Great news, zero rake is excellent, but it is only heads up poker and you have to find your opponent yourself via a code or a sharable link. There are no tournaments etc. (correct me if I am wrong).
IMO, this will appeal to a very low number of players, may be for some private friends but not much. It will be good if, duel can come up with fully feature loaded poker client with zero rake (or lowest in the industry like less than 3%).

Just coming in here as a former Duel guy,,, had to laugh at the latest screenshot featuring Tranny or Not   I can only guess this is a half photo shown and the full one reveals the bet won or lost. Interesting title also is 'Linkedin or Interpol' like what are the UN now stalking people on Linkedin

Tourneys and tables are being worked on, but for now it's basically just to play with your friends like the other P2P games.

You can invite a bunch of people to a table though, and play tournament style.  (Capped at 1 table right now, more soon)

If you don't really have people that you know personally to join some games, you can always ask in the Duel Discord if anyone is up for a game.  Usually you'll find a few people that will play anywhere between $1-$1000+

Nope, tournaments have an increasing blind structure and many more caveats. There is a lot of craze for guaranteed prize pool type of tourneys which is totally missing here.

You can not compare yourself to poker now which is a marketing platform. At pokernow you have options for branding the playing environment (tables/felt/cards etc.) which is also totally missing at duel.

i'm not that much into poker, so i don't care about it, but the other games, especially 8 ball is bringing back memories as i used to play 8 ball pool a lot, so i'll definitely have to try it.
i hope people won't ruin it by trying to cheat or it's going to go downhill real fast.

As always Duel uses edgy jokes and controversial for the marketing with the game about guessing if a person has a penis

X gave information to reporters that Duel tried to impersonate Malaysian police through reports it sent to them. Effectively Duel dragged X to court and put them in trouble having to shift through Malaysian police reports only to later find out it was all fake. Mind you, this was all done for a handle on twitter, namely @monarch, which they later tried to bribe twitter employees to keep also. The owner of Duel is a man with a grudge against anyone that goes against him and willing to spend millions to fight for it.

But then again, Musk is also petty so there goes more publicity for Duel. In Musk's eyes, banning all Duel players from the platform will do something. Meanwhile news site are now picking up this story offering more photos publicity Twitter could ever offer. Duel owners don't seem to be backing down though, still going for these handles lol

Well to be fair to Duel, the "bribery" they're accused of would have had a net zero financial impact to players on their platform.
On the contrary, the aforementioned casino has a very severe case of actively trying to censor bad reviews through financial bribery in this forum, which hides the truth and can lead to more players losing money. Bribing twitter workers to hand over a username is peanuts in front of that. Let them spend their money to get usernames all they want. They just broke twitter rules and got banned for it. It just explains why Musk hates them.

and it was waiting for players forever. Are there ongoing tournaments and cash games like on other sites? Or we can only invite other layers to our game?

Hey, thanks for your reply! Maybe one day I will invite a friend to play poker with him, but it would be really great if you started running tournaments or at least cash games with 6 to 9 people at the table. The thing is that I like it when many are in the game, not just one of my friends. I like to win from strangers, not from my friends, if you know what I mean. It is real and they do this exactly to have others talk about the casino in social media. In my country we have this wording "Talk bad about me, but at least talk about m"e. It is working because Duel is outplaying many casinos that worked hard for years and already receive less deposits.

This is obviously an unusual thing at a live blackjack table. Because we don't see any other casinos doing it. You are already aware of the unusual behaviour of the dealers and stuff in Duel blackjack table since you created this thread: What the hell is going on Duel live blackjack??!!

The Duel team is getting success with this strategy. We aren't discussing about the blackjack table of other casinos as the way we are doing it about them. Although the discussions are happening negatively, it is helping them to reach more people.
