About KYC: as a crypto native myself having being part of the industry for a decade, I don't think we are never going back into the full anonymity of crypto. Professionals like us here in the forum are hired more and more into roles to work with regulators and help to push the global industry into compliancy. Thus, the question is less and less wether some casino or service is or not non-kyc, but rather do you trust your money to be handled by literally illegal entities and risk it to be gone. Now, if you want to keep anonymous yourself, I don't judge, but imagine what does that look in the eyes of any regulator. Now imagine how a casino, accepting completely anonymous users, would look like in the eyes of any Anti-Money Laundering bureau of whichever country it operates.
Valid point of view, but you need to understand why so many gamblers in this forum are reluctant when it comes to submitting their KYC. There are regular cases where sites take advantage of KYC unethically in order to avoid paying out, hackers stealing KYC data etc.

Not saying your team would do the same, but this is why many avoid sites requesting such information.

Completely understandable, always need to be careful no matter the case. Also, at least on a regulated entity you can submit and official complaint to the regulator, or in the extreme case, sue them on a court of justice.

Haunebu, did you get your funds back from the provider btw?

That ended up getting more complicated which is why I simply gave up on my funds. What happened was the provider reversed the deposit to the source, but the source is an address that weirdly does not belong to polymarket. Epicbet mentioned that it belongs to a 3rd party.

I still appreciate how y'all tried returning my funds and the bonus(Lost that too btw) too which says a lot about the high quality of your site's customer service.

Okay sorry to hear.. This is certainly a case for us to dig deep and sit down with our provider for this never to happen again. Thank you for your feedback, patience and understanding tho!

Ps. Stay tuned, new events happening soon for forum members! Setting up some things as we speak.

Very good ideas here, we are definitely working on a broader coverage of these entertainment bets and will also push some into actual entertainment, e.g. odds like "Will Taylor Swift announce pregnancy during 2025". It is very true, that some of these may take longer to be resolved and thus locking user's money, but that is also part of the game. If Swift announces her pregnancy tomorrow, and you did not have a bet placed, your opportunity will be lost.

I understand what you're saying, dude. You know, maybe we need to broaden our understanding of other gamblers who are against KYC. Personally, I'm okay with it as long as I'm sure the casino I'm playing at is reputable.

However, for those who dislike KYC, they might have had past experiences where other casinos mistreated them like after submitting their documents, they still didn't receive the funds they could have used. I'm not saying that's the case with your casino, of course definitely not. Perhaps what's needed is to properly explain the process to those who are negative about KYC submission,
so they understand it's for security and transparency when done right.

Been using Epicbet some months now on and off.

they are transparent with kyc so no reason to whine about it. My experience with passing kyc was smooth.

My account is somewhat restricted but possibility of sending bets to manual reviews is nice and getting my stake accepted is 50-50. Lot sites dont even have such option or once you are somewhat restricted they will never grant anything. Good job epic.

Special note as someone who likes Formula 1 they do have lot head to head markets + you can combine them (if same driver is not selected in outcomes) which is very nice and not many sites such possibility.

After KYC no problems with withdrawals.

Interesting. This is the first time that I am hearing about a site providing the possibility to accept stakes manually after limitations/restrictions. That is quite epic.

This is great to hear since I completed my KYC over there sometime back though I was curious about the withdrawals. Can you also mention how fast the withdrawal speeds are on average?

I don't think people dislike KYC just because they had a bad experience with other casinos. Typically, these individuals prefer to remain anonymous and do not want to share their personal information with anyone else. You may recall that Coinbase once admitted that a third-party company handling their KYC-related data sold customers' documents on the darknet for $1 each, which is unacceptable. Sometimes, you may discover that you were falsely accused of a crime that you never committed. There were also some real-life examples. So, make sure your cainos is trusted enough. I do not do KYC for a few bucks. However, I consider doing KYC if the transaction is for a few hundred dollars.

yeah it is true that some people avoid KYC not just because of bad experiences but also due to privacy concerns which is totally understandable given what was happened in the past but at the same time when a casino is transparent and clearly explains why KYC is needed and how data is protected it helps build confidence. I think if this platform keeps showing consistency and fairness more users will likely feel comfortable with the process over time.

Correct. I hate KYC personally. Yet, I did KYC on many platforms because sometimes I have to accept the rules and move forward. Most of the time, we comply with the centralized exchange rules, and we do KYC on those exchanges. I have been personally KYC'ed on many centralized exchanges, including Binance, Kucoin, Mexc, and Bybit. I am KYC'ed on a very few casinos, and Epicbet is one of them. As long as I trust the casino, I do not have problem doing KYC there. But I won't do it for a few bucks for sure.

We can't survive in this online world of trading and gambling (and other niches too) if we opt that we would not to do the KYC. In that case, we can't trade or gamble on most of the trusted platforms and are only left with a few ones that may be new ones or some aren't that reputable. So even if we like it or not, there is no other option but to do the KYC at any cost if we are to use these platforms. Also, the regulations will get stricter in coming days, so there would be no option left for us but to comply with the KYC policies.

Just checked this promotion out and I must say that it looks interesting, but I am not that great at predicting Tennis bets properly thanks to the crazy volatility involved with the sport(Especially the walkovers).

Hope there are more cricket related promotions though since I am an avid cricket fan myself. Upcoming Ashes promotion would be cool for example.

Well, it depends. Some platforms will still allow you to trade without completing KYC. If there are none, privacy freaks will create one. As for casinos, there are hundreds of unlicensed casinos that do not require KYC. Probably, they are not that popular or reputable, but still, some people will use those platforms because they prefer privacy. But the majority actually cares about the reputation of a casino or an exchange.

Regulations in the EU are becoming stricter, which is why some casinos have ceased operating their businesses in the EU.

I tried to search your account on X, it seems you have 2 accounts, one is for global and another one mainly for Icelanders. However both of the accounts promoting different sports, the global account mainly promote football while the other account promote martial arts. Is there any reason for this? why you didn't just combine it, which mean the difference would be just the language.

For all the Tennis lovers, you still have time to participate on our Tennis Quest! Prize pool is 10k, might be worth checking out.

https://epicbet.com/en/tennis-2025
I must say, this jackpot promo is pretty good with a total prize of €10,000, but some of the rules are a bit tricky especially in quests 2 and 3. I'm sure a lot of people will get stuck there. It's better to finish quests 1 and 4 first if you want to take part in this promo. The ATP Finals still have a few games left, and there's also a chance to place bets on the upcoming Davis Cup.

I also noticed in the prize rules that if players win a share of the jackpot, the reward needs to be wagered 6x with minimum odds of 1.80. This is basically the same requirement as quest 1 for claiming the bonus. Wouldn't it make more sense if the prize was paid in cash? or at least require only 1x wager, especially since participants already placed several bets just to complete all four quests.

Anyone betting on the Pakistan and Sri Lanka 3rd ODI match?
https://epicbet.com/en/sports/?matchId=889359&sportId=22

Right now it is 22nd over, and it has been about 11 overs that there is no boundary for Sri Lanka they are going with running between the wickets and also batting with a good run rate of 5 to 6, that when the last power play arrived so they may play fast and it helps the team to grow some runs and such related things. Mendis is looking for a boundary that he just played a long shot on the leg side to Faheem Ashraf but the fielders are doing very good work, not letting them to score a boundary and at the same time, Pakistan should look for a single wicket here.

I bet on Pakistan to win this one and whitewash the Lankans successfully in their own backyard which isn't really surprising considering how weak the Sri Lankan batting lineup is across all formats these days.

This series might have been more competitive if Pakistan toured Sri Lanka and played there instead.

I think early when after Shaheen Shah Afridi there was Faheem Ashraf in the second over they could also try to Naseem Shah and I think it is the most good option because in the power play you want to have variations with the new ball and looking for quick wickets however Faheem delivered really good over, the way he was using to variations, leg cutter, off cutters and swing was magical. And by the way, also Naseem Shah was not playing today's game, so Faheem good option and it is good to have rest and use different players in the playing 11.
