The crypto industry gains more attention during the bull run. This is proof that people are motivated to invest when they see prices going up. The hype during the bull run is so high that crypto advertisements flood the internet. Encouraging someone to invest in an asset whose price is declining is always difficult. They are always fearful when they see their funds declining.

There is no best time to introduce a newbie. Interest is more important than the season. You don't have to wait for a particular market before introducing Bitcoin to someone interested.

It is important to teach them about both seasons. They should be taught that these two seasons will always happen. Therefore, they should not be too excited about the bull market and not too apprehensive about the bear market.

There is no best time to learn about investing and there is no best time for investing, the moment you have your discretionary income, use part of them to start investing in bitcoin using the DCA method. Other methods of investing in bitcoin exist but most of them are too complicated for newbies that is why I'm suggesting the DCA method that is straightforward and can be started with small amount of money. It will also save them the headache of looking for or waiting for the bottom to buy, so get started with the DCA method anytime you have some money you can keep in bitcoin for long term such as 10 years from today.

What are our expert members' opinions on the best time to teach newbies about investing?

The best time is when the investor or newbie is ready to learn and follow every instructions you're going to be dropping down for him, a newbie also have to experience both the bear and the bull altogether, so that they know and understand what to expect in each of the season, you also have to establish the fact in knowing which aspect is the newbie going for, a long time investment or short one, then the best time to buy and sell with all the corresponding market seasons.

When the market is in a bull market, you can show them your profit, and the best move is to make a profit

This is not the right move, in my opinion. They have no business knowing how much you've made and how much you've invested. I know this might depend on the kind of relationship you people have, but to me, it is preferred that they don't know.
When you're teaching a newbie about bitcoin, don't do it and then try to convince them to invest, do it so that they know and understand bitcoin and then invest if they want to. Showing them your profit might only further increase their eagerness to make a profit, so even though they don't understand what it is, they will invest.

When the market is in a bear market, teach newbies the risks and the tragedy of investing so they know what to avoid.

The way bitcoin is taught in both markets should be the same way. In both scenarios, you're teaching them t understand what Bitcoin is and how it works, not how to invest. Whatever they do with the information you pass to them should be up to them. However, I see the rationale behind teaching newbies about  Bitcoin in the bear market. At least in a bear market, they can clearly see how investing in Bitcoin can be; they should understand it's not always a bed of roses.

Its not easily as theories when investing in bitcoin during bearish market then selling later after bullish market moment, in cryptocurrency trading always have unpredictable moment indeed chart indicate have raise support price but any possibility with other supporter raise between bitcoin or altcoin. So my advice for newbie if want investing in cryptocurrency must acceptable well risk happening later when investing has possibility price drop and must be calm without panic to sell.

For newbie better focus investing in bitcoin or altcoin due target to earn profit for long term, learn more about cryptocurrency during have any moment holding bitcoin assets if want to be trading with short term target set up profitable. Have difference learning when entry the market based on the theories have read before.

I don't think there is a specific time termed as "BEST TIME" for teaching anyone about cryptocurrency because the basic that should be considered is the interest of the person, although from a wide range of view I think a whole lot of person do get flooded to actually learning and researching about the crypto space during the bull season and I think one of the reason is because of all the promo and videos they see out there especially from the so called crypto trading influencers about how crypto made them rich without much effort. This for me is a really bad way to go about because the person in question won't be ready about the reality and volatility that the crypto space holds. In essence, if you want to teach anyone just be sure you highlight and make them know properly that getting involved in cryptocurrency doesn't guarantee your wealth or riches overnight so they won't be stuck with the wrong mentality.

The best time to teach beginners about investing is when they are ready to learn. It's useless to explain everything to them including the advantages/disadvantages and anything to avoid if they are not ready to learn.
A person's focus will be formed when they feel interested in what they want to learn, you also don't need to waste too much energy inviting someone to learn about Bitcoin. Wait until he comes to you, that's the right time to teach beginners.

These you mention aren't really necessary, what matters most is the eagerness of the learner to be ready to pass through the storm crypto investments carries, the ups and downs and be truly stand to face them all.

A newbie thinking every crypto investment is all about profits and no losses will certainly be put to depression and regret, creating some sort of traumatic experience he/she can't forget.

What newbie really wants is the right mindset, the ability to be patient when expectations are not met, the knowledge how to take profits and stop loss, how to approach altcoin and not jump into them like it's simple and more.

It's too long, do not read!

Teaching newbies on how to invest money in Bitcoin is challenging, and it's a very time consuming task. They must learn about Bitcoin, fundamentally to somewhat technically, for realizing potential of Bitcoin, its helpfulness, and its bullish future. Then knowing basics technicallly for choosing and using Bitcoin wallets for storing bitcoin and broadcasting their Bitcoin transactions properly.

IMO, the best time is when it's the bear market. They have not that much expectation when it's bear market and everyone's confidence in the market is not that much at all. And it's the right timing for them to accumulate because the market is quite low and you'd show them how much the market was during the bull run. They will have more confidence that there's an upcoming bull run when they have entered during the bear market. But for those who have entered during this bull run when it's still below $100k, it was also a good time for them but I guess that the most of them missed taking profits due to lack of experience and greed that have made them to ask for more.

Whether the price of Bitcoin is going up or down, you don't need to show a profit or loss to entice a new investor. In my opinion, you should introduce them to Bitcoin and give them a basic idea of it. You should advise them to do research on Bitcoin. When they analysis the structure of this asset and learn about its past price, they will definitely want to become an investor. When they ask you about investment strategies, you will provide them with all possible support regarding Bitcoin investment.

The ability to make investment decisions belongs to the investor alone. You are only an adviser but in order to be free from the liability that may be blamed on you if you do not manage the investment properly in the future you should be responsible and inform new investors about the positive and negative aspects of Bitcoin.

For me, the bull season is a better time to teach newbies what investing is all about. My reason being that you need something to captivate their attention and keep their interest. During bear season, market is always silent, boring and not a place any newcomer will want to be or witness. The bull season creates noise and excitement. However, while teaching them investment at such a time, make sure not to expose them to memes or degens. Stick to utility based tokens and coins and only allow them to invest just that which they can afford to lose.

Both seasons has it's pros and cons hence I don't consider any to be better than the others in regards to when best time to teach newbies what investment is all about, newbies should be exposed to the knowledge about the two different markets occurrence which they can only understand more better on the occasion of them having the experience that is other than theoritical knowledge, no time is best in my opinion the only best time is when you are ready to invest that amount that you are not going to be making use of for the next 10 years and above, no doubt about the excitements that comes with the bullish season but being overly excited about it for a newbie can be disappointing when the bear market comes.

That is the fact because some newbie will just like to hear story about bitcoin and they will pretend to invest so that you will tel them everything and that is not really fair you will stress your self and later they won't invest. So to guide someone to invest in bitcoin the first thing they will do is to give them some link to read about bitcoin, and if they are interested and have capital to invest then you can start to tell them your experience and knowledge about bitcoin and the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin but I don't think in my own view they get disadvantages of bitcoin because if I have invest and set my target I won't sell thing I reach my target before selling it and I will be profitable easily. Any investors need to be interested to invest in bitcoin or any other thing before you can get the confidence to teach and they will be serious to learn about it.

Is this newbie on the forum or newbie to the world of investing Roll Eyes

Because Afaik if it's forumwise, not all newbies are newbies others are experts of the trade and have the knowledge to actually share valuable information with other members of the forum here.. otherwise to learn crypto investments best approach is hands-on through buying some assets themselves so that they can see how price behaves and get all experience first hand, textbook stuff won't help you!

You cannot force anyone to learn bitcoin if they don't show any interest. This is why the best time to teach anyone is when they have the interest to learn irrespective of the market condition at that moment.

Anyone that is ready to invest in bitcoin wouldn't mind to buy bitcoin at the bull run or during the bear market because I do tell them that DCA is the most effective strategy to use in accumulating bitcoin by new investors.

Honestly, I am trying to teach people about something that involves risk, especially when it comes to spending money, because it can cause problems in the future, even though my intentions are good because there is an opportunity to make a profit and survive the decline in the value of fiat currency.

In bullish and bearish times, for me, both are good if there is an intention to seriously learn about investing.
That is something very important that a person must have in order to learn about investing. Investing seems easy in theory, but implementing it is not easy because there are challenges, and the biggest challenge is not being able to cope when the economy is in a tight spot, which causes people to touch the investments they have made. If I can, I will teach everything I know.

What are our expert members' opinions on the best time to teach newbies about investing?

When the market is in a bull market, you can show them your profit, and the best move is to make a profit

When the market is in a bear market, teach newbies the risks and the tragedy of investing so they know what to avoid.

It can be both, but what is the best time really?

Why do you need a specific time to teach someone? You have charts and timeframes, you can show them the charts, and explain everything through that, regardless of the current situation of the market. If it's during the bear market, you should show them the previous bull cycle, and explain how the market goes from where it is right now to where it was during last bull run, and then tell them how they can make profits if they invest right now and keep holding until the next bull run.

If it's the bull run, you should show them the chart from when it was the bear market, and tell them how they could get profits if they had invested during the bear market and were to sell right now when the market is so high. Using this technique, you can teach a newbie at any time, without having to wait for a specific season or time so that you can demonstrate everything to make them understand.

As long as the newbie has a general understanding of things, they won't have a hard time understanding these things.

It can be both, but what is the best time really?
Whenever they are ready to learn and financially confident to start building their portfolio.

The bear market can be better off, buy on low prices, consistent accumulation and in step the market progress into the bull season, at each step of the way they are making profits which gives solid assurance concerning their investment.

Moving from a bullish market down to the bear part, creates high level of panic. I believe new investors will find it conducive entering from dip season than buying high and the price then drops.
