Ever regret introducing people to Bitcoin

Bitcoin is now more popular compare to 2017, many who called bitcoin a scam have no more reason to keep saying so even when they failed to do their own research, they don't have a reason to call it a scam anymore, even President Trump is now all over it.

Which makes me believe that gone are those days where you are actually helping to create awareness by hosting some gathering or visiting a local school nearby to teach about Bitcoin and the blockchain.

I did this few times in the past but I had more bad experience than good, I ended up creating more enemies for myself than I hoped for, my job was quit easy but my fellow country men and women have their own ways of digesting words and lessons.

Today I have people who don't talk to me anymore and I believe the fault was never mine, I did my part very well, I warned them about software wallets and how they can consider electrum for a time being.

Three of them got their wallet compromised, one lost his bitcoin to a wrong address, I guess clipboard hijacking, these aren't just people, they are friends and family member, but there is one who did all the necessary things and still a holder till date, I wish I can turn back the hands of time and never sit anyone down to teach them anything.

I look like super hero because Trump is supporting Bitcoin, if kamala won the election and the news was Bitcoin had to go, they would have come for me because it looks like they are waiting for such day to come.

I'm lucky to have heard many stories from friends about how they regretted recommending Bitcoin to someone. It's a dangerous investment with wild volatility, and if someone ignorantly invests in it, they'll later blame everyone for depriving them of their money. That's why I never recommend investing in cryptocurrency. It's truly dangerous, and we shouldn't be throwing around such advice left and right. If you don't talk about Bitcoin, you can be sure you won't be accused of helping someone wipe out their wallet.

Learning Bitcoin independently will certainly take a long time for someone to truly understand it. There's no harm in teaching them. If your friend has a high level of interest or curiosity about Bitcoin, we as his friend must tell him at the beginning that this investment is full of risks and is very volatile. don't just tell them the heavenly wind, namely the benefits. Ordinarily Bitcoin is very volatile which has made it very risky for people that don't understand how the price moves. For someone that has no understanding about the crypto market, it will be hard for them to comprehend how the price of Bitcoin moves.

There are many who do not believe in digital currency or its security. When you give others an idea about Bitcoin, you will explain in detail its positive aspects, negative aspects and future prospects. But you should never assure anyone to invest. Because if someone invests based only on your words and if they suffer financial losses, they will blame you. Investment should be completely at  own discretion.

Bitcoin is popular now and introducing people to Bitcoin should not be a hard part to play. There are people you will need to convince to invest in Bitcoin and their are some they don't need too many information when they can read and write doing their research on their own.
In the aspect of convincing people to invest in Bitcoin, there are testimonies online about people that took part in the opportunity to buy Bitcoin without pressure that are already in so much profits. Bitcoin is digital gold and it shouldn't be rare to see and the government has been investing in it making it a true asset to hold.

A mentor is mostly important when trying to learn about something for the first time, this does not mean you cannot independently do it and still know it but with a mentor, you will skip certain mistakes you would have done if you were to do it all alone but since you are been mentored, you will be told before it happens about things to avoid and that which you are to make sue to follow and pay close attention to. For friends and family who are interested, you could tutor them and guide them not to make certain mistake you made at the early stage of your engagement with Bitcoin and crypto generally.

Teaching random people how to get into Bitcoin is something i do advise against except you see an exceptional willingness in such a person and the person should be ready to accept risk that comes with it and not to come for you in situations where things goes south or did not yield as they expected, because some of them could be coming with the mindset of just making money without having in mind that making money does comes with some risk that will cost you some money.

It's much better to ignore people who aren't interested or excited about learning about cryptocurrencies in general, not only Bitcoin. And those who then comes to know that it's a thing, they start looking for ways to make money online, and due to this, so many people get scammed because they join pyramid schemes or MLM projects.

I love the ending of your comment, mistake shapes a better investor. This is very true because a lot of investors enter the investment space, completely clueless about how investment really works or about the market, and so they tried a lot of things, which not all of it were successful, made a lot of mistakes and most importantly, learned from these mistakes and became better through the previous experiences they’ve gathered in the crypto space.

In summary,not everyone is expected to be in the crypto space.There others investment options that are safe haven too,it mustn't be Bitcoin after all even before bitcoin was invented our parents have been on the stock and real estate investment.So what I do tell people is that the bitcoin market isn't a stable market,the price fluctuate, you might end up being a bad person if they find out by themselves that the price isn't as stable as they thought.And one thing they need to know that is Bitcoin isn't a get quick rich investment, patience is a virtue likewise it's also applicable in an investor's investment journey.Don't sugarcoat the asset, your words should be true and those who are willing will participate out of their own will.

Everyone has his or her own why they react to certain things everyone must not have thesame mindset alot of people are very difficult to deal with while some are easy going you really can't blame them. Most people react to what they have been through in the past making alot of people developing trust issues even for things that are legit making them miss out of good things today we leave in a world where people easily get scammed and everyone is careful not to fall into the hands of scammers you don't have to feel regrets introducing Bitcoin to people even if they refuse to learn

There is some regrets that I feel if the blame is on me for them not having the maximum profit that they desire. But what I can do? I am not a superhero to do that for them and even I, I have some losses that I can't recover and didn't foreseen it coming. I guess that we just had enough when these friends of ours have talked about how interested they were but when it's in the actual investing and action, they're not even going to show up when you want to meet them again. In fact, they're the ones that have appointed a schedule to meet up or talk through online meeting. We, all, just wasted our times for that but that's their loss and not mine/ours.

If they blindly invest in bitcoin and endure losses after, I don't think you should be accountable of that. No one should be blamed if you know for yourself that you have not lacked giving them reminders to invest in bitcoin cautiously. That's already their problem. Regrets are only those who are guilty, but for some people that have warned them to be cautious to bitcoin at all times, there's no room for regrets then.

I never regret introducing people to bitcoin, I just educate them but I never convinced them to invest in the first place.

I don't have any regret about this. For years, I explained Bitcoin to people, how it would make life easier and how it would change traditional finance. Most of the people I talked to came back years later saying they wished they had taken what I said more seriously, so they're usually the ones who ended up regretting it.

There's no need to explain Bitcoin to anyone anymore. All the information is available online. Anyone who's curious can research. There's no one left who hasn't heard of Bitcoin. It's touched people's lives in one way or another. From here on, it's entirely up to individuals, whether they want to use Bitcoin in daily life or invest in it or not.
