Without ads/funding/partnership, how do you you plan to keep your platform running? Because maintaining such platform surely takes a lot of money! Or do you guys have a big sponsor funding your project. I am curious and I just wanna know. Also, depending on VPN providers or security tools isn't enough imo. And how many casinos have u listed so far?
Btw, avoid posting multiple posts in a row. That's one of the rules you broke. You can basically reply to multiple users with a single post. Letting you know, just in case you aren't aware. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the message and fair points. Yeah maintaining something like this isn’t cheap, between hosting, development, and data collection, it all adds up fast. We don’t have any sponsors or casino funding behind it, I’m just building it myself for now. I’ve got enough personal funding allocated to keep building and running for the next six months or so, and by then the goal is to bring on a few non-gambling partners to help cover running costs. You're right it won't be the most lucrative platform but I think it'll be valuable for players. Here is our about us page too for more context on why/how: https://coinbets.com/about-us/Its fairly niche since we only focus on crypto casinos. We’ve listed around 75 of the biggest ones so far and are adding more almost daily. I’ll be giving priority to casinos that already have players leaving reviews. Noted on the multiple posts, I saw the rule, just got caught up in replying fast. Thanks for the reminder Cheers CB

As for monetization, you’re right, it’s taken countless hours to build and there are ongoing costs to keep it running. I make nothing from it right now but want to keep it unbiased, with no casino money or affiliate links, which hasn’t been done before. Once the platform gains traction, we’ll look at covering costs through non-gambling sponsors like VPN providers or security tools. As for paying for reviews it's not a long term plan, it's just to seed the platform initially and hopefully I gain some traction organically.
First of all, welcome to this OG forum. I wish you all the success for your brand. Honestly, I was going to ask the same question about monetization of your project. IMO, no matter how honest your intentions are economic logic supersedes everything when it comes to make a sustainable business. I don't see any reason to not take any money from reputed casinos as long as you are maintaining professional approach.

Valid question, and good it came up while platform is still in its early days, but having non gambling sponsorship will be a conflict of niche, but let's see how this project unfolds in the next 6months as OP said.
Thanks for the tip CB on the reviews.

I just visited the website and the design looks good. The website is well structured and everything is where it’s supposed to be. I like the idea of letting users share their own experiences and write their reviews, as long as there is no heavy censorship. However, I noticed there are two sections, one for user reviews and the other one is for expert reviews. I guess the user reviews section is for reviews written by regular users/visitors but who can post on the expert section?
Good luck with your project!

Just took a look at your website and it was clear how much efforts you spent to build such a well optimased website with such an astonishing GUI design. I guess it took a long time building such a professional website from scratch, or you just bought it ready to use?
Honestly, i had no problem surfing between pages except that i couldn't find how to add a review out of the review campaign. Also why it's required to add a screenshot? Some users may not be able to use a particular platform and just want to add notes about this.
I saw few tries from forum members to lunch their review platform and keep it honest as much as possible. The key i noticed is to be active forum user and ready to interact fast with disputes and negative reviews. A hard work must be done from your side.

This looks like something new. I hope you will ensure fairness for both casinos and players, and only genuine reviews will be displayed. I expect some negative, retaliatory reviews, of course, from players who cheat but still want to get their money by cashing out. Anyway, the intention of the review sites is for the gambling community to find out which casinos are the best to play at and how they address concerns from their players. Let's see if this platform will gain popularity like other well-known review sites.

I don't see any reason to not take any money from reputed casinos as long as you are maintaining professional approach. @memehunter - Appreciate the welcome, this forum’s legit. You’re right, sustainability matters but that’s exactly why we’re staying casino free. All other review sites take casino money and while some do help players, it’s clear they’re compromised by affiliate deals, always dancing around the elephant in the room. Just enough to look fair and balanced but in reality driven by money and bias. I’d rather grow slower and keep it clean so players know what they’re reading is real. From what I can see it hasn't been done like this before and especially not in the crypto casino space. I just visited the website and the design looks good. The website is well structured and everything is where it’s supposed to be. I like the idea of letting users share their own experiences and write their reviews, as long as there is no heavy censorship. Thanks for the well wishes @khaled0111 - Yeah, user reviews are written by regular players and anyone can post as long as they verify they’ve actually played at the casino. We’ll do our best to keep these to a high standard good and bad and we’ll also allow casinos to reply and resolve issues if they want to. The expert reviews are done by myself and one other who’ve been in the industry for many years and personally reviewed over 100 casinos in depth. Real crypto is deposited and we spend a minimum of 10 hours up to 50 playing at any casino we review. There’s a strict criteria we rate them on and you can see in-depth examples and detailed criteria here: https://coinbets.com/expert-reviews/Our reviews are based on our own experiences and that’s why having no casino ties makes them useful but they won’t always match what every player encounters. The platform will always be weighted more towards player reviews since the collective player experience at scale gives the most accurate picture. Just took a look at your website and it was clear how much efforts you spent to build such a well optimased website with such an astonishing GUI design. I guess it took a long time building such a professional website from scratch, or you just bought it ready to use?

Thanks for the feedback @Kavelj22. I built it from scratch and it’s taken a lot of time and effort. Still working on optimizing things and keeping it useful and bug free. Hopefully it becomes popular and genuinely useful for players so the effort is worth it. Good feedback on leaving reviews, it’s on the list to make that feature more visible across the site. Right now it’s only shown on the casino user review pages. Noted on forum activity too. I’ll do my best to stay active here, resolve things quickly and keep it focused with as much member input as possible. This looks like something new. I hope you will ensure fairness for both casinos and players, and only genuine reviews will be displayed. I expect some negative, retaliatory reviews, of course, from players who cheat but still want to get their money by cashing out. Thank you for the input @aioc. I'll do my best to give equal opportunity to players and casinos.

Welcome to the forum Coin.Bets!
If I view your platform from a player's perspective, it will be a nice platform with unbiased reviews and no affiliate links. This is a dream platform for the players. However, from a business perspective, I am not sure how you plan to generate a return on your investment. Do you plan to list casinos and charge for them? Sometimes, casinos reach out to casino review platforms and pay for them.
For example, I am a campaign manager with a few clients. Some of them are interested in getting listed on casino review websites. In this case, since you do not accept affiliate deals, should they reach you and request your honest review?
Also, can I see some example of reviews that was not published by you but other gamblers?

Bluechip crypto casino — hidden gem or same old junk in disguise? Japanese-themed crypto casino K8.io — unique flair or average play? Crypto casino Vave — could this be the worst one? Wolfbet - Anonymous crypto play or just another KYC trap in disguise? All hype, glitchy gameplay, and token-pumping schemes. Is Whale.io already sinking? Just keep it hard & sharp... After checking your site and reading some reviews, I think we should all stop gambling with crypto. The hope is I can build something valuable for players in a space that’s filled with bad actors.
You are building a casino review site, but you are not referring players... So, do you wish to be some kind of mediator like AskGamblers? Of course, they earn revenue through affiliate links, so that can affect their impartiality when it comes to their reviews & when dealing with player complaints. Since we are here, which crypto casino would you say is the best right now? Like your #1 casino to visit & play...

Welcome to the forum CoinBets I visited the website & really liked the UI and design. Also gave a review with full verified pictures & within 30 min got my rewards so thanks for that. It's also smart to keep 2 review per person to avoid anyone gaming the system. Good Luck & hopeffully the site will grow.

Thanks for the welcome and solid questions. From a player’s view yes, the goal is to stay fully unbiased. From a business side, the plan is to grow traffic and eventually bring in non-gambling sponsors to cover running costs. We’re happy to list any crypto casino that reaches out, but we don’t do affiliate or paid placements. That way when we review it’s set real criteria and no one can say the score is tied to payment. Right now, we’ve reviewed over 100 casinos ourselves, usually 10–20 hours of play per site, just to build a strong baseline of organic traffic. Over time we want the platform to focus more on the players experiences - reviews, complaints, and posts the vision is for it to be player first platform with fair and useful player and casino interactions. Here’s the link with all current player reviews (still new and growing): https://coinbets.com/top-crypto-casino-reviews/Just keep it hard & sharp... After checking your site and reading some reviews, I think we should all stop gambling with crypto. The hope is I can build something valuable for players in a space that’s filled with bad actors.

Since we are here, which crypto casino would you say is the best right now? Like your #1 casino to visit & play... Appreciate the message@iv4n. The space is a messy one and there are some shocking tactics and shady ways some crypto casinos operate. But I don't want to be cynical, there are good operators out there too. I wouldn’t compare us to AskGamblers even if the layout looks similar because we’re pushing the platform toward player-driven decision making like players voting on casino complaints and reviews and deciding outcomes. You'll see this more as the platform grows. I’ll list any crypto casino that’s relevant but if it’s popular enough we do a proper in-depth review using our own money. The goal is to build a place where casinos and players can both participate without the payment bias other platforms have. I know there’ll be challenges balancing uncensored discussion with casino business interests but I’ll keep at it and take community feedback along the way. A lot of other platforms probably started with good intentions but got shaped by casino influence. Once enough verified player data builds up I’ll let the stats and community speak for themselves. As for the best casino right now it really depends where you’re playing from. Many have sneaky TOS, VPN or KYC traps to avoid. Stake and Roobet are top revenue for a reason, they seem solid but there are newer ones doing some interesting things too.

I understand. However, it is not easy to build a platform from scratch if you do not plan to generate revenue from the casinos. I hope you have the financial strength and will still have the same passion after a year. Sometimes, the owner opens a platform and later loses interest, slowing everything down, and the project dies due to a lack of activity. I hope you will stay around. I have been working with a couple of casinos for a while, and two of my clients (Xyes.com and Sunfirecasino.com) are interested in getting listed on different places. They asked me to forward the contact information of any casino review site. Since you do not deal with any casinos, I would request that you review these two sites if you have the time. I have other quality clients, such as Spinly.io and Bitz.io, which are growing casinos. It would be beneficial if you could also take a look at these casinos. BTW, do you plan to run any promotional campaign in this forum? It will help you get more exposure and visibility in the forum. Feel free to reach out to me if you are interested.

-We deposit and play with our own crypto - no sponsored reviews. -Every user review must include a verified screenshot. -No casino funding, no hidden partnerships, no bias. That's great but we'll just have to trust your claims about no sponsored reviews and no hidden partnerships without any actual proof. Screenshots can be faked. Almost everyone knows how to use inspect element in order to change the numbers and text on a webpage and then take screenshots. Do you have any idea about finding a better way to verify the authenticity of the reviews? How do you plan to turn this into a successful business without any revenue coming from affiliate commissions and sponsored reviews? Do you plan to run this website without any intent to generate any income whatsoever?

Welcome mate and I must say that you got a good review site where we can easily see and know what people are talking about their experiences with casinos they have encountered with in the past or current. You made mention of not taking money from any casino but let us tell ourselves the truth, you will need money to maintain your website and I believe money generated from the traffic to your website might likely not be enough to sustain the maintenance of your website so how would you generate funds for the maintenance of your website?

@God Of Thunder @davis196 @CryptSafe
I appreciate the replies and interest. I'll just reply one larger reply that covers most of what you asked, as there was a lot of overlap.
On screenshot fakes Screenshots alone aren’t enough. I require one of these with every verified review: a deposit receipt (email or on-site) or an on-chain TXID that matches a deposit. I’ve already followed up several reviews manually to make sure the experiences are legitimate. I’m open to developing auto-blur redaction on screenshots so proofs can be posted publicly too. This needs work as the complaint system will include it. Cases will be public with full evidence displayed and personal info redacted manually at first. There is still an element of trust in me, but it’s better than any other solution I can see. As mentioned, if you have suggestions on how I could handle this better I’m open to hearing them.
How I plan to make faking harder At the moment everything is manually checked and I contact reviewers to follow up if anything is incomplete or suspect. In the future, when I scale, I’d like to implement automated checks. I’m looking into new tech OCR and regex which look for emails, wallet addresses, TXIDs and timestamps. If a claimed TXID doesn’t exist on-chain or the timestamp is inconsistent it will be flagged for manual review. I also allow users to verify their X handle, which I manually cross check to confirm they are real accounts.
Transparency The public complaint system I’m building lets casinos reply and the community vote so false claims are visible and contestable. It gives the power of outcome to the players, not me.
Business model I’m not pretending this is free. I’ve funded it personally for the short term. Long term I plan to cover costs with non-gambling sponsors and premium analytics. I will not take casino affiliate money or paid positive placements. You can see this on my site, there are no links out to casinos. I understand the skepticism given how much casinos are paying affiliates, and that’s exactly the point, that’s why this will be valuable and hopefully gain popularity. Fair if you’re skeptical time will tell. For now I’ve forecasted and accounted for it will take six to twelve months to build it to a point where I can cover running costs.
As mentioned before I’m open to feedback and discussion. The goal is to build the platform to a point where it has solid traffic so I can pay myself and keep improving it. I believe the approach is layered and practical. I’ve thought about these concerns and will keep improving as I grow. It’s not perfect but it’s already much more verifiable than the current review sites.

It's great to see a service like this. If I'm not mistaken, I mentioned this yesterday: casino review sites whose main interest is promoting affiliate links, without truly caring about the casino's quality. I don't see anything wrong with promoting links; it's fair and a way to generate revenue for the reviewer, but it must be done seriously and impartially, not just for profit. Note: If you need a human translation into Portuguese, I can help. I tested your automatic translation, and it lacks accuracy regarding context and meaning for many terms. Feel free to send me a PM here if you'd like. Congratulations on your initiative and success!

I’ve got nothing against platforms that use affiliate links, it’s the easiest way to monetize fast and some handle it better than others. I just want to build the platform differently. It was frustrating trying to find trustworthy info when looking for casinos as a player, so I’m basically building what I wanted myself. Otherwise I’d just be another site in a sea of affiliate click farms rating every casino 4 or 5 stars. Noted on the translation help, my goal is to get the platform kick started then I can focus on things like that, once it's moving along. Cheers CB

Just keep it hard & sharp... After checking your site and reading some reviews, I think we should all stop gambling with crypto. I wouldn't compare you with AskGamblers at this point either, but it seems like you are heading in that direction... maybe I am wrong. I’ll list any crypto casino that’s relevant but if it’s popular enough we do a proper in-depth review using our own money.
This is a tricky part... If you have already explored/researched some casinos, tried different stuff & features, and believe they are legit, why wouldn't you recommend them to others? By the way, you need to check the BTCGosu ANN thread here on the forum & the site. I thought someone else would mention that first, but "oh well"... Maybe it will open your mind & inspire you. Good luck.

Good luck. The reason I won’t be doing affiliate deals or casino placements is simple - I want to stay unbiased and be able to call out anything shady. I’m pragmatic and know how fast things can change in this space. I’ve seen casinos go from solid to scam in weeks, and others turn it around completely. If you’re tied into monthly deals, there’s no way to stay 100% objective. I’ve seen BTCGosu - good work, just a different direction. They focus on affiliate reviews and news. I’m building a player-driven platform with verified experiences, public complaints, and player voting all out in the open. No casino deals, no paid placements. I think that still matters to players, but I guess we’ll find out.

I'm curious! Been in the industry for a long time and always lurking around these parts, but rarely see anything really interesting and worth commenting on these days. It's defo true - affiliate marketing has basically created a situation where no one can trust anything in this space anymore (no offence to all those still pursuing the affiliate model - believe me, I get it). I've seen from the inside how it creates a situation where objectivity inevitably dies. Like others have said, economic logic trumps all in the end. I mean who are we kidding? Again, no offence to the big review operations like CG and AG, but they are far from objective. The moment you've taken money from someone you're promoting, your compromised, end of. Not just in this industry, in every industry. Of course, there are degrees of being compromised. But, saying that, if someone does have the resources (and sheer determination), to pull off what OP is trying to do, then it could be a really valuable tool for players. As for ensuring user submitted reviews are legit? Hmm... that is going to be next to impossible. Even before AI made faking things even easier. But will be interesting to see what happens. The site is looking good, and there is defo a need for no BS truthful reviews (for everything in life, not just casinos!). Heck, remember back in the early days of the web, when reviews were mostly real? Lasted about a year or two.
