I feel liked you're get used to see the volatility of bitcoin prices so, that's why you didn't checked again the prices of your portofolio in bitcoin frequently that because you are so sure bitcoin will never fall to the deep again or you were trust in bitcoin this makes you change the target that you didn't too excited anymore to see all time high because following the year the prices eventually will reach to all time again

I think those who involved in bitcoin for years feel the same situation that several years ago when we see bear market happened we all looks stress to see our investment value that because at that time bitcoin potentially can dropped 50% or more in the same year but currently we are more calm to faced this situation and i do agree with you that to see bitcoin is more popular and mass adoption is more good because if this happend bitcoin will never lost it's value even potentially the prices will be very high in the future

Hmm, it's great that you see Bitcoin as a longterm game, in fact, many people see it as just a game of price fluctuations, LOL. But the point is that HODLing is not just about holding during market volatility, you have to understand that it is a complete rejection of a fiat mentality.

We've got the same growth from being here. Before, a few hundreds of movement would make us panic but not anymore today. A drop in thousands wouldn't even matter anymore as long as we're holding long term. I guess it's part of the growth that everyone needs and any volatility that we see in market seems to be okay and not giving us that emotional breakdown anymore and by that means, we've grown up and matured on holding Bitcoin.

That's generally the case, and I even noticed how difficult it was to even discuss Bitcoin within my circle of friends and in the area where I live. Now it's slowly starting to change, as more and more people are talking about Bitcoin even though they don't have the asset in their wallets. Bitcoin is slowly changing people's mindsets in general, and I've even asked them why they consider investing in Bitcoin over saving or buying other assets. If you are the type that waits to buy at the dip, checking the charts keeps you updated or better still, you make certain price based analysis where you get notified to either get in the market and buy or have your auto buy triggered.

Nice! That's it! Don't focus on daily or monthly gains and losses. Math don't lie. Keep your nose to the ground believe in your calls if they are backed by sound judgment fear not when your down 50% and cheer not if your up 200%. If you did your research just stick with it. The Big Short movie is a great example of this. As is The Founder.

This is me exactly now. I’m too tired on checking the price chart frequently after many year of monitoring the price action. Checking price chart and look the price now compared to when I started investing Bitcoin shows that I will have more profit if I do hold only and stop trading that frequently gives me lose for the sake of earning more during the price action of Bitcoin.
Right now, I only hold my Bitcoin on cold wallet and slowly stack whenever there’s a price drop. I stop checking my total investment or when there’s a price changes. Only sharp drop is what I’m looking for since that’s the only time I accumulate more slowly.

If you want to hold Bitcoin for a long time, then you will definitely reach the highest level, because it is best to hold Bitcoin for a long time, not for a short time. You should notice and think that the longer you hold Bitcoin, the more improvement is possible, so you can hold Bitcoin for a long time using the DCA method. Dude this feels and hits differently. And I agree that bitcoin is now more permanent and it's not just a thing or an asset but it's already part of our lives. We might still check the price every time we want to know how it's doing because we're in a bull run and not checking it is fine because we know it'll remain at a good price. We have the same belief of where it is going and that's only to the top. We will have to go through another bear market but after that, we know that it's heading to the skies again. Corrections won't be the same and emotional anymore because we know what to do when that's the situation.

You had too much money in bitcoin.

That's why I keep telling people to invest only what they're comfortable with. If they wake up at night to check the price or they can't sleep because it fell during the day, they need to reduce their exposure to the point where they no longer care and can live their lives like normal people.

When you have been in the space for quite some time, you get to realize that sometimes a dip or a rise is just part of the natural movement of the market and doesn't really mean anything significant over time. Sometimes bitcoin can drop and I don't panic and try to sell it right away. I just see the price and take note of it, try to understand why, and find when could be the next time it will bounce back.

Maybe if you are a trader, that short term excitement still lives on. Do not get me wrong, bitcoin still excites me but as said some price movements don't really mean anything for the long term and is just a random movement lol. When you are too excited you might end up making decisions you would otherwise have not done.
