Let’s not forget that passion isn’t just inborn, but it can also be developed along with time. So if you apply now for a job which you think you aren’t passionate about, but it compensates you well, then there’s high chances that passion can be developed in the long run, especially that you get used to it every single day of your life and you’re having positive experiences that brings more happiness and satisfaction into your life. With this, there’s always higher possibility that you will get to learn to like your job and eventually develop love and passion in the end.

Money is very important for everything so when someone gets enough money from any source then automatically his passion will end and he will start liking real things. passion can only encourage us to think and do positive things but money will not be a substitute for that day. So I will give money the highest priority in my career. Because if you have money then you can achieve everything in the world. And if you don't have money then your passion will never let you be good.

Emotions and money are two things that run in everyone's life. Emotions are not always good for everyone because many people suffer a lot of losses due to emotions. Your passion can be motivated by Money. When you are earning money from the little job you are doing then your passion would be fully utilize. If you have passion on the job you are doing and there is no motivational gift from the employee, the passion will die down. Passion and capital are two different words with  the same dream. Passion is the primary factor responsible for success but cannot do without capital because money is the overall factor responsible for the propelling of dreams.

In this current era, money is more important than passion. Passion is good but most things we have passion for doesn't give us a considerable level of money , for instance you have passion for a particular thing and you went for interview and you were told the thing you have passion for that the pay is low and there's another vacancy and that one's pay is high less say X3 of the one you have passion for, my dear you will find out that you will take the highest pay job than your passion own because the money will solve problems and make you live comfortable.

There are people who started doing a job they don't have passion for but along the line they began to have passion for it because of the money they are getting from there.

In this hard economy someone wants to still go for passion, when there are more better jobs with good opportunities to earn better money than that of your passion. The truth is that by the time you start a job with high paying income where you are doing very well, the passion will definitely come. We can develop passion for anything at any time in as much as it gets interesting.

No matter how much passion for something you have if you overwork yourself you will lose the spark sooner or later. So in my experience passion does not matter much as long as one is motivated and has good work habits.

On the other hand money is good motivator for most but one must have at least some desire to do that work to be able to do it.

Ideally, it should be passion, but reality tells us that money is more enticing, and that it’s more crucial to earn a good amount of money rather than stick to passion and earn less or nothing in return. Trading is a great example. Hmm, don’t you think what you’re describing is Zeal and not passion?. When you say when there’s money that’s when passion develops that thing you develop is zeal not passion. Zeal has to do with focussing more energy on something because you know it’ll pay you handsomely, so you tend to try to deliver on your path.

Passion is more like a desire, you don’t get compelled of any form to do it, you just do and you love it.  For example I love kids I decide to be a Paediatrician and someone else who don’t like kids but because he heard the job pays well decides to become one. Because he’s getting paid he’ll be compelled to do his job but he can never be as efficient and effective as me; the person who naturally loves kids.

It’s hard to work hard if you don’t like the job you are working but if it’s being paid very compared to the salary of your job that you preferred then I might be compromised and take the work.

Money is my priority during my young professional time since I have a lot of time to accumulate first money for my future. I just change job later on to my preferred job after saving enough money and settle down.

Right now I’m working on the job that I like but with low pay grade compared to my previous. Still I don’t complain anymore since I’m not looking forward on the money rather the passion on my job already.

Honestly speaking, gone are the days when anyone should be fueled by passion if it doesn't give good results. Some people are passionate about studying a certain course in the university but this is something that wouldn't give them any reasonable job in the future. It's important to always be logical when deciding this, passion is good but having money is more important than that. If your passion isn't profitable Forget it

Your suggestion is very clear and makes perfect sense. When passion and an educational degree don't bring more money into our lives as people who work hard every day, they're worth forgetting. There are many things and jobs that can earn a certain amount of money as long as we know how to do them and have more opportunities to continue doing them well. I no longer prioritize passion and things that aren't profitable for me, because when I'm in a difficult situation, no one will help me except with the money I've saved up.

no it’s not always the case some people may be forced to become doctors because that”s where the money is but that person may actually secretly be passionate about art but does anyone make money over art these days? not really unless you end up becoming a really famous artists but for small artists they’re barely surviving

This may differ from one person to another because sometimes what we have is not always a bridge to achieving happiness in life, especially regarding money.
People who don't earn a lot can sleep soundly anywhere and this indicates their life could be much happier, conversely people can earn a lot of money but have trouble sleeping, don't have time with their family or don't have the normal life they can afford.
Everyone has a choice and how they choose is not followed and if they are chasing money then they must also be prepared to sacrifice something they don't think they have.

I choose to live in peace and have some money and for me it is not really important whether I am rich or not, but rather having money to live a normal life as usual is more than enough.
People's views may differ in addressing this issue, but I am sure that most of us hope for a better life in whatever way we live it.

I love my job, it's a non-sustainable amount of workload that I have and been years and I can't work every single day.

Since I have a medical condition, it prevents me from being able to work every single day, but the good news is, I am not at some company in a cubicle that asks for a sick day, I make money when I work, and I do not make money when I do not work, so it's fair and I can take a day off when I am sick, but in return, I work even when I am on holiday or vacation, and try to pay that effort back. All in all, if you work for what you love, you are going to be happy.

Don't look for a definitive "correct" answer, because everyone will find it in their heart (or pocket ).

I think both scenarios are possible:
- Passion for one's work can, over time, advance one's career, which directly impacts one's income. This creates the ideal scenario of someone doing what they love and being well-paid. Also, love for one's work directly impacts productivity and creativity.
- Working at a job you don't love for the money doesn't seem so bad either, if the job allows for a high income that allows one to pursue a favorite hobby outside of work.

From personal observation, I can say that even "working for the money" can bring enjoyment from the process of completing tasks (satisfaction upon completion). Furthermore, the more we "know", the more activities we can enjoy. That is, those types of work that were done for money, with increased personal qualifications, already move to a stage where work processes are performed for pleasure. I'm not sure this happens to everyone, but even in a "job for money", you can find a "favorite activity".

And the point about a lack of money even with a favorite job is determined not only by the job itself (income), but also by your ability to manage money (expenses).

I’ve actually been in that exact spot, torn between doing what I enjoy and going after what pays more. Over time, I realized chasing only passion can leave you broke, and chasing only money can leave you empty. The sweet spot for me has been finding something that pays enough to live comfortably but still connects to what I care about. That way, I don’t burn out chasing either extreme.

In simpler terms, it's about maintaining the core job you've been doing for a long time and also maintaining other work that generally doesn't interfere with your core job. Because when we can maximize our time to continue working as usual, our needs and desires can be met evenly, even though not everything we want can be achieved immediately because everything we want to achieve must always go through a process. I also like your approach because you don't neglect either one until you stay connected to the work you still passionately desire.

What you just said is very understandable about going for passion, and you made mention of how you love writing and you make money by writing which you are happy about. It’s very much understandable that you went for your passion because you were opportune to make money from it. what if you weren’t making money from writing which is your passion, won’t you look for other alternative even if it was not your passion, so you can earn good cash?

You don't need a passion if your purpose is for money.

You can call it a passion when you willing to refuse someone else request that conflict against your passion even though it bring a lot of money.

Let's say, your passion is car, so you create any videos in social medias related to car. Technically, you should only endorse something that only have a relation about car and you really use that product, instead of sugar coat a bad product.

If you accept endorsement from other product without any relation with car thing or you promote gambling etc, it's no longer a passion.

I think a passion person doesn't prioritize or even think about the money. What they think the most, is their craft. Their motivation is if when people appreciate their craft. But if people appreciates it, they can sometimes give a reward like cash donations for example. For some like you and me, we can say that it was money is our main motivator to work because we also have our debts, family to feed, dream gadgets to buy, etc.. There is also nothing wrong with that because we have a purpose and we are contributing.

At the same time, there are people who run behind their passion. But in reality, when such people excel in their passion, money start flowing on their way. It means, if you start chasing your passion, money may not get into your wallet by end of every month but one day or other, people will understand the genuineness of passionate work compared to others; from that point, money flow will start.
