I think this fight was the fight that ended the doubt in AJ's credibility because he was beginning to lose his fan base as a result of his previous matches in which he had lost many fights, and some of them are just looking like fixed matches, which is not so. He used this opportunity to redeem his name in the boxing ring, and now we know he still has that ability in him to win matches, and also he is still fit and in good form to fight as the case may be.
Jake Paul learnt his lessons and would remain humble as an athlete. He is lucky AJ did not strike out his jaw with his heavy punches. Maybe we could say AJ engaged him in the fight with mercy, otherwise he could not have withstood the punches from AJ.

Even when his opponent destroyed him. Where is act of fixed fight this time? This fight was like cat play with mouse. First cat let mouse feeling that it can still escape, plays with it, then kills the mouse. AJ let this fight last longer to make does not spectators leave disappointed much. He could have ended it in first round and THE FIGHT EVERYONE WAS TALKING ABOUT would have last a minute. Instead he let show to last longer.

So this was all more of a show than a contest right? There's literally no amount of post on Twitter that will change the situation of things, so he should better focus and cooperate with his surgeon to get him fixed. He's better of just posting stuff on Twitter and YouTube like he does, rather than get a contract to fight in a ring with a professional boxer.
In a way, I like what AJ did. If he had finished him off just in the first round, that would have been the most nugatory exhibition matches ever in history-- one good punch was all he needed. Barely up his feets, staggering like he was on some shit.. Guess what? People still paid hundreds of dollars to watch them.

It can't be ban, unless there will be no fans that are going to support their kind of fights, no one buying live ticket gates or if there are PPV. So it's really up to us to feed this so called boxers with that can of money.

Again, he is going to earn maybe close to 9 figures, so maybe that might be enough for Jake Paul to say that it's worth it to fight a true boxer as he is going to earn that much against AJ. And as you can see, even boxing fans here are still divided, some supported this kind of fights while majority doesn't want any exhibition fights anymore as we are over the pandemic era. This used to be famous during that time, sort of to have some fun and entertainment during that lockdown.

Well Jake Paul said in the pre-fight conferences that he was willingly to die in the ring, while AJ replied he has a license to kill. So yeah, Jake was aware of the risks involved in this fight, luckily for him AJ punches were only about 20% of its power. We would have had a dead body in the ring if AJ had punched Jake with the same force he hit Francis Ngannou.

Thank goodness, he didn't agree to do that shit (if such a thing was true), to be defeated. That simple act would have ended his boxing career without doubt. I like how he uses these wins against Jake Paul to resurrect his boxing career. At least there will be respect for his name when called by other boxers.

Wait, for real? Damn, that's rough, even if he got 90 million out of it. I guess that's what happens if you fight someone who is completely out of your league. I can't help but think that Jake Paul thought Anthony Joshua would be holding back a lot so as not to seriously injure him.

Throughout his whole "boxing" career, he only fought 2 active and in shape boxers, and he lost to both of them. If he retires because of this injury, that is a nasty way to leave boxing.

Fighting and beating Jake Paul does not prove anything for AJ, IMHO. Jake Paul can be considered a novice professional boxer, aside from the fact that Jake Paul is smaller than AJ, and we can see how huge the difference is. The fight looks like a senior university student (AJ) fighting a high school freshman(Jake Paul).

That said, Paul's boxing was pretty weak. He was constantly going down even without being hit, you could see he was grasping for breath and had difficulty keeping balance. He was trying to take a knee from time to time to catch breath. He was clearly outmatched. Should have ended this much sooner and take less damage.

watched some parts of the match and I just told myself that it wasn't really a fair fight that was a beat up if you ask me. Anthony Joshua dominated the ring because he is more experienced than his opponent. jake paul isn't even supposed to competing with Anthony, he is just a youtuber and not really much of a fighter to me. This game was indeed an easily predicted game, Anthony winning was the obvious outcome.

It's a life shortening punch, thousands of neurons died from it.

Just seen the photos and damn, he is lucky he didn’t end up with a worse injury. This experiment is totally over for him now, Joshua whilst not as good as Usyk clearly, is still a monster. Paul is lucky he hasn’t got a serious head injury, there is a reason these guys are dangerous. The fight went exactly as I predicted, AJ tried REALLY hard not to hurt Jake in the first few rounds and pulled the trigger in round 6, when Jake was so gassed out anyway that there was no point in dragging it any further.
AJ didn't even break a sweat, it wasn't even light sparring for him. We all know he could've finished the fight in the first round with a little effort. Maybe it's better though, at least they gave people something to watch and we still had the KO.

I reckon there might be a large group of people betting on AJ winning within first 1 or 2 rounds, they are definitely not happy with AJ right now, but it is what it is: show business first, sport comes second.

I don't know what kind of damage Paul suffered exactly. I've seen some reports of broken jaw and/or broken teeth, but I guess he deserves some credit for stepping up to a much bigger and better guy and for taking it on the chin.

The Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul fight was satisfying. I never thought Jake had a chance to be honest, like how does a YouTuber begin to think he can take on AJ just because Tyson went easy on him. The match hype prior to the fight was annoying that all I wished was to see AJ raining blows on that Fraud. AJ had him in the hospital after 4 knockdowns with a broken jaw in the 6th round. That is what you get when you fight a real heavyweight champion.

The prediction of this match was totally obvious, at this point it's not gambling any more but it's a certain match that Joshua will certainly win, take a look at their physical differences very much significant, and I am totally sure that it is for entertainment sake that made Jake Paul go for such a fight, if not it is not balanced at all

I guess he toyed with him for a while , many were expecting Joshua to knock out Jake during the first round. But he didn’t he just prefer toying with him till he eventually run out.

Starting losing his balance that’s when Joshua strike more aggressively, it was really thrilling though the first rounds was quite boring , till round 6 when Joshua got all serious and decided to end it .

I wonder what the impact will be on Jake Paul’s future. He was way too aggressive, challenging proven boxers and even fighting guys who were obviously much bigger than him. Fighting Mike Tyson was one thing since he’s already old, but AJ is still young and way bigger. That move just didn’t make sense.

He was probably out of his mind chasing easy cash. After what he went through in that fight, I hope he really sits down and asks himself if it was all worth it.

I think there would be no impact in the match and Jake Paul, because the game was a pure entertainment I have been watching boxing for quite awhile now, but whenever I see Jake Paul in the ring or hears he has a fight with someone I just feel like it’s just going to be a play ground, because sometimes I really don’t understand how YouTuber turns into a boxer, that will have to tell you something.

Jake Paul allowed pride to almost hand him over a death sentence. I'm sure he hasn't met anyone like Anthony Joshua if not he could have had this broken jaw by now. Some professions are not something you would just switch into from no where and even if you do, try to know where you belong. Anyways, it's all entertaining and that's the goal but Anthony Joshua denied fans the privilege of streaming on Netflix which was supposed to stream the fight had it reached round 8. But Anthony said No, and ended it in the 6th round. Jake would come for a rematch anyway, I know he is fearless, maybe we will wait to see his next move after recovery.
