How do we balance this? Have you ever been in such situations? What will be your advice to the younger generation?
There's a stage in life where you get to make hard choices all for survival. As kids, parents will tell you to study courses that will actually benefit you in the future. They don't really care what you are being passionate about. You hear professions like medicine, law, and engineering being push to their kids as a choice for study. Those kids has no say in their life at that point but will be forced to do as their parents said. Do they have Passion for such fields? Well not all the time. But as time goes on they begin to blend with the profession. So if you take a look at the society we are today, money comes first before passion. No body cares about what you love the most, just make money.

You can pick both, I would say.
If you are passionate about something and you have a decent mind then you will know how to make money while using that passion. So really, unless you are not a somewhat useful business man/woman, you will not really get anywhere.

I think both should be connected, your passion should be something that's productive. A lot of people talk about how they planned to chase a certain career or profession but they hot pushed by their parents into doing something else, personally I see nothing wrong with this, you mother or father knows that at end of the day you might not get a job in that area you are trying to chase..passion without money is a waste

First, it was money, and then develops passion along the way. I’m saying this because when I apply for my job, I’m really in need of money to support my parents, and as a fresh graduate, I don’t have to be picky so I can start earning and give back to my parents.
That was my first perspective about having a career. But now I realized passion matters the most. Because you won’t get to last longer on your career if you don’t love your job. You need to love your job, so that in return your job will also reward you and even lead you to a good promotion.

Some profession are simply not in demand. You can probably make a living out of anything but it won’t be as well paying as other professions out there. If someone is doing what they are passionate about while also getting paid well, then that’s the ideal situation.

Passion is like a passion mixed with interest, rooted within oneself before any encouragement from others, including our parents. Clearly, it must be present and supported by money to make it happen smoothly. Because when the constraint is money, no matter how great the passion, it will remain buried within. Therefore, support from any other party should always be appreciated, especially if it's from one's parents, who generally have experience in various aspects of life.

Let me be honest bro , it is money that drives my career path and without money they can't be passion. Everything we are doing is to make money in other to cater for our daily life. So there's no way a person can tell me that it passion that drives his or her career expect they were raised up in a rich home.
The level of passion can also vary from person to person, especially considering their circumstances, such as wealth or poverty. For those who are still poor, their passion is naturally more directed toward money, as they still desperately need it to live a more decent and better life than before. Meanwhile, for those born into wealthy families, their passion for making money may not be as strong because they were raised by wealthy families who essentially already had everything they could want. So, even in terms of passion, there can be quite fundamental differences between one person and another, because those who already have everything are likely only concerned with how to maintain it well and reinvest it to become even more.

--- Just like most cases of dilemma the better choice is always finding a balance between the two motivators. Sometimes we hear folks who earn high complain about their job that they’re not happy but they’re still there cos of the money they’re making. And then someone who’s doing what he or she loves but it’s not getting enough money.
How do we balance this? Have you ever been in such situations? What will be your advice to the younger generation?
Making money while doing something that you love for me is the best but not the easiest thing to do. I've seen online streamers who became successful because while they're doing what they passionate to do with which is playing online games, they're also making money thru donations and other ways. That for me is the best thing that any person can happen to their life. Earning while doing what they love to do. In my case, I tried to be one. Streaming and playing online games. I love playing online games and I have lots of time in the past, but streaming isn't for me because of how shy I am in front of the camera. If you can make money on your passion then that would be better, but if I will pick between the two, it will always be passion. It's pretty much useless for me if I'm working or doing something that I don't like even though I ended up making more money. In the long run, I will always feel burned out since I don't love what I'm doing. My advice? Like what I said, find something that you love to do, and make a way for you to make a living out of it or at least do something in order for you to make money in what you love to do the most. I've seen people love planting and they make money from it. I've seen people playing online games and making money from it. I've seen people doing the things they love and earning from it, so I believe that if they can, we can as well.

I am of the opinion that choosing career for sake money is no happy way to live, I would rather choose passion, even though it may not bring plenty money but hopefully enough, at least I'll be looking forward to 'work' every single day and I'll be feeling like I am getting paid to do nothing (because, as the quote goes — If you do what you love, you never work a day in life).
Everyone can achieve career success if they pursue it with sincerity and skill. Forced work without knowledge will never lead to success. A good career can earn more money, and expecting money quickly doesn't guarantee career success. We need to build something slowly, and if we want career success, we shouldn't focus solely on making a lot of money, but rather on the long process we'll go through. Develop interests that align with our skills so that we'll be more enthusiastic at work, which can motivate us to achieve a much better career. Money is important in life, but we also need to consider happiness, time, and personal enjoyment through exercise and other activities.

Money is more important to this study and survey that has been conducted. So it still lies to the needs that we have and the earnings that we can potentially make with the careers that we choose. I think that it's also going to be likened by us eventually if we work to a job that we dislike but it pays well. It's a process that will take time and so, if you're going to go for that, it's best to make sure that you are earning well and have got some plans of exiting if you want to pursue your passion.

We need to be more realistic these days, as many young people choose to pursue their passion in a single field, but it doesn't provide them with much income, forcing them to seek alternatives to meet their living expenses and financial stability, and abandoning various opportunities just for that passion. I understand that it's a personal choice, but it's simply ridiculous to cling to something that doesn't offer a clear future or financial security, especially in these times when everything is so difficult. I'd rather find something else that makes more money than just pursuing my passion, because I have responsibilities and I can't risk myself hoping that my passion will be the main path to financial success in my life.

This is factual. One's own voice is often thwarted under pressures of family and society but what can be done? As kids dependent on parents, one may not have much choice but at least as soon as one reaches adult age — get independent, so you'll be less affected by outside noise and follow your passion; might be easier said than done in certain cultures sure, but you have got only one life, live for yourself, not for others. (I am feeling like motivational speaker) It’s true that many people are forced into choices they didn’t make for themselves when you’re young and dependent you really don’t have much control over what happens parents want security for their kids so they push them into careers that sound safe or profitable medicine law engineering business these are seen as paths that guarantee stability but not everyone fits into those boxes and that’s where frustration begins. As you grow older you start realizing that passion and money don’t always walk the same road sometimes you do what you love and it pays off sometimes it doesn’t and you end up doing what you must just to survive that’s not failure that’s life survival often comes before passion until you can afford to chase what truly makes you happy. But independence changes everything once you start earning and taking care of yourself you gain the power to make your own choices maybe not instantly but gradually the noise fades you begin to live for yourself not for the expectations others built around you and that’s when real fulfillment starts to take shape. It’s funny how growing up turns everyone into their own motivational speaker we’ve all had those moments where we stop and realize no one else is going to live this life for us we either take control or keep living by someone else’s plan so yeah maybe sounding motivational isn’t bad at all sometimes we need to hear it even if it’s from ourselves.

It’s true that many people are forced into choices they didn’t make for themselves when you’re young and dependent you really don’t have much control over what happens parents want security for their kids so they push them into careers that sound safe or profitable medicine law engineering business these are seen as paths that guarantee stability but not everyone fits into those boxes and that’s where frustration begins.
Not everyone is fortunate enough to choose what they truly want. Even children from wealthy families sometimes have to continue the family business, which may not be the kind of work they love. However, as long as the job ensures financial security and stability for ourselves and our families in the future, it’s perfectly fine to do it. I think many people are in that position. We need to realize and accept that there’s no such thing as an ideal situation. Of course, it’s nice to have full control when making decisions, whether it’s about choosing a career or anything else, but not everyone can reach that point easily.

There is no success without passion, anywhere it will fix in. The politicians that has money today didn't get to steal the money to become successful, there was passion for lies, passion to deceive people and passion to get to the top, that's how they were able to get successful. Nobody get successful doing something they don't like, you hardly see a successful person that doesn't has passion in what he is doing, the relationship must coexist before you can make it. The only people thag can make money today without having passion are people that inherit money from some they don't like there passion but even still, if that money is not well properly put into something you don't like, the money will get to a point that if will start ti finish, it will not be adding up unless you start t use the money to do something that you actually like doing.

The both comes in play, but it has to be passion at first and then, in the long run, it is always a mix of both. Cristiano Ronaldo is name I have always used for examples. It was always passion for him before he was signed up to play for sporting lisbon and over the years, it's always been like that, and with him winning everything already, things have changed, he has started making plans not for himself alone but also for his family. A wise man one time told me to chase my passion that it comes with a lot fame and money.

Either could work. Money is very important and many people work solely for money, which is a good reason to work, why wouldn't you work for just money, as long as you live and you make your living then you should not be worried. You could also work for your passion as well, whatever you love, maybe you will make a lot , maybe you will not make a lot, it doesn't matter.
We should be expecting this situation to be quite obvious because either could give you a life. A bad work is a bad work, passion or not, so it is not going to give you justification. Find a good work, either that pays you very well, your love very much, and if you can find either then you are going to end up living a decent life, and that's what matters.

Just like most cases of dilemma the better choice is always finding a balance between the two motivators.
Going for the money is good but never discard what you are passionate about because that is what will work for you in the long term. You can work where you ain't comfortable but earn huge amount of money then use the money to fund your passion inasmuch as it is capable of generating income for you. Passion is what you derives joy in doing and it doesn't matter how complete it can become but you will surely make sure you do it to the best of your ability so we should not use because of the chase for money and forget about the times that we derive joy and happiness while doing doing it.

Most times in cases where parents push their children to study or practice certain disciplines or profession isn’t just for the money attached to such professions but also for the reputation, respect and class such professions gives or attracts in the society. I feel parents are the moulders of society, they’re the first teachers and instructors of the child. Following passion or money comes from the knowledge you’ve previously garnered as a child while growing up.

I think so too, the main thing in both of these, in my opinion, is money, which is quite clear, because many people whose selves are controlled by money prove that money can make us passionate, although there may be those who prioritize passion over money, but it seems that only a small minority. Apart from that, with you who have to work to support your parents, I understand what you are going through and you must be enthusiastic about going through it even though it may sometimes feel annoying or tired, but what you are doing is good behavior because it is one of the good behaviors to repay your own parents who have raised you. I myself am like that.
