You can only be poor from investing in altcoins when you fail to make a research before venturing into altcoins investment....They're some altcoins that's promising when you invest in them, and they're also coins that's valueless when you invest in them....So during investment of any coins, you need to make a proper research so that you will not invest in wrong coin that doesn't have potential

The example you gave of changing fortunes through altcoins does not happen to everyone.

Trading is a gambling game where gamblers who are lucky can win big. It is not easy to make a profit from an uncertain position like trading. There is a possibility of getting high profits with risk but you have to reach a risk tolerance level and have funds that are worth losing.
