The government always wants to be in control of everything especially our money and they can do anything they want because after all they are monitoring every transaction and every money you have in Fiat currency and then slowly taking it from us through ridiculous taxes but I'm grateful for Bitcoin and thanks to its creator for thinking about the people and for understanding that we need a bit of freedom from the government. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and it makes it impossible for the government to interfere with it because they can't control it like they control Fiat, Bitcoin is freedom from the government and their unnecessary pressure or indirect billing.

I just want to say, I’m really thankful that Bitcoin was invented. Without it, we’d still be fully under government control, every transaction tracked, every move monitored, and every rule forced on us even when it’s unfair.

Bitcoin gave us something that banks and politicians can’t easily touch, and that is financial freedom. You can send money across borders without asking permission, protect your savings from inflation, and support causes even when governments try to silence them.

Look at what’s happening in countries with abusive governments... people in places like Venezuela, Nigeria, and Argentina use Bitcoin to survive hyperinflation and avoid frozen bank accounts. Even activists and journalists in countries with censorship rely on Bitcoin to receive support safely.

For me, Bitcoin is more than just investment or profit. It’s proof that no matter how powerful governments become, people will always find a way to take back control.

Of course, before bitcoin was created something we could never have imagined was financial freedom. Bitcoin has given us financial freedom, through which we can freely control our own wealth, without the government being able to control it whenever it wants, or impose rules on the general public as the government wants.

We can trade our assets whenever we want without the help of any third party, which gives complete freedom to a Bitcoin user. By consistently purchasing Bitcoin and holding it for a long time by following the right rules, we can protect our valuable money from inflation in the future and can expect long-term profits. I am grateful to Bitcoin for all the opportunities that we get by using Bitcoin, which are not available in any other asset.

Bitcoin and banks are just opposites, especially since you can transact with Bitcoin 24 hours a day, you don't have to depend on any third party. You can withdraw Bitcoin whenever you want and deposit Bitcoin whenever you want. That's why you never have to stand in long queues like at banks or deposit or withdraw money from any third party authority.
Bitcoin is completely decentralized, meaning you can control it however you want. If you have a bank account, you are accountable to the government for that account, but if you deposit it in Bitcoin and save the wallet's security phrase, you are not accountable to anyone for that wallet. That is, you will get your financial freedom only in Bitcoin and not anywhere else.

You can only get freedom with Bitcoin if you steer away from centralized exchanges and custodial wallets. But most people don't do this, greatly defeating the entire purpose of Bitcoin. They just leave their coins at centralized exchanges and forget about the rest. It's why governments still have a grasp over BTC these days. Now it's going to get worse with "Wall Street" in play.

At least, not everyone is on-board. There is a small few people supporting decentralization and censorship-resistance every step of the way. As long as that minority keeps doing that, we should have nothing to worry about. May decentralization prevail in the long run. Bitcoin reached this far, so I'm confident it will last a lifetime.

I guess this is because the centralized exchanges are easier to use than the decentralized exchanges as they made their platforms easier to navigate and more services rendered to the users at a go. I may be wrong with what I’m saying but I guess the simplicity in operation has contributed to the reason why people use them a lot without minding much about its lack of independence, inefficiencies and unreliability.

Besides being easy to use, people still prefer centralized exchanges because they have higher liquidity. Moreover, the primary goal of most market participants and investors in bitcoin is profit, not privacy protection as they claim.

I would guess that 90-95% of investors have at least one CEX account and are still using it. However, I do not think the majority of them use them to store cryptocurrency assets as Abiky said. Instead, they use them to trade, converting bitcoin to fiat and vice versa

The harsh truth is that while everyone talk about privacy but in reality, not many people use DEX.

Let's not forget that CEXs are also regulatory-compliant. This makes people trust them more than DEXs. Not to mention, CEXs come with greater liquidity and a wide variety of trading pairs to choose from. While governments have a grasp over centralized exchanges, that doesn't mean they will fully control Bitcoin. The core Blockchain network is still decentralized.

There are concerns of governments, banks, and other big entities amassing most of the circulating supply in the future. But there's nothing developers nor the community can't fix. Nodes and miners have the power to decide what path Bitcoin will take in the long run. The more there are geographically-distributed, the better. Many things can happen in the future. So better be prepared for the worse, just in case.

To be honest perhaps we haven't completely separated ourselves from the government system, especially those who use CEXs to buy bitcoin and even worse, for those who store bitcoin there. CEXs operate under regulations within their jurisdictions and we will never fully achieve a high level of privacy in their use. I believe Bitcoin can lead to financial freedom, but we can't completely separate ourselves from the government system and regulations are now becoming stricter because the government is constantly monitoring us. Bitcoin transactions are also quite transparent and can be monitored by the government, but as long as you don't commit any illegal acts it's not a problem.

I just want to say, I’m really thankful that Bitcoin was invented. Without it, we’d still be fully under government control, every transaction tracked, every move monitored, and every rule forced on us even when it’s unfair.
Everyone who knows about Bitcoin will continue be grateful to Satoshi nakamoto for initiating the ideas of bitcoin...Do you know what you just ironed out, is the reason why government is kicking against Bitcoin.

Quote
Bitcoin gave us something that banks and politicians can’t easily touch, and that is financial freedom. You can send money across borders without asking permission, protect your savings from inflation, and support causes even when governments try to silence them.
Bitcoin is under decentralized and government doesn't fully understand the transactions process, So with bitcoin you can send funds across other continent without passing through documentation process...That's one major reasons some government react bitterly in anything has to do with Bitcoin transactions across another country...Some times they tagged our transactions as a money laundering in order to discourage bitcoiners.

Quote
Look at what’s happening in countries with abusive governments... people in places like Venezuela, Nigeria, and Argentina use Bitcoin to survive hyperinflation and avoid frozen bank accounts. Even activists and journalists in countries with censorship rely on Bitcoin to receive support safely.
This countries you mentioned, the government once restrict transactions of bitcoin from their central banks root to commercial banks, not have process bitcoin transactions..so they're still against the existence of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin gives us freedom to transact with it without restrictions but it’s not free from government taxation, there is regulation for using bitcoin and other digital asset in every country and those rules are a way that the government is telling us they have eyes on what we are doing and if you don’t know your way around your crypto can still be tracked and linked to your identity which you will be subjected to tax or what ever they want to do.

Since banks and governments are the norm, it’s hard for people to imagine a life without those. Even now, people use centralized exchanges which are comparable to banks to buy, sell, and store their bitcoins in. One might wonder, what is the difference if this is the case? But at least people are starting to wake up bit by bit.
You are correct but even though the banks are in control of our funds, there are situations that one can make use of it.
Which is why banks and fiat currencies can never go away, no matter how beneficial Bitcoin is or how valuable it may be, because there are many people cases that people may still be using fiat for day- to- stuff.
Though Bitcoin offers regulation,  stability and convenience which many uses for their own good and also for their own businesses.
