASIC farm hidden away someone all set to drop coin into the Family above and beyond the pre-mine. That's cool. No rule says that the creator of a coin can't get in there and mine their own coin after release. Cryptsy, the others should be begging to get you listed considering the shit they have on their Exchanges these days (Flappybird I'm calling you ... ). Yeah, there will be an epic pump and dump. However, since there's a real story behind the coin it will dump hard and then rise slow up to real levels after a month or so kind of like Dogecoin before the devs killed it with inflation or Mazacoin would have done if the devs weren't asshats.
I'm not a Juggalo but I'm totally supportive of your ideals. I see you all in the parks around here: cool energy and good people. I understand how you all don't want outsiders in your shit. I'm into something called Manele from Romania. Outsiders who don't know how to act or understand the ethos need to stay the fuck away. But for this coin maybe open up a little: there aren't any pool adds on the Bitcointalk, Lots of folks want to get in on this but IPOs have kind of a bad rep. Folks want to watch how the coin grows, follow the value, research, do some mining and then start trading. Blame Mazacoin for that: lots of people got burned bad and have 0 trust even if things seem legit.

You guys have the potential to be as big as Bitcoin. That's real talk, not "to the moon" bullshit. By most estimates, there are currently about 1 million total Bitcoin users. And by most estimates, there are currently about 1 million Juggalos. Coincidence? I think not. OK, OK, it's just a coincidence. But we know there is some serious potential to at least be as big as Bitcoin is currently. I'm guessing you have a huge ASIC farm hidden away someone all set to drop coin into the Family above and beyond the pre-mine. That's cool. No rule says that the creator of a coin can't get in there and mine their own coin after release. While that would be cool, it's not the case. What you see is what you get here. I'm not a Juggalo but I'm totally supportive of your ideals. Awesome to hear. There are lots of haters around here, so it's great to have some balance. And to have good people on your side. Blame Mazacoin for that: lots of people got burned bad and have 0 trust even if things seem legit. There's no way that I can prove to everyone that this is legit BEFORE the launch. But I'm not worried about that. We have a lot of people on board already. We'll launch on 4/20 and things will begin to fall into place. Disbelief will be dispelled through demonstration.

Any ETA for mining pools? Is there a wallet? Blockchain explorer? Even Dogecoin never had constant major media like you guys are getting. I've friends who are interested in getting into this at the start. Even with escrow the IPO is just too big a risk with everything crashing because of that China problem. If folks like us get into the coin, start mining it, trading it it helps the value go up for everyone. You guys have the potential to be as big as Bitcoin. I predicted this back in February! I've had lots of ideas about new coins that could become popular...
+ClownCoin+ Despite how dumb the Insane Clown Posse is, their fans are a tight-knit group and ClownCoins seems like something they could be into. They might sell concert tickets to each other or whatnot, but honestly they'd probably use the coins mostly to buy drugs from each other, and ClownCoins just sounds a lot better than PotCoin or CrimeCoin. Sorry whoever invented those, but the name is key and those names just blow. I don't do drugs anymore or listen to ICP, but I could definitely see ClownCoins working.

Any ETA for mining pools? Is there a wallet? Blockchain explorer? Still getting everything set up. More info this weekend. Launch day is Sunday, 4/20! All that media coverage is a result of our intense marketing efforts, and this will continue. We are definitely thrilled to have supporters of the coin and people who want to mine when the ball gets rolling. I understand what you're saying about the IPO, but with risk comes reward. You can buy in for less than $50 at current prices and get over 2,000 Juggalocoins. I don't think you'll see prices anywhere near that level again... Thanks! Papa Nutt

I hadn't seen that, but the idea does seem kinda obvious. Surprised it hadn't been done before. When we launch, set up a wallet and I'll send you some coins for a "psychic bounty."
