Everything is so much in favour of AJ that it almost boils down to this:
Those betting on Paul are hoping the fight will be rigged
Those betting on AJ believe it will be legit.

Some people putting money on Paul might be encouraged by high odds, but I'd need at least x50 before considering placing a bet on him.
If AJ loses this fight, the entire boxing industry will look like a big joke.

What do you mean? He was impressive at the start of his career. He became a world champion early on. But we really don't know that Joshua has a weak chin, so after Andy Ruiz broke it, Joshua was not the same anymore.

Although he avenge his defeat, whenever he will fight caliber fighter like Usyk, Joshua fell short. He had a good win against Francis Ngannou and we thought he will resurrect his career. But when he try to fight Dubois, the same thing happened to him, he was knock out.

Now, he chooses the easy route by fighting Jake Paul for a good money.

You are right, most athletes usually do well in beginning of their career but after a while they start slowing down due to injuries and other factors,  in didn't really know that ruiz broke his chin though, that's a lot to affect his performance. I watched a clip on YouTube, the fight between him and Daniel dubious last year, the gane was terrible because Anthony Joshua took a beating, since then i stopped rating him

This is actually interesting fight since Joshua is a professional boxer. We will see to what extent can Jake Paul fight with a pro boxer. And we will gauge if indeed he has the chance to belong in the elite line-up of professional boxers. Because right now, his reputation is not in the pro level. We still connect him to exhibition fights and of course money. But since money is on the line, definitely, Paul will find a way how to elevate his market value in the boxing community. And so he needs to challenge these pro boxers and gauge where he's at. It would be good to see him hit off the canvas and lose. And more than likely, it can easily decline his bargaining power in the boxing community.

You’ll be at high risk of losing if you bet on something like x50 odds in case they offer it - obviously that would be fake.

And about what the industry thinks, that will pass. AJ isn’t a champion anymore, so it’s not a huge deal if he loses. We just can’t accept it because we hate what Jake Paul has been doing. But that’s the reality now. Boxing isn’t a pure competitive sport anymore, it’s become a business playground for people who know how to make money and Jake is one of them.

This makes me wonder; what exactly are they trying to achieve from this fixture? Are they really trying to wave everyone to go with a one-sided bet, knowing too well AJ is no match to this clown? For me, I feel this is just another exhibition match. The fact most people think AJ is overrated, has nothing to do with his core strength and records.

This is a show fight, its not to be compared to boxing in general.   So to state the obvious, anything can and will happen if it gets the paid viewers then its mission accomplished and its a pay day for both of them more then some career moving event.   
  I'll take the underdog odds just off the basis that some wild outcome is perfectly possible in these settings and we can even say that outcome is in the promotion and 'arrangement' of such a fight.    The only thing that disrupts that is a possible medical need to stop the fight, when the two fighters are so imbalanced it has to become more likely.

For me, that’s not worth it,  . Taking Jake Paul to actually beat AJ is crazy. If there’s any line I’d consider, it would be Jake Paul going the distance. That’s already a very tough task, but still way more realistic than him knocking out or beating AJ.

I really can't believe that this fight is actually going to happen.  I'm going to have to resubscribe to Netflix I guess.  At least for a month.

I don't see how Jake doesn't get knocked out.  I feel like this is truly him succeeding in the boxing missing he set out on all those years ago.  Being in this fight means he already won.

I am happy with any announcement from the great white Jake if this is not to announce that the fight is cancelled heheheh.

On the low selling of tickets, this the fault of the scammer Tank Davis. This boxing fight was supposed to be the Jake Paul vs. Tank Davis, however, it appears that Tank has a problem and he has taken advantage to cancel from the fight. I speculate that the problem is an excuse or it might also be a problem created by Tank to cancel from the fight.

Same, if there would have been odds to bet on what the announcement would be, a cancellation or move of the date would have had a lot of value to bet on.
Betting on the fight though doesn't make any sense. We all know that there might be some secret handshake deal involved, can't think of anything else. So betting on Joshua not only has super low returns, it's also not a guarantee. I would rather go with the draw or even JP, just for the heck of it being a fixed nonsense fight, just what we have seen before.

If there was a secret handshake for this fight, I speculate that this would be for the great white Jake to ask Anthony Joshua not to use his power punches so the great white Jake can lose with a decision only instead of being carried on a stretcher out of the ring by his brother Logan.

Anthony Joshua will certainly not agree to lose on a secret handshake. He might agree, however, will break the agreement in the ring and give Jake Paul a power pants hehehehehe.

The majority(maybe all) of Jake Paul's fight is just for show and earn money and a lot of people who accept Jake Paul's offer only do it for the money, so it isn't really far fetched if this fight will be rigged or scripted. To be honest, I don't really get the excitement people get on this fight, but I guess maybe a lot of them want to see Jake Paul to get knocked down by Anthony Joshua.

People again have started to talk how this is going to be a suicide fight for Jake, give him no chances, that he should prepare ambulance or coffin. I saw this photograph today too and I was like wtf, haha. Size aside, AJ don't just have to loose the fight because he is unmatched in all angles. AJ has 25 knockouts in 28 wins with 4 losses, a two time heavy weight champion. There's no way Paul should win even though he is not too small as he has 7 knockouts in 12 wins with 1 loss. But just like the fight is code named the "fight that shuts men down", there could be several wonders to come. But based on available facts, Paul can only win when the fight is rigged. AJ is a fierce fighter with on of the most heavy punches in the industry.

I hope the fight goes down the right way come December 19th.

PS: Netflix could livestream this fight from the 8th round as promoted by Paul.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I reckon if the fight was cancelled, it would be all over the media. That cracked/broken nose thing is probably just Paul trolling, or just looking for an excuse he could use if he loses.
Having to do a weight cut is probably not something AJ is accustomed to, but it's probably not going to cause him much problems, especially if he starts cutting days in advance.
In his last 2 fights, he weighed 252.5 pounds (114.5kg) and this time he has to show up 7.5 pounds (3.4kg) lighter. So all he has to do is go easier on the food for a few days and lose some water from his body before the official weight-in, and he should be fine.

Meanwhile, Tyson Fury changed his original prediction. He no longer believes Paul will knock out AJ, he's recent one is “I think it’ll go the distance, and I think it’ll be a move-around and a points job.” without specifying who would be the winner.
I hope that the fight isn't scripted and that AJ will beat Jake and then hopefully we will see Joshua Vs Fury, better late than never.

I saw an article about this. Apparently, Jake's team wanted Anthony Joshua to be at 245lbs during the weigh-in to at least have some disadvantage.

Another thing to mention though is that it seems that the ticket is not sold out? And one of his tweet says "Buy your tickets NOW (LINK IN BIO)🎟️". If this has been sold out, for sure Jake Paul is very proud to mentioned it.

People are probably tired of this kind of boxing. I mean, they aren't really seeing an actual fight. Also, compared to Jake Paul's fight against Mike Tyson, there isn't much hype to this fight.
