There should be many cases, but I can’t find a specific post because it usually just falls under TOS violation - masking your real IP to bypass restrictions, which also counts as breaking the region rules. But there are general cases where gamblers had their balance confiscated for “using a VPN,” even if they were just traveling and accessed the casino from a different location. Yeah, it’s totally fine for us right now because we can access it. They probably notice it, but they won’t mind unless we start winning big. That’s when the problem starts. Maybe the people who say using a VPN is fine just haven’t won anything big yet, so their experience feels normal. They don’t realize the possible consequences.

But not as heavy as what’s written in the TOS. I’m not saying your suggestion doesn’t make sense, I’m just comparing which one is the stronger evidence. That's hard to say. The Terms and Conditions of the casino you play at should be the rules that the site and its personnel follow. However, you should check if the ToS doesn't mention additional terms related to respecting local laws and regulations from the country you live in. But wait this feels so wrong, it's like the casinos are tricking users from restricted locations into making deposits and later blocking it because they are from restriction location . To be honest I have never heard of such case. Unintentional playing from a restricted place can be normal, as many people doesn't read the tos properly, but getting blocked after the representative assures you nothing will happen is not acceptable! Can you point to such cases?

For me, I have the opposite situations here! The law of my country prohibits gambling, but many online casinos still allows it, creating a gray area.
